In today's second hour, Dom welcomes Sonja Bingham, a community activist in the Kensington and Harrowgate neighborhoods who has taken it upon herself and her group of ‘old lady' friends to help clean up the streets of their neighborhood. Bingham, along with the aptly named ‘Old Lady Gang' regularly checks on public parks and sends away addicts and other vagrants who are bringing horrible issues to public parks including open air drug use and defecation. Sonja tells Giordano the thought process behind cleaning up the parks in such a distressed area, and calls on Philadelphia leaders to follow suit, telling that if old women can do it, so can our elected officials using the powers available to them. Then, Dom welcomes candidate for Senate Dr. Mehmet Oz back onto the Dom Giordano Program for an update on his campaign after visiting Kensington, the neighborhood in Philadelphia regularly making headline news due to its heightened violence and open air drug use. Dr. Oz comes into the interview hot, explaining his frustration and sadness after seeing the situation first hand, telling that he's been to Philadelphia over the years but has never seen a situation on the level of Kensington and how he would fix it if given the power in the upcoming election. Then, Giordano asks Oz about his endorsements, asking the candidate why he believes law enforcement organizations such as the FOP and the State Troopers have decided to endorse him over his opponent John Fetterman.
