Dear God I'm Grateful For Persistent Prayers.“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” - Ephesians 6:18 NLT.A mentor of mine often says that God knows what you're asking for when he sees what you're working for. Our prayers are heard by our Heavenly Father, but we must also put the work in and be persistent in prayer and action..When Jesus taught the disciples how to pray the Lord's Prayer, he gave them one of the greatest weapons they could use on a daily basis. “Then, teaching them more about prayer, he used this story: .“Suppose you went to a friend's house at midnight, wanting to borrow three loaves of bread. You say to him, ‘A friend of mine has just arrived for a visit, and I have nothing for him to eat.' And suppose he calls out from his bedroom, ‘Don't bother me. The door is locked for the night, and my family and I are all in bed. I can't help you.' But I tell you this—though he won't do it for friendship's sake, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence. .“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.” - Luke 11:5-10 NLT.This is also the case with us when we pray, for persistent prayers WILL open doors. It's one thing to pray once and forget about it, but when we are persistent and consistent in our prayer life, we will witness the manifestation of our prayers, build our faith in the process, and receive blessings and gifts that can only come from the power of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. .“You can pray for anything, and if you have faith, you will receive it.”” - Matthew 21:22 NLT.*If you need prayer for anything, please let me know! I'd be happy to pray with you and add you to my prayer list! .#Linkinbio #DearGodImGrateful #IronWifey #DGIG #persistentprayer #pray #needprayer #prayerwarriors #faith #gratitudechallenge #Jesus #Ironwifeymagazine #God #ironwifeypodcastnetwork #christianpodcast #podcastersofinstagram #podcast .STAY UP-TO-DATE WITH ALL THINGS IRONWIFEY:Instagram: @deargodimgrateful | @ironwifey_ | @ironwifeymagazineTwitter: @ironwifey_Facebook: IronWifeyIronWifey Magazine & Podcasts: https://www.ironwifeymagazine.comPlease Rate & Review, Like , Comment, & Subscribe!FEATURED MUSIC: Track: SkyHigh — Enine [Audio Library Release]Music provided by Audio Library PlusWatch: https://youtu.be/q-lf6x9cVXwFree Download / Stream: https://alplus.io/skyhigh

Tuesday @ 8am "Winning our Family to the Lord" Mark 5:18-19 NIV 18] As Jesus was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. 19] Jesus did not let him, but said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.” THINGS WE NEED TO DO TO WIN OUR FAMILY. 1. PERSISTENT PRAYERS. Romans 10:1-2 (NLT) Dear brothers and sisters, the longing of my heart and my prayer to God is that the Jewish people might be saved. I know what enthusiasm they have for God, but it is misdirected zeal. 2. BUILD CONNECTIONS. 1 Corinthians 9:19-23 NIV 19] Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20] To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21] To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. 22] To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. 23] I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. 3. CHANGE YOUR LANGUAGE. Proverbs 10:11 (NIV) The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. Proverbs 15:1 (NLT) A gentle answer turns away wrath, but harsh words stir up anger. Proverbs 15:4 (NLT) Gentle words bring life and health; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit. 4. SERVE YOUR FAMILY. 1 Corinthians 9:19 (NLT) This means I am not bound to obey people just because they pay me, yet I have become a servant of everyone so that I can bring them to Christ. 1 Corinthians 9:19 NIV Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 1 Mga Taga-Corinto 9:19 Malaya ako at di alipin nin
Jesus told a parable with the message of always praying and not losing hope. Many misunderstand the message because they don't understand the rabbinical teaching method that Jesus was employing. The contrasts Jesus makes should give us all hope that our prayers are heard by our loving heavenly Father.

His most famous line should find its way to our lips also..."Speak Lord, for your servant is listening." Bible References: I Samuel 1: 9-28; 3: 1-22
