Send us your feedback — we're listeningGalatians 6:9 — Do Not Give Up, The Harvest Is Still Coming Recorded live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Atlanta • Lagos • Singapore • Wellington • Tokyo PERSEVERANCE • HOPE • ENDURANCE Christian prayer for perseverance • encouragement when you feel weary • trusting God during long seasons • finding strength to keep going Galatians 6:9 (NIV) “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” There are seasons in life when progress feels difficult to measure. We continue praying, serving, giving, helping, working, and trusting, yet the results we hope to see seem slow in arriving. In those moments, weariness can quietly begin to settle into the heart. Many people know that feeling today. Discouragement often arrives when effort appears greater than reward. We wonder whether our prayers are making a difference. We question whether our faithfulness matters. We ask ourselves whether all the unseen work, quiet obedience, and daily perseverance are accomplishing anything at all. Paul understood that challenge. That is why he encouraged believers not to become weary in doing good. God's timing is not always our timing. Seeds planted in faith do not always produce immediate results. Yet Scripture reminds us that faithfulness is never wasted in the kingdom of God. The Lord sees every act of obedience, every prayer whispered in faith, every step taken in trust, and every sacrifice made in love. Sometimes the greatest miracle is not immediate success. Sometimes it is the strength God gives us to keep going until the harvest arrives. Father, thank You that You see every part of my journey. Thank You that even when I cannot see visible results, You remain at work behind the scenes. Jesus, help me not to lose heart when progress feels slow. Strengthen my faith when discouragement tries to take hold. Teach me to trust Your timing and to remain faithful in the work You have placed before me. Holy Spirit, renew my strength today. Replace weariness with endurance, frustration with patience, and discouragement with hope. Help me continue walking forward with confidence that God is working in ways I cannot yet see. Across the world, from Atlanta to Lagos, from Singapore to Wellington and Tokyo, may weary hearts receive fresh encouragement, discouraged souls discover renewed strength, and every listener find hope in the promise that the harvest is still coming. Send us your feedback — we're listening Colossians 3:15 — Let Peace Have The Final Word Today Recorded live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Chicago • Wellington • Lagos • Singapore • Lima PEACE • CALM • EMOTIONAL STEADINESS midday prayer for inner peace • Christian prayer for a busy mind • finding calm during a stressful day • letting God's peace lead your heart Colossians 3:15 (NIV) “Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” By the middle of the day, many voices have already spoken into our lives. Responsibilities have demanded our attention. News headlines may have competed for our thoughts. Pressures, expectations, and unfinished tasks may all be trying to convince us that urgency should take control. Yet not every voice deserves the final word. Not every worry deserves our attention. Not every fear deserves our agreement. There is another voice that speaks more gently and more deeply than all the noise around us. It is the voice of Christ, inviting us to step away from striving for a moment and allow His peace to settle over our hearts. Peace does not arrive because life suddenly becomes simple. Peace arrives when we remember who is walking with us through the complexity. Father, thank You for being present in the middle of this day. Thank You that Your peace is available even when life feels busy and demanding. Thank You that I do not have to be controlled by pressure, fear, or stress. Jesus, help me quiet the voices that are stealing today's peace. Where my thoughts feel crowded, bring clarity. Where my heart feels restless, bring calm. Where I feel pulled in many directions, help me rest in the confidence that You are leading me. Lord, let Your peace become greater than my worries and stronger than my distractions. Help me move through the remainder of this day with a steady heart, a clear mind, and a renewed awareness of Your presence. Across the world, from Chicago to Wellington, from Lagos to Singapore and Lima, may hearts discover the quiet strength that comes from allowing the peace of Christ to rule within. Send us your feedback — we're listening Galatians 6:9 — Don't Give Up, Your Prayers Are Not Wasted Recorded live from London, England — where faith meets the world in daily prayer and global hope. Houston • Lagos • Manila • Bogotá • Brisbane PERSEVERANCE • HOPE • FAITH prayer for perseverance and hope • Christian encouragement when waiting on God • trusting God when answers seem delayed • prayer for those who feel discouraged Galatians 6:9 (NIV) “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” There are seasons when faith feels joyful and seasons when faith feels costly. There