In this episode we talk about Rocklahoma 2017. We have made the trip our to Pryor all 11 years, and this was another memorable one. We talk about our love of Camp Jager, why we love going to ROK so much regardless of how much we like the lineup, the great Darkside Stage, our overall thoughts, the pre party days with sets from TROY (who we also play a song from), Reliance Code and Screaming Red Mutiny kicking off the Axis Stage in pure rock fashion, 3D in Your Face making their triumphant return to ROK, Fist of Rage doing what they always do (hint: it's rock), Nincos providing an absolute highlight, Switchbach with their brand of powerful rock (we also play a song from them), and Locust Grove bringing the high energy rock to the masses. The rest of the festival brought great performances from As Shadows Collapse, Claim Your Enemy (and a wonderful honor bestowed upon us), Slaughter taking us back to our youth and Zoltan Chaney's mesmerizing performance, Fozzy and Rich Ward providing great hard rock, Deathgrip destroying the Retrospect Stage, Def Leppard bringing mass amounts of fun, Fuel bringing a great set, Zakk Sabbath summoning the gods of rain, Black Stone Cherry showing why they are beyond underrated and showing up most of their peers, Ratt bringing riffs and hits, Buckcherry.... well, they were there, Jackyl being an absolute show stealing highlight as usual, the beef from seether, The Offspring closing out the main stage with the hits, a fitting and touching Chris Cornell tribute, and Niterain bringing your spirits back up.
