November 21, 2025 - Season 16, Episode 53 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers as they prepare to play the Chicago Bears on Sunday afternoon at Soldier Field. Alex and I start this show by looking at the Steelers' Thursday injury report and specifically, what the current outlook is for QB Aaron Rodgers, RB Jaylen Warren, and OLB Alex Highsmith. We discuss the contraption that Rodgers wore on his injured left wrist on Thursday and he reportedly looked as a limited practice participant. We move forward from Pittsburgh's injury report heading into Friday to look briefly at the injured players that Chicago is currently dealing with. On Thursday, we once again heard from two of the Steelers' coordinators, Arthur Smith and Teryl Austin, so Alex and I recap the main talking points to come out of those media sessions. We discuss Smith possibly adding a wrinkle to the team's version of the tush push, how he feels about using RB Jaylen Warren and RB Kenneth Gainwell in any situation, and what it would take for rookie RB Kaleb Johnson to get more touches moving forward. As for Austin's Thursday comments, we discuss what he had to say about CB Cory Trice Jr. now being out for the rest of the season. We also talk about what Austin had to say about OLB Nick Herbig and OLB Jack Sawyer. We also go over Austin's thoughts on preparing to defend against Bears QB Caleb Williams on Sunday in Chicago. We welcome Adam Hoge of All City as a first timer to the show on Friday, and he helps us preview the Steelers-Bears game. Hoge has covered the Bears for many seasons, and he certainly knows that team inside and out. We get his thoughts on several things related to the Sunday afternoon game in Chicago and that includes his analysis of Williams and new HC Ben Johnson. Adam fills us in on the Bears' injuries, how CB Jaylon Johnson might be back this week and the impact that could potentially have. We also get his thoughts on Rodgers potentially playing on Sunday against the Bears, a team that he has a lot of history and success against dating back to when he was the longtime quarterback for the Green Bay Packers. Adam talks about the Bears' offense and defense quite a bit in this interview, and we get his not-yet-set-in-stone prediction for the Sunday game at the end of the interview. Op deze verkiezingsdag bespreekt Tina uiteraard ook gewoon het andere tv-nieuws, beantwoordt ze nieuwe tv-vragen en deelt ze haar kijktip.

Satan verleidt ons om een oppervlakkig leven te leiden, maar God verleidt ons om hogerop te komen. Eén van de ergste vergissingen die we kunnen maken is zelfingenomen te worden door te denken dat wat we nu hebben goed genoeg is, of het beste is wat we kunnen bereiken. Het hebben van lage verwachtingen houdt ons tegen, omdat God alleen door ons kan doen wat we denken dat Hij kan doen. Wees op je hoede om geestelijk niet op een ‘oképlek' te belanden. Ik wil niet gemiddeld zijn, want ik dien geen gemiddelde God. God is een excellente God en ik wil Zijn voorbeeld volgen. En zoals het Bijbelgedeelte hierboven zegt, we kunnen alles winnen wat de wereld te bieden heeft maar tenslotte het gezegende leven die Hij voor ons heeft, verliezen. Een oppervlakkig leven heeft een hoge prijs. Niets is het waard om het wonderbaarlijke, vredige, vreugdevolle, rechtvaardige, heilige leven die we in Christus hier op aarde kunnen hebben op te geven. Als je je leven doorbrengt om Gods wil te weerstaan en je eigen weg verkiest te gaan, zul je een oppervlakkig leven leiden. God wil dat je gezegend bent, maar Hij wil niet dat je probeert om hierin zelf te voorzien. Hij wil niet dat je zoekt naar dingen of dingen boven Hem plaatst. Weet dat als we eerst God en Zijn Koninkrijk zoeken, wij alle zegeningen zullen ontvangen die Hij voor ons in petto heeft. En dat is een overvloedig leven leiden!
