Happy New Year! EZ off till Monday,1/5/26. Enjoy two Patreon encore "Who Are These Free Beers?" shows.Sign up at Patreon.com/ericzane to get access to tons more!Show Notes from ep 12: Taylor Swift Song or Bath & Body Works: A Breakdown*Ben choose to dive into a very dark place...he reviewed our heroes playing a hot new game called, "Taylor Swift Song or Bath & Body Works." The idea is that Maitland will give you a clue...and the gang has to guess whether it's a Taylor Swift song or a product from Bath & Body Works! Sound good? Of course not! Away we go!*After processing that garbage, EZ got down to business with a new compilation of the weirdo, shriek-filled noises Kelly Cheese has made recently on the show. *EZ also covered another set of words that The Burn King said that made zero sense.*Next, it was time to unpack HW story of smashing into his own garage. As usual, HW took the long way around, but hey, you can never have too much backstory. *Not to be out "boring storied," we went back to Free Beer for some long-winded basketball minutiae. Nothing like the history of the NBA leading up to a 30 second clip with very little payoff! But who cares!!! "The ratings have never been higher!" Show Notes from ep 13: Clown Show*EZ shared some bad news with Ben Glaze.*Ben drops a clip where EZ has to figure out what one of the crew is actually saying.*We came to the conclusion that the shows we reviewed were heavily saturated with lots of talk about food...specifically, the difference between hot dogs and sausage.*The crew segues from talking about sausage v hot dogs to talking about clothing...without context.*EZ is amazed with how the show is popular with some of the most mundane subject matter ever discussed on the radio.*The "Around the Room" segment then features another Free Beer attempt at making his ex wife jealous by spending significant time wishing new Mrs. Free Beer "happy birthday."*Free Beer tough talks sushi.*The parade of food talk continues as the crew breaks down quiche.*EZ has an idea to keep Kelly from screeching so much.*The gang reviewed an old instructional video for aspiring clowns. It was full of "do's and don'ts" for clowns who want to perform at old-folks homes. FB throws out some jokes, that are actually not the worst...but he gets nothing from his quiet co workers.*After EZ and Ben review the clown video segment, they took a hard look at one of the most pointless things that FBHW have ever done..."Maitland's Kohls Game." This game is a huge pile of shit. Why Gregg and Maitland insist on giving the boring backstory of this debacle is beyond me, or anyone who hears it. To top it all off, the game is a carbon copy of all they're other games...Just yell shit out and laugh hysterically. Happy New Year! EZ off till Monday,1/5/26. Enjoy two Patreon encore "Who Are These Free Beers?" shows.Show Notes from ep 10: Thin Skin*Dad Free Beer was away for court or something else, so the crew had to soldier on without "The Burn King", and boy did they! Ben Glaze takes a deep dive on the on-air brainstorming/ workshop that the crew had, to determine weirdo rules for their trivia game that everyone hates. *What the gang settled on showed some real proof about "how they've grown."*It wouldn't be an episode of "WATFB?" if we didn't get assurance that Greg "was just kidding."*HW and FB butted heads over something silly. It seems the "3 on 1" formula with some mild ball- busting was all Greg could handle, and he raged out on HW.Show Notes from ep 11: Hair Today, Gone TomorrowIn this show:*EZ and Ben unpacked Free Beer's new hair style.*Ben parked on a cool segment that the crew did that had FB asking the gang questions like: "How often do you make your bed?" and "How often do you take a shower" and "How often do you brush your teeth?" Also, there's a plot twist that Ben reveals at the end of this hot topic.*The gang "goes to Funco Town" with a cute story about Free Beer's kid liking Funco Pops. Meanwhile, Kelly goes to "Crispy R Town."*Once again, Free Beer keeps it between the lines by letting the world know that, "he's just kidding."*The multi-talented Maitland doses us with a killer line that leaves the room gasping for air with laughter.*Kelly shocks Steve, who's disgusted with her potty-talk. Interestingly, Kelly's line was actually pretty damn funny! Props!*EZ featured a classic FBHW "joke tag" moment. We explain what "joke tagging" is and you'll see a great example of it in this chuckle-war with the subject being "treats at my local Ace Hardware."