The Chicago Bears have made some major moves that include the trade with the Panthers for multiple draft picks and D.J. Moore. Plus, they added three big-time free agents Tremaine Edmunds, T.J. Edwards and Nate Davis. The team has also made major strides with quality depth signings that make sense for this roster. However, where is Ryan Poles going to find players to fix the glaring holes left on the offensive and defensive lines? Are there any quality free agents left or will the Chicago Bears need to focus on the 2023 NFL Draft?
First-year general manager Ran Carthon leaned heavily on his San Francisco connections at the start of free agency. Three of the first five players with whom the Tennessee Titans agreed to contract terms spent at least one season with the 49ers while Carthon was a member of that front office. They are: inside linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair, edge rusher Arden Key and guard Daniel Brunskill. All three have limited experience as starters in their careers but figure to plug prominent holes in Tennessee's lineup. ... The biggest deal, however, was to former Philadelphia Eagles offensive lineman Andre Dillard. His three-year, $29 million pact makes him the presumed replacement for Taylor Lewan at left tackle even though the 2019 first-round draft pick started just four games in his first four years in the league. ... Defensive lineman Teair Tart and offensive lineman Aaron Brewer were retained with restricted free agent tenders, and defensive lineman Naquan Jones will be back via an exclusive rights free agent tender. ... Linebacker Dvaid Long, defensive lineman Demarcus Walker and right guard Nate Davis agreed to deals with other teams and will move on. Long's departure is most unlikely given his importance to the defense in recent years and the fact that he agreed to surprisingly affordable terms with the Miami Dolphins. ... There is some intrigue with wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, who declined the team's offer of a new contract so that he could weigh his options. If he does sign elsewhere, it will further diminish a wide receiver group that already is woefully short on players and production.

The Atlanta Falcons are looking to complement their young core on offense this offseason via free agency. Aaron Freeman takes over as the Falcons general manager and breaks down the offensive free agents that he would sign to accomplish that mission. First, he discusses the Falcons recently announced coaching changes including notable changes at quarterback, defensive line, and secondary coach. Then, he discusses why he isn't making a big splash at quarterback to replace Desmond Ridder as the starter and how Mitchell Trubisky would be his pick to be Ridder's backup in 2023. Then, he discusses how free agents D'Ernest Johnson, Khari Blasingame, and Corey Davis make for perfect complements to Tyler Allgeier and Drake London at running back, fullback, and wide receiver. Finally, he discusses his crazy idea to completely revamp the offensive line to see if offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford can perform a miracle. He breaks down why he's hesitant to re-sign right tackle Kaleb McGary, how he'd fit Nate Davis and Chris Lindstrom at right guard or elsewhere, and what is the future at left guard and center. The Tennessee Titans should not use their franchise tag this year despite the tag window opening on Tuesday. With only Nate Davis and David Long as candidates, the price for their tags would not make much sense. Players around the NFL who could get the tag include Lamar Jackson and Orlando Brown, but if they aren't tagged or their team is looking to trade them, the Titans should be first in line. Finally, AJ Brown and his exit from Nashville are big topics in the news again. Tyler goes on a rant explaining why it isn't going away any time soon and that makes sense. The Tennessee Titans were featured prominently in 'Bullies of Baltimore,' the latest ESPN 30 for 30 film, because it was Eddie George, Steve McNair and the rest who posed the biggest challenge to the eventual Super Bowl XXXV champions. Included was an allegation from then-Ravens quarterback Trent Dilfer that the Titans stole his playbook during the teams' regular-season encounter in Nashville and used it to great advantage – although not well enough to win – in the playoff game. Denard Walker has vivid memories of that game and the atmosphere that surrounded it and shares his thoughts on what was said. ... The three hosts have similar feelings about which time, the Philadelphia Eagles or Kansas City Chiefs, will win Super Bowl LVII, but they have different feelings about how competitive a contest it will be. ... Finally, before the 2023 NFL Draft happens, Titans executives will have to revisit the 2019 draft and decide whether they want to – and/or can afford to – two keep pending free agents, guard Nate Davis and linebacker David Long. The Tennessee Titans have a lot of questions on the offensive line this offseason and one of the biggest is whether they will re-sign pending free agent Nate Davis. According to team beat writer, it would be a surprise if Davis is brought back. Tyler thinks that report is surprising more than anything. Also, if Nate Davis is not re-signed, what do the Titans do with his open spot? Potentially we could see a move for Nicholas Petit-Frere who had an up and down year at tackle in his rookie season.
