It was created as a soft-serve treat called Frogurt. Not long afterward, Humphreys and Dannon released their own versions of frozen yogurt. Its popularity grew in the 80s, mostly due to frozen yogurts "health food" status. Although it can have as many calories as ice cream, according to the Livestrong website, “yogurt with probiotic cultures, including frozen varieties, can help maintain and improve heart and blood vessel health."
"Hey Dad, keep my Frogurt on the grill, you know how I like mine extra charred!" Patty Robinson returns to LoL to LIE to us. This Hurley episode, may or may not have originally been the Weekend at Bernie's 3 script. We discuss the hotness of Ben, seeing a guy about a dead guy, and how many Perc 30 it takes for a good afternoon. This might be the most informative podcast that has ever existed. Would we LIE to you?!

According to the National Day Calendar, National Frozen Yogurt Day is observed on February 6th to celebrate a delicious frozen dessert that has transitioned from a trend to a common freezer item over the past few decades. The sales of frozen yogurt continue to rise annually, driven by people seeking a healthier alternative to ice cream. The surge in popularity can be attributed to the wide variety of flavors and toppings available for frozen yogurt. #NationalFrozenYogurtDay The Story of Yogurt In 1970, H.P. Hood introduced the first frozen yogurt in the United States, initially named Frogurt and served as a soft-serve treat. Subsequently, Humphreys and Dannon also launched their versions of frozen yogurt. The 80s witnessed a substantial increase in its popularity, largely due to its perceived status as a "health food" option. Ice cream manufacturers adapted by offering low-fat alternatives. Today, frozen yogurt is experiencing a resurgence as consumers develop a preference for its tangy yogurt flavor. It has become a common treat not only found in household freezers but also enjoyed as a sweet indulgence after work or play. In today's session, we'll be featuring clips from past interviews about the Yogurtland, Menchies and 16 Handels story.

Season 5 is already heating up, Jay and Andy tackle a Hurley episode full of lies, shih-tzus and nosy cashiers.
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. This week we are coming to you from a Skype call with a slower connection than a dial up modem. Between the dead air and connection glitches we even manage to talk a little wrestling like how Jessica Troy was the MVP of the weekend, how timing and planning rumble matches is a pain in the ass, our most random experiences with WWE superstars, some more potential NXT signees, Shazza has strong opinions about Peyton Royce being underutilized and how a dud explosion can kill a main event.
This week, Joanna, Dave, and Neil are tossing Hot Pockets in surprise for Season 5, Episode 2 - "The Lie" - Hurley tries to evade the police and whomever is after him while Sayid stays unconcious, back on the Island, things are looking bad for Frogurt. In the past, Hurley was against "the lie" the whole time. This podcast is split into two sections THE CALM where we talk about just the episodes we've watched up to this point and do not discuss facts and knowledge from later in the series and THE STORM where make use of all the knowledge that 6 seasons of Lost and 15 years of Lost fandom has generated, plus our own crazy brains. It's time for another one of our "Up Late" editions! This week, Rob and Andy drink and talk all things Treehouse of Horror III. Plenty of classic moments in this episode, but none more than the iconic "Frogurt" guy. Enjoy!
We love a good off season Treehouse of Horror conversation. This week, Story Break's Will Campos (Video Game High School, Hulu's RocketJump: The Show, and Dimension 404) joins us to chat about Treehouse of Horror III. We'll also talk about the things that terrified us as kids including: Mars Attacks, A Clockwork Orange and the Twilight Zone. This episode, probably has one of the best Treehouse of Horror gags burned into your memory, too. Yep … we're gonna talk about Frozen Yogurt … which we call Frogurt! It's good … but it's cursed … and that's bad.