*We've added a couple more entries to our FB, "I'm just kidding" montage. Our Sponsors:* Check out Secret Nature and use my code ZANE for a great deal: https://secretnature.comSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-eric-zane-show-podcast/donationsAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Tune in to the final Suite Spot episode of 2025 with our annual Year in Review retrospective episode with Travel Media Group President, Dana Singer. Learn about the highlights that took place this year for the organization and what our hotel partners and Suite Spot audience can look forward to as we prepare for 2026. Ryan Embree: Welcome to Suite Spot, where hoteliers check in, and we check out what's trending in hotel marketing. I'm your host, Ryan Embree. Hello everyone. Welcome to another episode of The Suite Spot for an annual tradition. One of my favorite episodes. We were talking about this off camera, about how many years in a row it's been that we've done this, but it's such a cool time, obviously, end of the year, beginning of a new year, such a time for reflection. And, you know, looking into the future and with me today is a very familiar guest president at Travel Media Group, Dana Singer. Dana, thank you so much for joining me back on the Suite Spot. Dana Singer: Absolutely. Good morning, Ryan. Ryan Embree: From the comfy confines of our TMG headquarters and Maitland. So grateful for you having the opportunity to join me on the sweet spot too. You know, look at TMG year in review. We do this every single year. Dana 2025 has been an exciting year. It's been a year of innovation, productivity success, obviously on the Travel Media Group side, but more importantly for our hospitality partners. And I'd like to start by just kind of reflecting on this past year and sharing how TMG has grown as a company, but also how those efforts have made meaningful contributions to our hotel partners. Dana Singer: Yeah, sure. 2025 has definitely been a successful year for Travel Media Group. We celebrated a number of milestones, but most importantly, as you just said, you know, for our hotel partners that we collaborate with and support every single day, it's been really exciting to see their growth. One of the most significant markers of our progress this year has been the expansion of our teams. Increasing the depth of new talent across multiple departments has strengthened our ability to deliver the level of service our partners rely on. And it's been inspiring to see fresh perspectives join our longstanding expertise. Everyone's working together towards the same mission. It's all about delivering industry leading solutions and an outstanding client experience every step of the way. Internally, our goal is to anticipate the industry's needs, and based on that, we've developed new solutions. We refined our existing services, and we've continued to advance our technology. Every innovation has centered on the question, how can we empower our partners to achieve their goals? And our commitment has always been to help hoteliers succeed. And we achieve this by innovating without compromise. And in 2025, I believe we've done so in more meaningful ways than ever. Dana Singer: It's so cool to see and to, quite frankly, to be a part of, to see the success of our hotel partners, new partners coming on board, um, along with new team members here at TMG, helping our partners, succeed and achieve those milestones and goals. Because I've had several guests on this podcast talk about the guest expectations and how not only are they rising, but they're becoming more complex, especially with the integration of technology, it's becoming faster than ever. The pace and acceleration of these guest expectations. And the same applies to, you know, our hotel partners. How has TMG kind of maintained to stay one step ahead and really positioned itself as the leader as we try to enhance the guest experience in our services at TMG? Dana Singer: Yeah, I mean, exceeding guest expectations is the foundation of success in hospitality. So it's vital that we not only adapt, but we anticipate what hoteliers will need next. And this year, innovation has once again been at the center of our business strategies.
Christmas holidays mean family time, often with extended family travel and visits. Meals are prepared, gifts are given, memories are made. But the memories might not all be good. Sometimes there are Christmas hurts or even tragedies. We live in a world still affected by sin. The sinfulness of the world cannot rob us of the peace God intends to bring through his Son. Christ the Savior is born, and through his life, God brings us into the family. He gives us the rights of redeemed sons and daughters, the privileges of inheritance.Support the showMessages from the King is produced by King of Kings Lutheran Church in Maitland, FL.To find out more about King of Kings... Emmanuel is an important person. “Emmanuel” means “God with us.” It was a special name given to Jesus already 700 years before he was born. Who is with us when Jesus is with us? God himself. God became a human being in a special way, becoming truly human but remaining God. God is still with us. We encounter him in a special way when we gather with two or three others in worship. He is so near to us that the thrill of anticipation is almost unbearable. The Messiah is an important person. “Messiah” is the same word as “Christ” or “Anointed One.” He issomeone who has been anticipated for a long time. Now we look at a time when his arrival is imminent! The historic Christian Church gave Latin titles to each Sunday. They titled