are moments when prayers seem to be answered quickly, and there are moments when we continue praying the same prayer for weeks, months, or even years. It is often during those quieter seasons of waiting that discouragement tries to find a place in our hearts. Many people listening today have not stopped believing, but they may be growing tired of waiting. They have continued praying for their family. They have continued praying for healing, provision, restoration, direction, and peace. They have remained faithful even when progress felt slow. Yet sometimes the question quietly arises: “Is anything changing?” The promise of Scripture reminds us that faithfulness is never wasted in God's hands. Every prayer matters. Every act of kindness matters. Every moment of obedience matters. Even when we cannot see immediate results, God continues to work in ways beyond our understanding. The harvest is not always visible while the seed is still growing. Father, thank You that You see every prayer that has been whispered in faith. Thank You that You have not forgotten the burdens, hopes, and requests that Your people continue to bring before You. Jesus, strengthen those who are growing weary in the waiting. Renew those who have been standing in faith for a long time. Where disappointment has begun to settle, replace it with fresh hope. Where uncertainty has increased, remind us that Your timing remains perfect. Lord, help us keep trusting, keep believing, and keep praying. Let us not measure Your faithfulness by what we can see today. Instead, help us remember that You are always working, even when the process is hidden from view. Across the world, from Houston to Lagos, from Manila to Bogotá and Brisbane, may hearts be encouraged to keep pressing forward, knowing that God is still working and that faithful prayers are never wasted. We continue to pray, continue to trust, continue to serve, and continue to move forward, yet the results we hoped to see can sometimes feel frustratingly slow. It is often during these quieter seasons that discouragement begins to whisper questions into our hearts. We wonder whether our efforts still matter. We wonder whether our prayers are making a difference. We wonder whether the seeds we have faithfully planted will ever produce the harvest we hoped for. Yet God's work is rarely rushed. Some of His greatest works happen beneath the surface, hidden from our immediate view. While we focus on what we cannot yet see, God continues to work faithfully according to His wisdom, His timing, and His purpose. The Lord has not forgotten your prayers. He has not overlooked your faithfulness. He has not abandoned the work He began in your life. Father, thank You that Your plans continue even when I cannot see them clearly. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” As a new day begins, there is something comforting about knowing that we do not have to figure everything out before we take our first step. Many people wake up already thinking about what lies ahead. There are responsibilities to carry, decisions to make, conversations to have, and situations that may still feel uncertain. It is easy to begin the day feeling as though we must somehow have all the answers before we move forward. Yet God has never asked us to know everything. He asks us to trust Him one step at a time. Before this day becomes busy, before schedules begin to fill and demands start competing for our attention, we can pause and remember that the Lord is already present in every moment we will face. The path ahead may not be completely visible, but the One who walks with us sees it clearly. Father, thank You for the gift of this new morning. Thank You for Your unfailing love that meets me before the day has fully begun. As I step into today, help me trust You more than my own understanding. Jesus, guide my thoughts, my words, and my decisions. Where I feel uncertain, give me wisdom. Where I feel hesitant, give me courage. This Sunday is Global Sunday at Family Church - the Sunday in the year when we celebrate all the different nationalities and cultures represented in the one church all brought together by one key theme - we are all saved by the blood of Jesus!Ps Ray gives an amazing message this week. He speaks abut Flags and Banners, perhaps Standards as they are often called. In Exodus 17:15 (NIV) it reads "Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner". Moses built this altar, God entrusted tribes and standards. Number 2:2 (NIV) reads "The Lord said to Moses and Aaron: “The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard and holding the banners of their family.”A flag denotes our natural belonging, our heritage, place of origin, who we are etc. However, a banner is a declaration, This is where the challenge comes in Ps Ray's message...what or who are we declaring over our lives....We all need to change direction, raise our banners high to say where we are going. Flags describe heritage. Banners are declarations. Song of Songs 2:4 (NIV) "Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let his banner over me be love".

