He waited 40 years for Moses!We need to say 'Here I am' just as Moses didWhen God has our attention we need to be willing to share all of our life not just parts we are happy withThis is a clear challenging message asking us to check our hearts, are we open ot God's calling, are we willing to obey,,,,or are we so caught up with daily life God is shut out. God's miracles happen with His people's workmanship.

This Sunday is Global Sunday at Family Church - the Sunday in the year when we celebrate all the different nationalities and cultures represented in the one church all brought together by one key theme - we are all saved by the blood of Jesus!Ps Ray gives an amazing message this week. He speaks abut Flags and Banners, perhaps Standards as they are often called. In Exodus 17:15 (NIV) it reads "Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner". Moses built this altar, God entrusted tribes and standards. Number 2:2 (NIV) reads "The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: “The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard and holding the banners of their family.”A flag denotes our natural belonging, our heritage, place of origin, who we are etc. However, a banner is a declaration, This is where the challenge comes in Ps Ray's message...what or who are we declaring over our lives....We all need to change direction, raise our banners high to say where we are going. Flags describe heritage. Banners are declarations. Song of Songs 2:4 (NIV) "Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let his banner over me be love".

In this short message celebrating Global Sunday, we open Scripture to discover three important truths: that God's heart is for all nations, that diversity is part of God's design, and that unity is more important than uniformity!

Today is Global Sunday in Family Church, a day when we celebrate all the nations and nationalities represented in our fellowship. It is also Pentecost Sunday - Pentecost being the day the Holy Spirit flowed into the collected peoples in the first church as described in Acts 2:1-4 (NIV) "When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them".Today, Ps Sean speaks about this and how in Joel 2:28-29 scripture states "that I will pour out my spirit on all Flesh". This is a very inclusive statement and relates today to our multi-lingual, multi-racial congregation!Ps Sean further speaks about how Jesus told His disciples that His Father would give them another helper if they kept His commandments (John 14:15-17). Jesus said that they would receive power when His Spirit came to rest upon them that they might witness to His name in all Judea, Sumeria...The challenge of this message is to ensure we all realise we are heirs to God and that His spirit will come down upon all of us in order for us to live power filled Kingdom lives.

She would go on to succeed Charles Adler as host of the national current affair talk show, Global Sunday, as well as hosting two radio shows focused on health policy and property rights. In 2008, Smith left the PC party, to much scrutiny, and joined the Wildrose Alliance. In the course of a year, across multiple elections, she had seen the party support base quadruple. In 2014, Smith once again joined the Provincial Conservative party, citing new leadership had been able to find common ground, with specific attention on economic standpoints. Due to this controversy, she was unable to win her next election, and opted instead to host the radio talk show CHQR, which she would later leave, along with Twitter, in response to egregious internet trolling. In May 2022, it was announced Smith would run for leadership of the United Conservative Party of Alberta, after the resignation of Jason Kenney. Payton Gendron Jr.'s White Supremacist attack in Buffalo terminated 10 lives - almost all of them black. Gendron is alleged to have been influenced by the White Supremacist mass killer in New Zealand, Brenton Tarrant, who also live streamed his rampage in 2019. We'll investigate what the international press has to say about this event and consider if we should expect more direct antiblack violence - motivated by White Genetic Annihilation.