the Third Sunday in Advent“Gaudete,” which means “Rejoice!” As we reach the midway point of Advent, we ask Christ to empowerus to do just that. In this Dailycast episode of Wrestling Coast to Coast, Chris Maitland and Justin McClelland review NWA Exodus Pro Wrestling's Journ3y, one of the stranger wrestling shows we've covered. There's a very traditional title match between Dante Casanova and Richard Holliday, but also the Holy Atonement match with PB Smooth & Pastor C-lo against the Slimeballz & Carson Drake, featuring the unleashing of Holy Chaos. There's also the Strictly Business Convoluted Independent Multi-Man match which, if nothing else, provides full truth in advertising. Kirsten Maitland, co-founder and "CheeseMaster" of the critically acclaimed Rebel Cheese, recently joined The Ash Said It Show to pull back the curtain on the brand's meteoric rise. From military discipline to the largest vegan brie cavein the country, Maitland shared the surprising secrets behind her Shark Tank success and how she's converting die-hard dairy lovers one creamy, cultured wheel at a time. This episode is a must-listen for anyone interested in vegan food innovation, conscious business growth, and the power of a daring career pivot. Maitland was clear that the brand's success in creating the "world's best artisan vegan brie" comes from rejecting modern shortcuts. The company's commitment to traditional cheesemaking techniques—including the use of a temperature and humidity-controlled vegan brie cave—is non-negotiable. This meticulous aging process, she explained, is essential for cultivating the complex, "funky" flavor profiles and genuine textures that simply cannot be achieved with food science alone. The shocking truth? Most of Rebel Cheese's customers are not vegan. Maitland credited this conversion success to two key factors: flavor and familiarity. The cheeses are designed to function exactly like their dairy counterparts—they slice, melt, and hold up on a dairy-free charcuterie board. By focusing on replicating beloved classics like their Smoked Cheddar and Cave-Aged Brie, Rebel Cheese removes the intimidating element of the unknown for traditional cheese lovers. What non-obvious skill does a former Navy veteran entrepreneur bring to making plant-based cheese? Protocol Adherence and Adaptability. Maitland revealed that her experience as an Operations Specialist and later an Agile Coach in Big Tech taught her to build robust, repeatable processes (critical for food safety and quality control) while maintaining the agility to quickly iterate on recipes and scale production. This structure is the unseen foundation that supports the brand's artisanal quality at a mass scale. The Shark Tank investment from Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner caused an "explosion" in e-commerce orders. Maitland explained that scaling meant implementing a modular production system. Rather than sacrificing the small-batch, handcrafted process, they replicated it. They invested in equipment to handle the raw material processing (cashews) efficiently, but kept the culturing, aging, and finishing of the cheese strictly hands-on, ensuring the artisanal standard remains in every wheel shipped nationwide. Beyond the capital and media boost, Maitland's most valuable takeaway was the need for ruthless strategic focus. The Sharks' scrutiny forced the team to prioritize the most scalable, high-margin products—the ones that truly "rebelled" against expectations—allowing them to streamline their offerings and dominate the premium plant-based cheese market. In a transparent discussion, Maitland addressed the realities of running a high-growth business while staying true to its values. She emphasized that balancing the "values-led" mission with the demands of a "financially sustainable small business" requires transparent communication and strategic operational contractionswhen necessary. The core principle, she stated, is integrity—in their product, their financials, and their public messaging. Maitland sees the next major hurdle for high-end vegan food innovation not in replicating flavor, but in achieving price parity with dairy. The strategy for Rebel Cheese is to leverage increased volume and better supply chain relationships to drive down the cost of premium ingredients, ultimately making gourmet dairy-free foods accessible to the mass market and leading the charge into a truly plant-powered future. Web: https://rebelcheese.com Rebel Cheese is the critically acclaimed, Austin, Texas-based gourmet food company and brick-and-mortar bistro that is revolutionizing the plant-based cheese industry. Founded by the dynamic, globe-trotting duo, Kirsten Maitland and Fred Swar, Rebel Cheese has successfully challenged the notion that high-quality, artisanal cheese requires dairy, becoming a globally recognized brand in the vegan food and dairy-free charcuterie space. The brand was born out of co-founder Kirsten Maitland's personal journey to find flavorful, satisfying, and sophisticated vegan cheese alternatives after adopting a