It might be hard to believe, but the band Greta Van Fleet have truly created something special. Who would have thought that a little band from nowhere, Michigan would take over the rock universe like this? Sold out shows, number one hits, and a fan base that is absolutely rabid for them. Their concerts are a like a spiritual gathering of opened minded happy people who just want to feel the music hit their souls. I spent some time with the band on their recent tour stop in my hometown of Green Bay, WI, and had a conversation with bassist Sam Kiszka about their fan base, the music, the world they've created and yes even new music and what it might sound like.

Hitting the road with Greta Van Fleet this fall, the guys have struck up a friendship with the Kiszka brothers over the years. Before Goodbye June became a success, they vowed to take the Nashville band on the road with them. Both bands will hit the road and do some European tour dates this fall. Goodbye June had to drudge threw the drudgery to get to where they are right now. Booking their own shows and playing in front of crowds of minimal people in the early going. They stuck with it, perservered and have become a success. Hear about the Nashville music scene, how they benefited from it, and where it ranks among citites with rich music cultures.
