The Listening Booth takes a beat this week with a healing through music mix, bookending the program with a reflective, lyricless electro set featuring throwbacks by Geotic and Jeffrey Silverstein, as well as a soul blues set with Mavis Staples and a throwback by Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings. New alternative in between including Tim Burgess of Charlatans fame, Sweet Spirit, and Katie Malco—who has a sweet limited edition vinyl release going on.