plant-based diet. She recognized a massive gap in the market: while basic dairy-free cheeses existed, none truly captured the complex textures, sharp flavors, and aging processes of traditional European cheeses. Rebel Cheese's mission is simple yet audacious: to create handcrafted, gourmet plant-based cheeses that are indistinguishable from their dairy counterparts in taste, texture, and melting properties. They achieve this by using old-world cheesemaking techniques—including culturing, aging, and ripening—but substituting cow or goat milk with a base of organic cashew milk and fava bean protein. Rebel Cheese gained massive national attention after appearing on the hit show Shark Tank. The company impressed the notoriously skeptical investors, with billionaire Mark Cuban quickly becoming an investor after declaring their products, particularly the Brie, tasted exactly like traditional cheese. For customers outside of Texas, Rebel Cheese ships its artisanal cheeses and curated gift boxes nationwide, bringing its award-winning plant-based cheese directly to consumers across the country. Dr. Robert Quartermain, Co-Chairman, Director and CEO of Dakota Gold (NYSE American: DC), joined us for an update, live from the New Orleans Investment Conference, on their Richmond Hill Project and Maitland Gold Project. Both projects are located in the historic Homestake District of South Dakota, near existing mining infrastructure. The company is advancing its Richmond Hill project toward eventual surface heap leach gold operation as soon as 2029, with ongoing exploration, metallurgical tests, and working towards feasibility stage economics. The company is also expanding the surface oxide mineralization and high-grade gold mineralization at depth discovered thus far at the Maitland Gold Project toward an initial resource estimate. Bob was previously the Executive Chairman of Pretium Resources Inc., which he founded in October 2010. Prior to Pretium, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Silver Standard Resources Inc. (now SSR Mining Inc.) for 25 years from 1985-2010. Not only does he have a wealth of experience in developing and constructing producing mines, but he has assembled a solid management team and board filled with industry veterans that have worked in either the Homestake Mine, before it closed down, or the currently producing nearby Wharf Mine, operated by Coeur Mining. Richmond Hill is one of the largest undeveloped oxide gold resources in the United States being advanced by a junior mining company, with over 6 million ounces of gold and over 60 million ounces of silver moving along the pathway of development into heap leach production as soon as 2029. Principle Projects on Private Land which equates to a positive attribute for efficient permitting with State and County organizations. Dakota Gold released an Initial Assessment with Cash Flow (IACF) on July 7th, which is similar in nature to a Canadian PEA study. This economic study was based on a 30,000 ton per day crushing circuit, and furthers the project towards ultimate production. IACF Highlights: Richmond Hill is one of the largest development stage oxide gold resources in the United States: M&I plan identifies 168.3 million tonnes at a grade of 0.566 grams per tonne gold (“g/t Au”) for a total of 2.6 million ounces produced over a 17-year life of mine. MI&I plan identifies 273.7 million tonnes at a grade of 0.530 g/t Au for a total of 3.9 million ounces produced over a 28-year life of mine. Strong Economics: At a base case gold price of $2,350 per ounce, the project has an after tax NPV5% of $1.6 billion and IRR of 55% for the M&I plan, and $2.1 billion and 59% respectively for the MI&I plan. At recent metal prices of $3,350 the NPV5%'s increase to $2.9 billion and IRR of 99% and $3.7 billion and 107%, respectively. Low-Cost: Initial Capital of $384 million, including $53 million contingency, with life of mine All-in Sustaining Costs (“AISC”) averaging $1,047 for M&I plan and $1,050 for MI&I plan. Feasibility Underway: Building on the robust IACF, work has commenced on the Feasibility Study planned for completion in early 2027, construction in 2028 and production targeted for 2029. There are currently two drill rigs turning at Richmond Hill. In 2025, the Company expects to drill ~90,000 feet (27,500 meters) using a combination of Reverse Circulation and Core drilling. The primary focus of the program is to collect metallurgical samples for the Feasibility Study, infill, and expansion resource drilling in the Northeast corner of the Project area. This area is expected to be mined at the beginning of the mine plan and is higher-grade than the overall deposit. At the Maitland Gold Project the Company is currently assessing the exploration data collected to date from the JB Gold Zone and the Unionville Zone with the intent of outlining an initial inferred gold resource. The work is expected to be completed in the fall of 2025. To date the JB Gold Zone has encountered a number of high-grade intersections which average 10.76 g/t Au over 4.0 meters.
