In this episode, Seth speaks with Tim Fearon, a respected leader in orthopedic manual physical therapy, about the role of exercise in manual therapy practice.Tim reflects on retirement, mentorship, and the clinical evolution that led him to place exercise and patient responsibility at the center of care. He shares how early mentorship shaped his manual therapy skills, but how recurring patient problems forced him to ask a harder question: if symptoms improve but the problem returns, did we really fix anything? The conversation explores Tim's shift toward active participation, PNF principles, the Maitland model, reassessment, and exercise as a reasoned clinical intervention rather than a generic home program. Tim also challenges clinicians to stop treating exercise as the less important part of care, stop overdosing patients with too many exercises, and stop outsourcing the very thing that helps patients take ownership of their recovery. The episode also looks toward the future of physical therapy, including remote therapeutic monitoring, exercise apps, online programs, and why skilled clinicians who can integrate passive care, active care, and patient psychology will continue to matter.Key TakeawaysManual therapy alone may not create lasting change. Tim describes realizing that he could improve symptoms manually, but patients sometimes returned with the same problem because the underlying functional capacity had not changed.Exercise should be reasoned like manual therapy. Tim emphasizes using reassessment after active interventions just as clinicians do after passive techniques.Patient psychology matters. The best exercise is not just biomechanically appropriate. It has to match the person's behavior, motivation, tolerance, and readiness.Do not overdose the home program. Tim warns that giving too many exercises can reduce adherence and cause patients to abandon even the most important pieces.Exercise should not be treated as lower-value care. Handing exercise off too casually can signal to the patient that it is less important than the manual treatment. The patient must own part of the outcome. Tim repeatedly returns to personal responsibility: patients need to experience that what they do can change their symptoms and function.Generic exercise apps will help some people, but not everyone. Tim sees value for people in the middle of the bell curve, but warns that more complex patients still need skilled clinical reasoning.Skilled PTs integrate passive and active care. Tim is not dismissing manual therapy. He argues that passive care and active management work best when they are both delivered with skill and intention.

Wherever faith clings to the promises of God, doubt is always lingering. Doubt asks the serpent's garden question, “Did God really say?” People doubt God's care, God's promises, or God's providence. The answer to doubt is not found in loud, dramatic demonstrations. The true answer to doubt is found in the still small voice of our Savior God whispering to us in his Word. Through Word and sacrament,Christ reaches out to us with nail-scarred hands, proof of his great love. Jesus gently says, “Why did you doubt?” Our faith is restored. The hardest times to trust God are the times we need him most. It's easier to trust God when your job is going great, your health is fine, your relationships are fine, and your family is good. It's easier to trust God when the sun is shining, but what happens when your life is suddenly overshadowed by dark days? When tragedy strikes, we may wonder if God continues to care for us. At those times, Christians do not despair like those who have no hope. Instead, Christians focus on certain foundational facts. We are chosen and adopted as God's dear children. God provides us innumerable spiritual blessings and promises us an eternity of peace and joy. If we recognize those spiritual blessings, how can we doubt that God will give us everything we truly need at the right time? The wheat that grows in the Middle East is a variety that looks much like wild grass or weeds. It is difficult to tell wheat and weeds apart until shortly before harvest time, when the wheat stalks develop a head containing the kernels of grain. Pulling the weeds out of a wheat field could lead to accidentally pulling up a fair amount of wheat. People need to wait for the harvest to separate wheat from weeds. Jesus uses that image to illustrate life this side of heaven. What makes Christians different? They are wheat planted by the Lord. Unbelieving evildoers are pictured as weeds. We might want God to take care of evil now, pulling up all the weeds. But he tells us to wait for the harvest of judgment day. So we live as wheat among weeds, being faithful, fruitful, and mindful of the coming harvest.Support the showMessages from the King is produced by King of Kings Lutheran Church in Maitland, FL.To find out more about King of Kings...Please visit VisitKoK.comLike us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/visitkok)Email us @ info@visitkok.comRemember your Savior Jesus loves you! Jack Henris, President and COO, and Shawn Campbell, CFO of Dakota Gold (NYSE American: DC), both join me for a visual exploration and development update on their Richmond Hill Oxide Heap Leach Gold Project; located in the historic Homestake District of South Dakota, near existing mining infrastructure. We review all the drill results from 2025 and 2026 that will be incorporated into the upcoming resource estimate and Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) in Q4, and the timeline of key development studies that will feed into updated Feasibility Study economics in 2027. We also highlight the upcoming drill program at their Maitland Gold Project, which will lead into a maiden resource estimate.   