Are some in the black community playing the blame game when in fact we should be blaming ourselves. Ferguson and Staten Island incidents prove racism. Brown was far from a model citizen. He pilfered cigars from a convenience store and then bullied the proprietor when he tried to stop him. Then, he and a friend walked down the middle of the street, a stupid and dangerous practice. Officer Wilson asked him to use the sidewalk because of the situation, not because Brown was trolling innocently along while being black as the media would have one believe. Instead of complying, Brown escalated the situation by back-talking. I agree the number of shots fired sounds excessive, but a grand jury after reviewing all the evidence found otherwise. Staten Island, There was excessive force, was not a racial thing either as the victim's own daughter so stated. Why do we want to make every cop-suspect into a racial event? There is a target on every young black man's back indeed! Maybe if we didn't commit crimes out of proportion to other people in society, the police wouldn't view us with such suspicion. Why don't we own the fact that some of us need to change our behavior in order to gain respect.  Racism does exist but so does the lack of respect for our representation in public. This story was written on the internet. I thought it pointed out some problems we have in our community. So I took it and made it into how I felt it should have been written. So here is the link to the oringnal story. http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/article/20141217/Opinion/141216655/?Start=2#sthash.z6EKlKEK.dpuf

...Dammit, past me, stop breathing on the mic. "For the benefit of anyone listening to this long after the fact, or anybody actively avoiding news sources because they like having a positive outlook on life and wish to preserve it, I will now go over all the facts of the shooting of Michael Brown. On August 9, 2014, an 18-year-old man Michael Brown was fatally shot by Darren Wilson, a Ferguson Police Department officer. As far as I can tell, these are the only facts anybody agrees on. There has been a great deal of outrage, not only in media but in the streets of Ferguson, Missouri where this took place, from people who feel the shooting was a complete travesty and the height of injustice. Others argue that based on the evidence, the officer was justified in shooting his assailant, and that the outrage stems from people trying to make the whole case about race. The unarmed suspect in this case was black, and the officer was white. Thus, the powder keg was lit. Months later, and now over a week removed from the grand jury decision not to indict Officer Wilson, I’m still not in possession of all the facts of this case. I don’t care to go searching for them either. Rather than hoping in vain to piece together a clearer picture of the reality of that night, and rather than spouting any more uninformed nonsense about this case, I want to try to shed some light on the underlying complex social issues at play here. That said, I did see fit to spout uninformed nonsense about this case way back in August when the events were still pretty recent and genuine facts were lacking, and the only news source I saw fit to trust on the matter was one mister John Oliver. Recently, I’ve written a mostly serious commentary that I think cuts to the heart of the matter, but before I share that here, I thought this old rant would be worth sharing again for the added context it provides, both in terms of the case itself and my personal feelings on it, which have continued to evolve since this rant was recorded. This isn’t going to be nearly as serious as the subject matter likely calls for, but in cases like this I kind of need to laugh sometimes to keep from crying. So, if you’ll forgive my awful sense of humor and poor timing, here is my original rant about the terrible events this past summer in Ferguson, Missouri."   (Backing music for this episode was created by the wonderfully luminescent, splendidly fragrant, and superbly coniferous Danny Baranowsky, originally part of the soundtrack to The Binding of Isaac. We originally had a totally different topic set for tonight's show, but after the unfortunate chain of events that took place on Monday, November 24th, we HAD to postpone our original topic to next week and cover this tragic event. Officer Darren Wilson faced Indictment for the fatal shooting of 18 year old Mike Brown and after a Grand Jury finished deliberating, they decided not to indict Officer Wilson on any of the charges he faced which included: 1st Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Murder, Voluntary Manslaughter and Involuntary Manslaughter. Officer Darren Wilson never faced one day of jail time for gunning down Michael Brown in cold blood after which Mike Brown was left lying face down in the middle of the street in front of the citizens of Ferguson for 4 hours before his body was eventually taken away. If it were a regular citizen that gunned down Michael Brown but claimed "Self Defense" as Officer Darren Wilson claimed, do you think he would've had to face a Grand Jury just to see if he would get indicted, or do you think he would've been immediately arrested, indicted, and would've had to await trial to plead his innocence? Trayvon Martin, Jordan Davis, Eric Garner, Mike Brown, and those are just some of the High Profiled Cases. The list sadly goes on and on. The question is when is it enough, and when will justice finally prevail on the black side of the coin for a change? Why are people given a License To Kill Blacks? What is the Justice System going to do to ensure the safety, protection, and well-being of the Black African American and other non-white citizens? These thoughts and views along with plenty of others will strongly and unbiasedly be expressed tonight, so make sure you don't miss out because it's about to get realer than ever on It's Real Talk Radio! On Monday November 24th the Grand Jury chose not to indict Ferguson, Mo., police officer Darren Wilson for any crimes related to the death of 18-year-old Michael Brown in