Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our weekly theme, "Temptation," by discussing various temptations with experts in their respective fields and how they overcome them. Our first guest, Kathi Lipp, joined us to talk about the temptation to hold on to clutter “just in case,” explaining how fear, anxiety, and constant pressure to upgrade can keep us from trusting God’s provision and living with freedom. Kathi is an author, speaker, blogger, and podcast host. We welcomed Dr. Ronnie Floyd to talk about overcoming temptation and spiritual strongholds, explaining why believers must stand on God’s Word, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and speak truth against the enemy’s lies. Dr. Floyd is a speaker, author, pastor, and host of the weekly podcast called “For Leaders Podcast with Ronnie Floyd.” We then opened up the phone lines to hear from our listeners. We posed the question, “Why did you keep going back to the temptation that hurt you most? And how did God work to break that?” You can hear the highlights of today’s program on the Karl and Crew Showcast. One of the most important duties of a leader is to build a self-sustaining culture that builds teams and mobilizes people. Otherwise, the leader spends their time and effort going uphill endlessly, relying on their own leadership ability. I want each of you, as leaders, to build teams that mobilize people toward a common vision and mission. So, tell your friends and colleagues about this episode and its subject, and we will all grow together. My name is Ronnie Floyd, so stay tuned right now for the For Leaders Podcast 95th episode titled: LEADERS BUILD TEAMS AND MOBILIZE PEOPLE.
John Whaley brings over 40 years of ministry experience to every conversation, including 21 years as a pastor. He currently serves as Chief of Staff for Prayer at the Heart and as Senior North American Pioneer and Executive Pioneer for The Rooftop International. A passionate teacher of the Word and advocate for united prayer, John previously led a city-wide Pastors Prayer Movement in Alabama that united leaders across denominational lines. He now serves on the National Prayer Committee in the United States and has preached the Gospel throughout the U.S. and in countries including Romania, Germany, France, Poland, Austria, South Africa, and South Korea. John's deepest burden is to see every local church awakened to the priority of prayer, the passion of the Father, and the power of the Gospel. He longs for pastors in every city to pray and labor together as one, and for believers to step beyond the walls of their buildings to transform their cities with the Gospel and make disciples who make disciples. John is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and lives in Hickory, North Carolina, with his family.Prayer at the Heart is a national prayer movement dedicated to igniting spiritual awakening in America through unified, humble, and biblically grounded prayer. Their bold mission is simple yet powerful: “One Million Praying. One Million Saved. 50 Days. One God.” The organization is mobilizing 1 million Christians to pray specifically for 1 million Americans to come to faith in Jesus Christ. This 50-day focused prayer campaign runs from Passover to Pentecost (April 5 – May 24, 2026) and builds toward the America 250 National Prayer Initiative — coordinated public prayer gatherings in all 50 states on July 4, 2026, as the nation celebrates its 250th birthday. At its core, Prayer at the Heart calls the Church back to the heart of God through repentance, renewed passion for prayer, and bold witness. Rooted in 2 Chronicles 7:14, the movement emphasizes that real cultural and spiritual change begins when God's people humble themselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from their wicked ways. Rather than top-down programs, PATH focuses on grassroots activation — everyday believers praying for friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers, while churches open their doors and leaders unite across denominational lines for city-wide and nationwide prayer. The initiative was piloted in Northeast Ohio and is now scaling nationally. It equips participants with free prayer guides, trains state and county representatives, and encourages visible prayer in public spaces such as campuses, workplaces, neighborhoods, and city halls. Leadership includes:Dr. P. Douglas Small – President & Executive Director (vision carrier for over 30 years)Garry Bryant – Vice President & Chairman of the BoardJohn Whaley – Chief of Staff (featured guest)Additional board members and advisors with deep experience in evangelism, revival, and church leadership. The movement is proudly endorsed by Dr. Franklin Graham and Dr. Ronnie Floyd. Individuals and churches can get involved by:Committing to pray for one specific person and receiving the free 50-day Prayer GuideBecoming a state or county representativeHosting or joining local prayer gatheringsSupporting the work through prayer and giving (current matching-gift opportunity)In short, Prayer at the Heart believes that if America returns to prayer, God will return in power — and they are calling believers to be part of that historic move right now.https://prayerattheheart.org/Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/i-am-refocused-radio--2671113/support.Subscribe now at YouTube.com/@RefocusedNetworkThank you for your time.

