Srimad Bhagavatam [Bhagwat Katha] – Part 29 | Swami Mukundananda Swamiji narrates the delightful Makhan Chori leelas of Shree Krishna in Braj. As a toddler, Krishna began stealing butter — first from His own home and then from the houses of the gopis. Even when caught, His playful innocence and enchanting smile melted every heart. The gopis complained to Mother Yashoda about His clever tricks — breaking pots, forming a band of friends, and outsmarting those who tried to trap Him. Yet beneath every complaint was deep affection. Swamiji explains that Krishna does not steal butter — He steals hearts. Through these sweet pastimes, He teaches that divine love grows through intimacy, joy, and loving surrender. About Swami Mukundananda: Swami Mukundananda is a renowned spiritual leader, Vedic scholar, Bhakti saint, best‑selling author, and an international authority on the subject of mind management. He is the founder of the unique yogic system called JKYog. Swamiji holds distinguished degrees in Engineering and Management from IIT and IIM. Having taken the renounced order of life (sanyas), he is the senior disciple of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj, and has been sharing Vedic wisdom across the globe for decades.

Anke Richter — international journalist, author of Cult Trip, and founder of Decult — delivers a clear and uncompromising message about how high-control groups silence their critics. Before Decult's 2024 cult awareness conference, there was fear about even mentioning the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church because of their reputation for litigation. But the truth was spoken anyway.Anke lays bare the reality survivors face: the shame, the stigma, the loss of privacy, the trauma triggers, the therapy bills — and then the legal threats. Most survivors don't have publishers or lawyers backing them. They speak out alone. And they pay the price. She calls out the brutality of using “big legal guns” against activists and survivors, especially when it comes from charities acting as the PR front of a coercive religious group. Her message is simple: this is about power, intimidation, and silencing. And she will not shut up about it.To every podcaster, YouTuber, and public speaker being bullied for telling the truth — Kia Kaha. Stand tall. Decult stands with you.#Decult #plymouthbrethrenchristianchurch #pbcc #rapidreliefteam #oneschoolglobal #cultawareness #cultescape #cult #csasurvivor

Thirty years ago, Matt Friedman, CEO and founder of The Mekong Club, worked as a senior USAID public health official across Asia, focused on education and prevention of HIV/AIDS in small rural communities. As part of Matt's work, he visited many shelters where he repeatedly heard the same themes of horror. His first interview was with a fifteen-year-old girl telling him she was sexually abused over seven thousand times. She did this for two years until she was forced to leave because she suffered from various diseases that turned customers away.Matt soon realised that, just as this young girl had been exploited for sex, millions more were being exploited across the world. This exploitation was happening in the sex industry but also permeates global supply chains, from factories to farms to fishing boats.Matt began to work in the United Nations in the anti-trafficking world, where he worked closely with the public and private sectors across Asia. During his tenure, he noticed a gap in engagement with the private sector in their anti-trafficking efforts. Not because they didn't want to, but because they feared being named or shamed for approaching a UN official to ask for help.As a result, Matt left the United Nations and started The Mekong Club in Asia's financial centre, Hong Kong, to provide a safe space for companies worldwide to work together to help identify and eliminate forced labour in the private sector. Athena Brownson is no stranger to pain. As a former professional skier, she sustained so many injuries, her doctors warned that if she kept it up, she'd have to have her knees replaced before she was 30. After she retired, she found success as a Realtor in the Denver area, and all was great until Athena was hit with a major medical setback. Lyme Disease threatened her bodily peace, her mental peace, her work, everything. The daily pain was debilitating, and yet, she while she was no stranger to pain, she was also no stranger to resilience. That resilience can be seen in her discussion with Max. It's inspiring, to say the least. For more from Athena: AthenaBrownsonRealtor.com Instagram: @athenabrownsonrealtor For More From Sober Coach/Substance Abuse Counselor Max Njist, visit MaxNijst.org

Brandon Lake’s Powerful Message After Charlie Kirk Service | Mundo Clip 9-25-25See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We are just shy of two weeks since Charlie Kirk was assassinated. Charlie sought to dialogue with those who disagreed to prove him wrong. Those who hated him, hated him fiercely for his beliefs, both his conservative political beliefs, which flowed from his spiritual beliefs, but also his belief in Christianity and Jesus Christ. However, Charlie was not about riots and uprisings; he believed in dialogue. This was the very matter as you'll hear in an audio clip of Van Jones as he sat with Anderson Cooper to describe his relationship with Charlie Kirk last week on CNN. Next, Jim referenced a New York Post article that noted how some 200,000 people turned out to honor Charlie Kirk on Sunday, including President Trump, who called Charlie a "patriot who's heart still had so much to give." State Farm stadium had a capacity of 73,000 yet filled up within hours. Next up were members of President Trump's Administration who were not shy when talking about the spiritual impact of Charlie. This included audio clips from Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Vice President J.D. Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio. While many Crosstalk listeners may have heard Erika Kirk's address, there are many who have not. Jim shared it in its entirety courtesy of TPUSA.com along with final comments from Christian apologist Frank Turek and Charlie's pastor, Rob McCoy.
- Erica Kirk delivers an emotional and composed tribute, forgiving her husband's killer before a stadium of nearly 100,000 people. - Critics and political opponents continue to attack Charlie Kirk's legacy, drawing sharp contrasts with the outpouring of support. - Donald Trump, Tucker Carlson, Marco Rubio, and more, all honoring Charlie Kirk in an unprecedented event. - Charlie Kirk is gone, but his mission explodes with new life — 62,000 chapters of Turning Point USA are now on the rise. Exactly one week ago, Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA was shot and killed while giving an address at Utah Valley University. Tributes of various kinds have been pouring in worldwide. Jim began this edition of Crosstalk with one such tribute as he presented audio from Vice President J.D. Vance who hosted the Charlie Kirk Show this past Monday. Jim then segued into audio from Charlie's wife, Erika, who with amazing strength and courage, spoke last Friday evening to Turning Point USA supporters, just a little over 48 hours after the shooting. Jim followed Erika's address with news headlines related to the shooting. After this, the phone lines were opened for several minutes to allow listeners the opportunity to express their thoughts to round out the broadcast.

What we cover: A full rundown of the attack: where and how Charlie Kirk was killed, what's known about the shooter, and how law enforcement is responding. Statements from Utah Governor Spencer Cox, who described the killing as a “political assassination” and called for Americans to confront growing hate, radicalization, and threats to free speech. Remarks from President Donald Trump: his condemnation of the killing, his view of political rhetoric's role in fueling violence, and what he's promising in response. A discussion on violent rhetoric in today's political climate: how language escalates before violence, how ideologies become radicalized, and why public figures' messaging matters. Ideas and proposals for how we can stop the spread of hate, bridge divides, rebuild norms of civil discourse, and come together as a nation in mourning and mutual responsibility. Why this matters: This isn't just about a single tragedy. It's a signal of how polarized, toxic discourse can turn deadly — especially on college campuses, where free speech, debate, and ideas clash. The consequences ripple out: in politics, on social media, in communities. Understanding the hows and the whys is essential if we want to prevent future violence. Join us today as we confront the uncomfortable truths, ask the hard questions, and try to find a path forward in a moment that demands more than politics.