August. Wilson, who is white, shot and killed Brown, who was unarmed and black, in an Aug. 9 incident that has stoked anger and debate in Ferguson and beyond. Public reaction was both swift and mixed, with reports of police using smoke to disperse crowds in some areas, while in others, protesters marched peacefully. Close to where Brown was killed in Ferguson, police officers were reportedly hit with rocks, bottles and batteries. A patrol car was set on fire. I'm chomping at the bit today! Ladies and gentlemen, I cannot wait to get the show started because we are jam packed full of news today. One of the best things that happened was the Royals won 7 - 2 over the Giants last night. Complete and total turnaround from game one! We looked sharp. How about that pitching? We’ve got some talent and it was fun to watch.Moving on, let’s lead off with some ebola news. Family: Amber Vinson free of Ebola virushttp://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/10/22/ebola-amber-vinson-recovery/17742417/The family also said that the 29-year-old nurse, who contracted the virus from Liberian Thomas Eric Duncan, was regaining strength and that her spirits were high."We are overjoyed to announce that, as of yesterday evening, officials at Emory University Hospital and the Centers for Disease Control (and Prevention) are no longer able to detect virus in her body," the family said in a statement hours after Vinson spoke with her mother, Debra Berry.Dallas nurse, Amber Vinson, free of ebola. Now, keep in mind, this means nothing at all. The CDC is saying that 900,000 people will die of ebola. We have an epidemic, according to the CDC and the news media. Officially, we have gone from 3 ebola patients to 1 ebola patient. And, just released, 43 potential ebola patients now ebola free.It seems to be things are fairly under control. Unfortunately, that can’t be the case because that’s not what the CDC says. According to the CDC, it’s a death sentence. What’s funny is that they don’t say whether it’s an airborne virus or not. What they say is, we can’t confirm that it’s not. So, naturally, that’s just designed to strike fear into the hearts of man. It’s so not an issue and it’s just frustrating to me that we keep on having to have this discussion. This is designed to do nothing more than to create fear and panic in you. And we’re not going to do that. Further, an autopsy report suggested that there was a “significant altercation at the car.”The alleged account of Ferguson officer Darren Wilson, who fatally shot Brown, was also included in Tuesday night’s explosive reports. If you remember several weeks ago, I talked about the rioters destroying their own town, burning down their own convenience stores. Well, there’s new evidence out today that proves that Michael Brown had THC in his system. His urine and his blood showed THC in his system, which would explain a lot because one of the things that I’ve never understood about the the shooting and what happened was what would cause a kid if he sees the cops, what would possess him to run to the cop, punch him in the face while he’s in his vehicle, reach in, try to grab his gun and then ultimately get shot. And then what would possess him after being shot to then turn around and continue to confront the officer.Well, now we find out. There’s a reasonable explanation for it.It’s because he was hopped up on THC.On Wednesday, protesters went into the police station to demand justice saying “if we don’t get justice here, we’ll get it on the streets.” I think that somebody needs to explain what justice means because apparently justice to the protesters is convicting a man of murder with absolutely no substantiating evidence whatsoever. Apparently, justice to these individuals is ignoring all of the facts and looking only at the individual’s race. And making your determination as to their guilt or innocence based on the color of their skin. Now, in my mind, that’s racism. But it turns out that they in fact are storming police stations now threatening that if they don’t get justice, which i’m assuming is a conviction of Officer Wilson where he goes to prison regardless of the evidence of the crime, that that’s the only thing that will suffice in terms of justice. That that in their mind is justice. And I say, what kind of world are we living in?Again, the protesters that are out there, this has nothing to do about justice for Michael Brown. It’s important that you understand that. None of this has to do with justice for Michael Brown. What they may have is they may have complaints about the Ferguson Police Department and those complaints may be justified. But this is not the case that you use to justify and to let out your anger because this case has absolutely nothing to do with justice. What I’m saying is, there may be merit to the argument. But they’re pinning, they’re hitching their wagon to a lost cause. Michael Brown died because he was a criminal who apparently was on drugs and who had just got done robbing a convenience store. Then he attacked in officer and was shot dead. If you’re a protester, this is not who you’ll want to be hitching your wagon to. This is not the one you want to make your stand on.There is police corruption all throughout the United States. Go find that. Go find the real corruption. Go find the real Black kid who was gunned down for no good reason. I just saw an article, police raided the wrong house and a 7 year old kid was murdered by the police after they raided the wrong house, shot dead in their bed. This happens every day. Go protest that. Don’t protest this. This makes you look bad. Canada's parliament attacked, soldier fatally shot nearbyhttp://www.reuters.com/article/2014/10/22/us-canada-attacks-shooting-idUSKCN0IB1PY20141022Canadian officials identify shooter in brazen attack on Parliament complexhttp://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/10/22/soldier-shot-at-war-memorial-near-canadian-parliament/There was a mass shooting at Canada’s parliament and before this shooting occurred, there was a shooting at a memorial where two soldiers shot, one was wounded and one was killed.