We start off with Shawn reviewing the existing site and regional infrastructure advantages along with the resources at Richmond Hill that were defined in prior years drilling, while Jack outlined the key economic metrics as outlined in the existing SK-1300 Internal Assessment of Cash Flow (IACF).  Richmond Hill is one of the largest undeveloped oxide gold resources in the United States being advanced by a junior mining company, with over 6 million ounces of gold and over 60 million ounces of silver moving along the pathway of development into heap leach production as soon as 2029.   The 2026 Drill Campaign is now complete, and it totaled 17,273 meters of infill, expansion, and geotechnical drilling across 112 holes. Results from the 2025 and 2026 drill campaigns at Richmond Hill are being incorporated into a Pre-Feasibility Study (“PFS”) in the fourth quarter of 2026. The exploration team has been encouraged by the series of solid results from the northeast expansion drilling, which continues to identify higher-grade zones that complement the large heap-leachable resource at Richmond Hill. This data will support an updated mineral resource estimate, refine the geo-metallurgical model, and deliver a single optimized mine plan with sequencing. Jack highlighted that the results being intercepted in the Northeast Project area contain much higher grades than the average overall resource grade. These results have encouraged their team to consider trade-off studies for the upcoming Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS), to potentially access these higher-grade areas in the first several years of mining. These trade-off studies that will factor into the upcoming PFS will be analyzing the fine-tuning of the project economics around the grade optimization, mine optimization, amount of material processed, and run-of-mine streamlining.   Supported by their $107 million cash position as of March 31, 2026, Shawn pointed out that this strong capital position has allowed the Company to announce that they've secured the electrical substation build slot and are advancing engineering, site layout, and operational readiness along the project's critical path. These workstreams will go above and beyond reporting reserves in 2026 PFS, and metallurgical test results and engineering studies will then inform the Feasibility Study to be completed in the first half of 2027.   Shawn reviews the maps of where the key site build-out will go on the private land, but also highlighted the potential to expand the Richmond Hill Project out beyond into the forest service lands in the fullness of time.  There was information shared that there is also opportunities in the future for the sulphide material underneath the oxide material at Richmond Hill.   Wrapping up, Jack shares that the drill program for this year just got underway at the Maitland Gold Project, with 5,578 meters (18,300 feet) planned over 44 holes. The goal of this infill drilling, when combined with historic drill results, will be to define a maiden resource for the Tertiary-aged Unionville gold Zone. There may be some additional work into the JB Gold Zone which has iron formation mineralization similar to the Homestake Mine style of gold mineralization.       If you have any questions for Jack or Shawn regarding Dakota Gold, then please email those to me at Shad@kereport.com.   In full disclosure, Shad is a shareholder of Dakota Gold at the time of this recording, and may choose to buy or sell shares at any time.   Click here to follow the latest news from Dakota Gold   Click here to view the YouTube Version of this interview:      For more market commentary & interview summaries, subscribe to our Substacks:   The KE Report: https://kereport.substack.com/ Shad's resource market commentary: https://excelsiorprosperity.substack.com/     Investment disclaimer: This content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute investment advice, an offer, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. Osvaldo Budet: Upriver DownriverMaitland Regional Art Gallery opens July 11th 2026, opening night 24th July and 25th July a talk and Q & A with Dr Nancy Cushing from University of Newcastle.Puerto Rican Australian artist Osvaldo Budet joins Art Wank to discuss Upriver Downriver, his exhibition at Maitland Regional Art Gallery exploring one of the Hunter region's most debated public monuments: Maitland's Black Boy statue, now more commonly referred to as Jocko Graves. For more than a century, the cast iron figure has stood in the centre of Maitland's civic life. Celebrated by some as a beloved local landmark and questioned by others for its racial imagery and colonial associations, the statue has become a focal point for conversations about history, memory, race, and heritage.Budet's work is informed by his experience growing up in Borikén, Puerto Rico, a place still shaped by colonial structures and histories. In Upriver Downriver, he considers how inherited images and public monuments continue to shape contemporary understandings of identity, authority, and belonging. Rather than offering simple answers, the exhibition asks how communities engage with historical objects whose meanings shift over time. This conversation explores the power of monuments, the persistence of colonial narratives in public space, and the ways artists can help us reimagine our relationships with difficult histories.Osvaldo Budet (b. 1979) is a Puerto Rican artist whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, drawing, photography, video, and research based projects. His work examines the physical, historical, and political dimensions of colonisation and post colonisation, exploring how systems of power shape culture, identity, and memory.Budet received a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art, where he studied under Grace Hartigan. Since 2008, he has lived and worked across Puerto Rico, Germany, the United States, and Australia. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico, Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, me Collectors Room Berlin, the Museum of Latin American Art, and numerous galleries and institutions throughout Europe, the Americas, and Australia.Through Upriver Downriver, Budet brings a global perspective on colonialism, representation, and historical memory to a distinctly local Australian story, inviting audiences to consider how we preserve, reinterpret, and reckon with the complex objects of our past. In this Dailycast episode of Wrestling Coast to Coast, Chris Maitland and Justin McClelland return to an old favorite when they review Wrestling Revolver's No Country for Old Mancer, but all is not well in this once cherished promotion. We look at the good (the rise of heel faction The Algorithm), the bad (tag titles defended in trios matches), and the ugly (too many chair shots to the head). Mance Warner defends the World Title against Alex Colon in a street fight. BDE defends the Remix Title in a (wait for it) Street Fight. And Ace Austin, Alan Angels, and Jeffery John have a pretty great three-way that is not a street fight! For VIP listeners, we venture to Jersey Championship Wrestling for Terry Yaki's biggest singles match to date, challenging Charles Mason for the JCW Title and a post-match angle that is TOO BIG for JCW.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/pwtorch-dailycast--3276210/support.

Pearl is a queer pastor with a PhD in history. Rev Kev is a former missionary who now sometimes identifies as an atheist pastor. Together, they are forming a new church community in Maitland — with misfits front of mind. Will is joined by Pearl and Kev in Mitch Forbes' office, where the four of them have a conversation about queering the bible, exploring negative/apophatic theology and how these approaches might translate into the formation of a new church.Want to reach out and let us know your thoughts or suggestions for the show? In this Dailycast episode of Wrestling Coast to Coast, Chris Maitland and Justin McClelland review Beyond Wrestling's Break the Walls Down, a strangely stand-alone show with a lot of big name talent and technically excellent matches, but next to nothing in the way of storylines or angles. Andrade delivers his all as a replacement for MJF to face Bobby Orlando. Gabby Forza and Megan Bayne have a real corker of a main event as we marvel at the development both have made over the past few years. Joey T becomes Justin's favorite announcer for a very specific reason. For VIP listeners, following his spectacular show debut last week, we delve deeper into the legend of Harlan Abbott by exploring more of his recent matches.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/pwtorch-dailycast--3276210/support.

In this enlightening episode, Dr. Linda Bluestein and recurring co-host Dr. Dacre Knight sit down with nationally recognized expert Dr. Anne Maitland to explore a revolutionary perspective on allergic and immune-mediated disorders. Dr. Maitland unpacks the "Epithelial Barrier Hypothesis," explaining how our modernized, industrialized environment, filled with microplastics, "forever chemicals," and processed foods, has essentially "confused" our ancestral defenses. She describes the triad of the epithelial border, the nervous system, and mast cells, illustrating how hypermobile individuals often act as the "canaries in the coal mine" due to their heightened sensory perceptions. The discussion moves beyond traditional allergy testing to address why so many patients suffer from multi-organ symptoms despite negative lab results, offering practical "swaps" and treatment strategies to help quiet a twitchy immune system. Takeaways The Border Under Attack: Modern pollutants like microplastics and harsh cleaners cause "leaky" epithelial barriers in the skin, gut, and lungs, allowing triggers to constantly activate the immune system. The Sensory-Immune Triad: Mast cells sit directly next to somatosensory nerves and blood vessels; when the nerves detect danger, they signal the mast cells to release potent chemicals. "Twitchy" vs. "Broken" Cells: Most patients don't have rare genetic mast cell diseases (broken cells) but rather "Mast Cells Breaking Bad", cells that are over-responding to an increasingly toxic environment. EDS and Hypersensitivity: There is a high correlation between being "bendy" and being hypersensitive, as proprioceptive deficits can keep the nervous system and thus the mast cells in a state of high alert. Practical Swaps for Stability: Simple changes like wearing cotton, using glass storage, and avoiding processed foods (emulsifiers) can significantly reduce the "insults" to your epithelial barriers.
