We know this issue landed in mid- to late July, but can it ever be too early to start thinking about your back-to-school wardrobe? Sassy invites you to imagine yourself as a Coco Chanel knockoff, an intimidatingly cool biker chick, or a face and a couple of limbs with monochromatic garments laid on top of you. (It'll make sense when you see it.) You can also learn about eye makeup, hair brushes, kilts, and what kind of time Jane had co-starring in R.E.M.'s "Shiny Happy People" video...but wouldn't you rather talk about all the new ADS that helped make this issue the fattest we've seen in months? We sure would! Get out two to four pairs of jeans and listen to our latest episode!QUICK LINKS

Finding a balance between career and creativity. Have you ever built a "successful" career only to realize it was draining the very creativity you intended to nurture? Artist Emily-Jane Sarroff spent a decade navigating the worlds of architecture and high-level business consulting before realizing that her most important work was the art she made for herself. Emily-Jane shares her journey of deconstructing the "societal programming" that linked her worth to her career and explains why she recently pivoted to real estate to provide her nervous system the safety it needed to create again. In this episode, we discuss:The "Disappointment" Narrative: How the internal pressure to succeed led Emily-Jane away from her creative roots after high school. The Architecture Trap: Why a "creative" degree can sometimes feel more technical than expressive, and the brave decision to "leap" away from a career that wasn't fuelling her soul.Choosing Self over Scale: Why Emily-Jane closed a successful, six-figure business to stop "proving herself" and start living from a heart space.“Weird and Woo Woo” Art: A look into Emily-Jane's spiritual, abstract style and why she prioritizes creating for her own healing and expression rather than for commissions.Practical Creativity: How to set up a permanent art space (even in a garage corner!) and the importance of scheduling “buffer zones” to transition your brain from logical work to creative flow. You might also like:Rediscovering the Inner Artist with Kerry LyonsPeonies, Paint and Personal Growth with Sally Jean FoxSociety, Stereotypes and Sparkle with Jessie ElliottClick here to buy Samantha EJ Button's poetry collection Not Wholesome Content I would love some financial support to help me to keep making this podcast. The arrest follows allegations that he shared confidential government material with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. He is the first senior British royal in modern history to be arrested. He has since been 'released under investigation' with King Charles saying in a statement that, "the law must take its course." So, what will this mean for the monarchy moving forward? Dr Grant Morris spoke to Jesse.

2/3/2026 THE HARDEST LEADER TO COACH BRUSHES MY TEETHEPISODE 1734Coaching a team of people can be difficult. It's more difficult to coach a team of people when the leader of that team is not coachable. Perhaps they have it all figured out.  Perhaps they are unwilling to be lead by new ideas, new feelings, new beliefs. Perhaps they have blind spots, blame shifting and a bad attitude as common practice in their daily execution. When leading and when coaching leaders we must be willing to accept responsibility and allow our own awareness to be challenged and elevated. Without honest, heartfelt, sometimes painful personal evaluation leaders remain stuck. One of the hardest and yet most powerful questions to consider is this: What could I have done differently before we got here?https://j-loren-s-school.thinkific.com/products/live_events/Leadingleadersretreat_________________________________________________________Leading Leaders Podcast is a short but impactful leadership video, blog and podcast distributed 5 days a week by J Loren Norris to promote faith, family and freedom in the face of a global leadership drought.Leadership Training, Interviews and EntertainmentVisit https://www.StoryPowerAcademy.com for more training material#leadingleaderspodcast #storypower #transforminggracetv #jlorennorrisLOOK FOR LEADING LEADERS PODCAST ON THESE PLATFORMS:- OBBM Network TV- WorldTrumpetTV- Apple Podcast- Spotify- Amazon- RumbleCopyright 2026 Tell It Like It Is Inchttps://my.linkpod.site/Jlorennorris 2/2/2026 WHEN LEADERS GET IN OVER THEIR HEADEPISODE 1733Too often leaders fail because they do not realize they are drifting into the deep end. Generally speaking these are leaders young in age. However, it can happen to leaders new to an industry, a role or a process. Changes in policies internally or laws externally can become a veritable quagmire. All the money expended, team members deployed and strategies employed are not enough. The solution still requires something of the leader themselves. On occasion all the effort one can muster, all the learning one can pursue, all the attention one can give to a problem just won't satisfy the hounds of change. Something personal, something sacrificial, something not yet written in the text books must be considered. It's time to think outside the box and do the unimaginable. You're gonna need thinking time for this and a brainstorm collaboration off the regular path. https://j-loren-s-school.thinkific.com/products/live_events/Leadingleadersretreat_________________________________________________________Leading Leaders Podcast is a short but impactful leadership video, blog and podcast distributed 5 days a week by J Loren Norris to promote faith, family and freedom in the face of a global leadership drought.Leadership Training, Interviews and EntertainmentVisit https://www.StoryPowerAcademy.com for more training material#leadingleaderspodcast #storypower #transforminggracetv #jlorennorrisLOOK FOR LEADING LEADERS PODCAST ON THESE PLATFORMS:- OBBM Network TV- WorldTrumpetTV- Apple Podcast- Spotify- Amazon- RumbleCopyright 2026 Tell It Like It Is Inchttps://my.linkpod.site/Jlorennorris

GM Andy Soltis is a U.S. Chess Hall of Famer, prolific author, and longtime Chess Life columnist who has left a lasting mark on American chess while balancing a decades-long career as an editor at the New York Post. His recent memoir, Deadline Grandmaster, retraces those parallel paths and shares remarkable stories such as playing a 16-year-old Vishy Anand, meeting Mikhail Tal, corresponding with Irving Chernev, and unknowingly crossing paths with Bobby Fischer. In our conversation, Andy revisits several of these moments and reflects on the challenges of chess improvement. We explore why players plateau, how to identify their own chess styles, and what today's players can learn from history's greats. Toward the end, Andy mulls his next project and discusses how chess publishing has evolved through the decades. It's always a privilege to hear Andy's stories, and I highly recommend Deadline Grandmaster for many more of them.  This episode was recorded on October 16, 2025  and thus does not discuss the tragic news of GM Daniel Naroditsky's passing.  0:00- Thanks to our sponsor, Chessable.com! Donald Trump is doubling down on the "It's not my signature" excuse regarding his troubling birthday message to convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. The original letter from Trump to Epstein was included in documents released by the House oversight committee. When the Wall Street Journal released details of the letter in July, Vice President JD Vance said it wasn't real. Now that its reality is no longer in dispute, (the original was held by Epstein's estate) the President and his supporters are denying it's his signature, despite multiple examples of his signature at the time that match. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt went so far as to say the White House would support an expert review of the signature. Who would trust a handwriting expert called by the White House? Yesterday, NBC asked Trump about the letter and he replied that he wasn't going to comment on something that's a dead issue...oh but this issue is very much alive and is haunting Trump daily. We welcome presidential historian and political analyst John Rothmann to the show. We'll ask him about Russian drones violating Polish airspace and Trump asking the EU to slap high tariffs on Russia to apply more pressure for an end to war with Ukraine. We'll air a conversation Mark had with Gregory Lyakhov. At 17, he's the youngest nationally syndicated columnist in the US.
