הפרסומת שחטפה את גוגל הום, הורדת המיסים על הסמארטפונים, ומי צריך כרטיס אשראי חכם?   הורדת המסים על סלולר – משתלם? שר האוצר משה כחלון הודיע השבוע על כוונתו לבטל את מס הרכישה על סמארטפונים, סוללות לסמארטפונים וכרטיסי סים, בכך להוזיל 15 אחוז ממחיר המכשיר. בניגוד לצפוי ההחלטה הזו בוצעה וזכתה לתהודה רחבה מאוד מצד הצרכנים ומצד היבואנים. מבחינת הצרכן מדובר בהחלטה מצוינת, זה עוזר להשוות את מחירי המכשירים בישראל לחו"ל, מוריד את העלות של אחת ההוצאות הבולטות והחוזרות של התושבים בארץ, והופך את השוק לתחרותי יותר גם כלפי חו"ל. אך הבעיה היא שהמהירות שבה הצו הזה פורסם ונכנס לתוקף, גרמה ליבואנים, קטנים כגדולים, להפסד גדול מאוד. שהרי, הם כבר מחזיקים בתוך שטח ישראל אלפי מכשירים שעליהם המס שולם במועד הייבוא, ועכשיו הם לא רשאים לגבות אותם מהצרכן. בעוד שהיבואנים הגדולים והרשמיים שנהנים מרווחיות גבוהה ותמיכה מחו"ל יכולים לעמוד בהפסדים שכאלה, יש לצידם יבואנים מקבילים נוספים שלא מבריחים מוצרים לארץ ומשלמים את המיסים במועד הייבוא, והם לא יכולים לאבד 15 אחוז על מכשיר שהרווח עליו הוא קטן מאוד מלכתחילה. מצד אחד, המדינה צריכה להחזיר ליבואנים את המס על המלאי הקיים, והמדינה יודעת בדיוק כמה יש מכל מכשיר ששולם עליו מס, מצד שני, חייבים לגרום ליבואנים למכור את המכשיר בעלות האמיתית שלו ולא לאפשר להם לגלגל את ההורדה במחיר אל הצרכן. מבחינתם, הם יכולים עכשיו להעלות את המחירים חזרה ולתרץ את זה בכך שהם צריכים לכסות את ההפסד, ואז כולם ישכחו שהמחיר ירד והם ירוויחו יותר. הרי הצרכנים כבר מוכנים לשלם את הסכום הזה, למה שזה ישנה להם למי הולך הכסף? זה מזכיר לי את התקופה שהדולר היה עולה ויורד בצורה דרמטית, וכל פעם שהוא היה עולה המחירים של מוצרי החשמל היו עולים מיד, אך כשהוא היה יורד הם אמרו שיש להם עוד מלאי ושהם לא רוצים להפסיד. בינתיים כל חברות הסלולר הגדולות הפיצה רשימת מחירים חדשה למכשירים אך מדובר במכשירים שנמכרים מלכתחילה במחיר גבוה מאוד אצלהם. ואני אומר, תפסיקו לבלבל את השכל, ותורידו את המחיר. ברגר קינג חוטפת את הגוגל אסיסטנט עם פרסומת בורגר קינג שידרה פרסומת שמפעילה את גוגל הום ושואלת אותה על הוופר, מה שגרם לגוגל הום ברחבי ארה"ב לפעול. זה קצת עצבן חלק מהלקוחות.   גוגל חסמו את הקול הספציפי של הפרסומת מלגרום למכשיר לעבוד אבל אנשים עדיין יכלו לשאול אותה. בהמשך אנשים ערכו שוב ושוב את הערך בוויקיפדיה כדי לצחוק על החברה עד שהוא ננעל. מאורח יותר ברגר קינג שידרה את הפרסומת שוב עם קול אחר כך שהוא עבר את החסימה. גם לאלקסה של אמזון היה סיפור דומה, לאחר שילדה ביקשה מהוריה בית בובות. היא אמרה can you play dollhouse with me and get me a dollhouse? ואלקסה הזמינה לה אחד יחד עם 2 קילו עוגיות. לאחר מכן שודרה כתבה בנושא ואותו משפט מפתח שגרם להזמנה הראשונית, יזם הזמנות נוספות מצד מכשירים נוספים ששמעו את הפקודה מהטלוויזיה. מה הקטע עם כרטיסי אשראי משוכללים? ניחשתם נכון, שוב פרויקט מימון קהל גובה כסף ולא מספק את הסחורה.