We all know the Fruit of the Spirit sounds great on Sunday. But by Monday? That fruit can feel really far away. In this episode, we get real about what it actually looks like to walk in love, patience, peace, and self-control when life gets hard -- a difficult client, a team member who dropped the ball, or a season that's just heavy. This one's practical, honest, and for every woman trying to run her business and her life with faith in the middle of it.Scriptures Referenced"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control."— Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV)"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." — Proverbs 15:1 (NIV)"Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up."— Galatians 6:9 (NIV)"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." — Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."— John 15:5 (NIV)Key TakeawaysThe Fruit of the Spirit grows -- you can't force it. Your job is to stay connected to the source and let it flow from there.Love and kindness in business doesn't mean being a pushover. You can hold your boundary AND lead with a gentle tone. Before you reply to that frustrating email or message, pause. Even five minutes changes everything.Your standards don't drop just because someone else's did. Faithfulness is showing up with integrity even when others don't.Joy is not the same as happiness. You can be in a hard season and still have deep-down peace that God's got you.You don't try harder -- you abide deeper. Stay connected to Jesus, and the fruit takes care of itself.Reflection QuestionsTake a few minutes with these this week -- in your journal, on a walk, or just sitting quietly with your coffee.Where is it hardest right now for you to walk in patience or self-control -- at work, at home, or somewhere else?Is there a situation you've been reacting to instead of responding to? What would it look like to pause first? What does your time with God look like right now? Is the root strong enough to produce the fruit you need?Who in your life or business needs you to lead with gentleness this week, even when it's hard? One Thing to Try This WeekPick one relationship or situation that's been draining you -- a client, a team member, a hard season -- and before you engage with it this week, spend two minutes in prayer first. Just two minutes. Hand it to God before you handle it yourself. See what changes.CONNECT WITH JAN:Here are all the best places and FREE stuff
Send us your feedback — we're listeningPsalm 91:15 — Jesus, Answer Me in This Evening Hour and Let Your Presence Rewrite the Weight I Have Carried Today Welcome to Daily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper, live from London, England — reaching Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Cuba. Psalm 91:15 (NIV): “He will call on Me, and I will answer him… I will be with him in trouble.” Salmo 91:15 — “Ele clamará a Mim, e Eu lhe responderei… Estarei com ele na angústia.” “Your rod and Your staff comfort me.” / “Tua vara e Teu cajado me consolam.” Hebrews 4:16 (NIV): “Let us approach God's throne of grace…” Hebreus 4:16 — “Aproximemo-nos do trono da graça…” evening reassurance • answered prayer • emotional release sensação de alívio ao entardecer • oração respondida • liberação emocional As the evening draws in, the day begins to speak — sometimes gently, sometimes heavily. Thoughts replay, moments resurface, and the weight we carried without noticing suddenly makes itself known. In this hour, Jesus, Jesús, Jesus Cristo steps toward you, not with judgement, but with presence. He hears the call before it forms into words. He understands the weight before you explain it. And He answers not only your prayer, but also your unspoken ache. Psalm 91:15 is not distant language; it is a promise active in the reality of your evening. “I will answer him… I will be with him in trouble.” Presence first, solution second. Before anything changes around you, His nearness changes what is within you. This is why Hebrews calls you to draw near — Aproximemo-nos do trono da graça — because grace is not an idea, but a place where the tired heart meets real comfort. Jesús stands where your thoughts are crowded and quiets them one by one. Jesus Cristo enters the places where the day has carved its strain and fills them with gentleness. He holds what you cannot hold together. He steadies what felt fragile. He comforts in ways that move deeper than understanding. And the Shepherd's staff — Tua vara e Teu cajado me consolam — reminds you that you are guided, guarded, and carried into the evening, even when your steps feel slow. So breathe out what you've held in. Tell Him what still feels unsettled. Let His presence rewrite the story of your day. May Jesus meet you in this hour. May His answer rise within you. And may His grace become the rest your evening has been waiting for. evening prayer Jesus, Psalm 91 comfort, answered prayer, emotional release, Portuguese devotional, Spanish devotional, Latin America evening prayer, grace in the evening, Jesus Cristo comfort evening comfort • Jesus Cristo • Psalm 91 reassurance • answered prayer • emotional release • grace for the eveningSupport the showDaily Prayer with Reverend Ben Cooper now reaches 185 countries and 3,012 cities worldwide through the Global Blend Radio network. This is a listener-funded global ministry. The world grows quieter, and the heart grows honest. Questions rise. Thoughts settle. And into this stillness steps Jesus, Jesús, Jesus Cristo, not as a distant figure but as the One who carries what you cannot carry and holds what you cannot yet see. Psalm 91:16 reminds you that your life, your future, your tomorrow are not left to chance — they are held by a faithful God whose promises do not expire in the dark. Jesús, guía mi corazón en esta hora. Guide my heart in this hour. When uncertainty presses close, when fear imagines outcomes that Your presence does not confirm, remind me again that esperança — hope — is not fragile when it rests in You. You steady my breathing. You calm the haste inside me. You speak peace over the places where worry tried to build a home. Jesus Cristo brings reassurance deeper than answers. A presença dEle — His presence — reaches into every corner of your night. Ele cuida de você. He cares for you. Gently. Constantly. Faithfully. Even when you don't feel strong, His faithfulness becomes the ground beneath your weakness, the promise beneath your questions, the light beneath your waiting. And as the Shepherd leads you toward rest, Psalm 23 whispers the final word: Habitarei na casa do Senhor para sempre. You are held, you are guided, and you are never left alone in the night. So lay down what remains unfinished. Surrender the weight you cannot resolve. Let His faithfulness become the comfort of your final hour. May Jesus carry your tomorrow. How do we bless strength, adventure, and tenderness in the next generation without fear or striving? Stasi welcomes Rebekah Lovell into a conversation about her book Boyhood Resurrected, honoring the God-given design of boys and the invitation Jesus offers us to bless what is wild and good. Together, they explore how grace, wisdom, and hope meet us as we raise hearts formed by love, freedom, and faith, in a demanding culture. And friends, as we talk about boys being “wired for wild,” we are not diminishing the unique and glorious ways girls are wired for adventure as well. While most Captivated episodes are directed toward women, this conversation turns toward nurturing boys in a world that too often misunderstands or diminishes them.…..SHOW NOTES:…..VERSES: Hosea 6:3 (NIV) – Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. Isaiah 43:18-19 NIVForget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland. This passage from the prophet Isaiah, offering God's words to the people of Israel, is both beautiful and poetic. As followers of Christ, we can apply these promises to our own lives because God has opened every door and provided every gift He holds in His storehouse for us through Jesus.God has created for us a way out of the past and into the realm of the new He has made. He wants us to see, understand, and embrace all He has for us. In what was once a wilderness, He makes a way and what once was a wasteland, He creates a stream. That, my friends, opens up the doors for us to not only set new and exciting goals for our lives, but actually see them come true.Listen to The Message Bible's version of this passage: “Forget about what's happened; don't keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I'm about to do something brand-new. It's bursting out! Don't you see it? There it is! I'm making a road through the desert, rivers in the badlands.Declare this with me: I will forget the former things; I will not dwell on the past. I will see the new thing that God is doing! He is making a way in my wilderness and a stream in my wasteland. (from Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV) Let's commit this to prayer: “Father, thank You for the new thing You are doing in my life. I receive it and want to see it happen. Bring Your way, create Your stream, through my life to live as You desire and designed me to live. As above, so below.”
Ever wish you could be unbothered—the kind of person who doesn’t spiral when things go sideways? In today’s devotional, Laura Bailey shares a heartfelt story about her friend’s tough day, a voicemail full of frustration, and a powerful moment of conviction from the Holy Spirit. What started as venting turned into a moment of humility—and a reminder that being “unbothered” doesn’t mean we ignore hurt. It means we choose grace over pride. As Romans 12:3 tells us: “For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, by the faith God has distributed to each of you.” (NIV) Let this be your reminder:Being unbothered doesn’t mean you don’t care. It means you care more about the person than the problem. Join the Conversation:Have you ever caught yourself in a moment of venting—only to feel convicted later? What helps you respond with grace instead of reacting with frustration? Let us know @LifeaudioNetwork or by email. We’d love to hear your story.
