YouTube video: http://bit.ly/CapITB Remember how Captain America grew up in Redondo Beach to be a master car thief and generally just failed at most things he did? Yeah, that slipped our minds too until we saw the 1990 low-budget Marvel masterpiece Captain America from the same guy that brought us Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo! But really, this podcast is about a whole lot more than just Steve Rogers and Red Skull! Dive in and drown in our ridiculousness!
YouTube video: https://youtu.be/N6CFd58aF-A Marvel May came and went without any podcasts, but we think Marvel May should be every month! Join us as we take a deeper look into the trouble that the 1986 Lucas/Marvel film Howard the Duck had and hear Jason's opinions on basically everything you've never cared about. We're full of puns, and not so full of enthusiasm for this piece of Jason's childhood.

I. AM. GROOT.We -- Fanboy (Paul Asay) and Know-It-All (Jake Roberson) -- dive into an incredibly fun (and SPOILER-LIGHT [we describe the initial plot set up, but stop there]) conversation about the fantastical Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Not only do we talk about what we liked and didn't like, we dig into what it gets better and worse than its predecessor -- not to mention what we hope happens when the Guardians of the Galaxy slam into the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)....speaking of the MCU, the show kicks off with Jake and Paul celebrating the fact that GotGVol2 is the 15th feature film in the MCU by ranking their Top 5 Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.Elsewhere, Jake brags about being retweeted by none other than Starlord himself (Chris Pratt) and Paul geeks out about Kenneth Branagh remaking "Murder on the Orient Express."("April Showers" by ProleteR is licensed under a Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives [aka Music Sharing] 3.0 International License.)

We’ve declared May to be Marathon Month, where all the movies we watch will be on the same theme! Because we’re stoked for #GotGVol2 opening we’re watching superhero movies of all kinds. Kicking it off is the father of the modern superhero movie franchise, Superman starring Christopher Reeve. In this episode we’ll discuss how frustrating it is that science makes no sense in this movie universe, why Lois Lane is better than we remembered, and that time Katie and Wesleigh went to the Potato Salad Festival.
What the hell happened? That is what we'd like to know in regards to our 'The Evil Dead' episode. Everything was going just fine... until we hit record. Basically, our mic failed. Normally when we record via Skype, we stop and listen to the first few minutes to make sure everything is recording normally. We forgot that step this time. What resulted is an un-listenable episode. Rather than re-record the entire review, we decided to recap what happened as well as cover the newest trailers for Alien: Covenant, Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, and the teaser for Deadpool 2. As this is being typed, our mic is en route back to the manufacturer for replacement. We would love to know what you think of The Evil Dead. Please send your thoughts to reelcomicheroes@gmail.com. Download and Subscribe to our show via iTunes, Stitcher, or your favorite podcast app. If you have a moment, it would be awesome if you could leave us a review.