הפעם זו חברה בשם Plastc שכמו כולם, הבטיחה לספק כרטיס אשראי מיוחד שיכול להכיל בתוכו מידע של כרטיסי אשראי אחרים, כך שאין צורך להסתובב עם ארנק מלא אלא רק אחד מיוחד.   Plastc כמו המתחרות שלה Coin ו-Swyp היא האחרונה ברשימה קצרה של סטארטאפים שניסו לשנות את הדרך שבה אנחנו משלמים. אבל כמו עם כל פרויקט קיקסטארטר כושל שסקרנו, גם אלה מסרו מוצר כושל או לא מסרו מוצר בכלל, נעלמו עם הכסף או סתם בזבזו אותו, ומעל הכל, לא הצליחו להגיב בזמן לשינויים בשוק ובזמן שעבר בין גיוס הכסף למעוד המסירה התאורטי, הטכנולוגיה השתנתה והפכה את המוצר למיושן עוד לפני שיצא. במקרה של כרטיסי אשראי אלקטרוניים היה מדובר בטכנולוגיה שעליה הקונספט נשען – פס מגנטי מתחלף. המשתמש קורא את הפס המגנטי של כרטיס האשראי, מעתיק את כל המידע שלו, ואז כשהגיע הזמן לשלם, הכרטיס החכם היה משנה את הפס המגנטי שלו – קצת כמו קלטת אודיו ישנה, וככה אפשר להעביר בכל פעם כרטיס אשראי אחר. אלא שאז טכנולוגיה חדשה נכנסה לשוק האשראי בשם EMV. זהו שבב מחשב קטן שנמצא על הכרטיס שלהבדיל מהפס המגנטי שתמיד נשאר זהה, הצ'יפ מייצר קוד עסקה ספציפי בכל פעם שמגהצים את האשראי. בכך גנב שרוצה להעתיק את המידע לא יכול לעשות בו שימוש לאחר מכן, אבל זה אומר שגם הפס המגנטי המתחלף של הכרטיסים לא תקף. וכך בבת אחת כל הקונספט של כרטיסים חכמים שמאחדים בתוכם מקבץ של כרטיסי אשראי אחרים הפך לעוד יותר פיקציה. עכשיו זה לא אומר שהמוצר לא עובד, הרי הוא יכול להכיל בתוכו כל מיני כרטיסי מתנה פשוטים כאלה או כרטיסי מועדון שלהם אין וגם לא צריך שתהיה אבטחה גבוהה. עתיד התשלומים עדיין מעורפל למדי. חברת Coin למשל סגרה את שעריה ומכרה את הטכנולוגיה לחברת פיטביט – אלו מצמידי הכושר החכמים. הרעיון די מובן מאליו, יצאת לריצה, יש לך הכל בשעון כושר החכם, כולל הארנק. Swyp כן שלחה את המוצר שלה בסופו של דבר אחרי הרבה מאוד עיכובים, אבל הוא לא תומך בשבב אז הוא לא פרקטי במיוחד. ב-2016 החברה ציינה שהכרטיס החדש שתומך גם ב-NFC ובשבב יהיה זמין למכירה בשנה הבאה. בינתיים באתר שלהם מופיע שאפשר להצטרף לרשימת המתנה. אם יש משהו אחד שלמדנו מהעניין הזה, זה שקשה מאוד להתחרות בפתרון חינם שתמיד עובד כמו כרטיס אשראי מפלסטיק רגיל. ותוספת של אהוד, בעניין מימון קהל. ב-2 באפריל קיבלתי הודעה מדורוס היזם, שהשקעתי בו 60 דולר לפני כמעט 3 שנים, ובו היה כתוב שתוך שבועיים יגיע מייל אישור אחרון לפני שליחת המוצרים. האמת ששמחתי שסוף סוף זה קורה. ואז 13 ימים אחרי הגיע מייל שבוכ הוא אומר שהיו קשיים טכניים, המוצר לא ייצא, ונגמר הכסף כי הוא פשט רגל. דיברנו ארוכות בהרצאה שלנו על למה זה קורה . אבל מה שמעניין הוא מה קרה בשבועיים האלה. הקשיים הטכניים צצו אז? הוא חשב שהכל ייפתר בשבועיים האלה וברגע האחרון משהו ישתבש? המלצה בדקה אהוד ממליץ על Trial And Error – סדרה מוקומנטרית על משפט רצח   שחר ממליץ על כל העונות של Mad Men שיש בנטפליקס   The post רמקול חכם נחטף ללא מסים באשראי 094 appeared first on Low Battery.