Hi everyone, I am Ronnie Floyd. Last week's subject, Walking Toward The Future God Has For You. We had a great response to it. If you missed it please note to listen to or watch it. Last week, I traveled to Athens, Greece, to lead seven twenty-minute sessions on experiencing prayer. Over 400 leaders attended from more than sixty countries worldwide. The sessions were meaningful, and the Lord moved in each one. We gifted over 500 books to those leaders present, including my new book, The Supernatural Power of Prayer and Fasting. Preaching this coming Sunday, August 24, at the Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. I hope you will come and be a part of it if you live in that region. You can find out the times and address on their website. As the Lord has led me to read through the book of Daniel, oh, He has spoken to me in and through His Word greatly. In Daniel 4:26, “your kingdom shall be confirmed for you from the time that you know that Heaven rules. O King, let my counsel be acceptable to you.” Do you know this: Heaven rules! What does this mean? God is Sovereign over everything and everyone, including Kings and Presidents, movements and actions. Human power is temporary. God is over all, in all, and through all!
On this weeks episode of the Coach Me Up podcast, host Jimmy Dykes is joined by Dr. Ronnie Floyd, former senior pastor of CrossChurch, a multi campus church in Northwest Arkansas. Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our weekly theme of “Freedom” with a discussion about how, when you have humility before God, you make room for His power in your situation. We turned to 1 Peter 5:5-6, where this is affirmed, as it talks about clothing ourselves with humility before God, casting all our cares upon Him, because He cares for us. We then turned to phone lines to hear from our listeners as we asked them, “How did humility before God get you unstuck or lift you above your own efforts?” We also had Dr. Ronnie Floyd join us to discuss the importance of meeting God in the secret place through fasting and prayer. Dr. Ronnie Floyd is a speaker, author, and encourager dedicated to helping others, committed to the next generation, and empowering leaders. He is also the host of the weekly podcast, For Leaders Podcast with Ronnie Floyd. He has written several books, including “The Supernatural Power of Prayer and Fasting.” Then Chris Fabry joined us to discuss the importance of humility in daily life. Chris is an award-winning author and radio personality. He is the host of “Chris Fabry Live” and the cohost of “Building Relationships with Dr. Gary Chapman.” He has also published more than 80 books, including “War Room.” You can hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast. Today, on Karl and Crew, we kicked off our “going under the hood” weekly theme with a discussion about the unseen spiritual disciplines that cultivate our spiritual lives. Spiritual disciplines are practices that grow and deepen our spiritual lives, such as prayer, fasting, or quiet time with the Lord. What is an unseen discipline that is most beneficial to your spiritual life? We had a few of our listeners answer this question and share their stories. We also had Dr. Ronnie Floyd join us to speak on the importance of fasting. Dr. Floyd is a speaker, author, and encourager dedicated to helping others, committed to the next generation, and empowering leaders. He is also the host of the weekly podcast called “For Leaders Podcast with Ronnie Floyd.” Dr. Bill Thrasher also joined us to provide insight into finding delight in our prayer life. Welcome to our podcast today. I am Ronnie Floyd, your host and friend. Before I start this episode, let me introduce you to some important matters. First, next Monday is Memorial Day. Thank you to all families throughout generations who have lost family members in the line of battle, protecting our freedom in America. Thank God for each one of them. Next week, we will not release a podcast due to Memorial Day, a shorter work week, and many of you will be formally beginning your summer. However, I will be back with you, releasing our next podcast on Wednesday, June 4. Don't miss it! Second, pray for me. I will be preaching four Sundays in June. On June 1, I will preach at Cross Church Springdale and Pinnacle Hills. On June 8, Jeana and I will be in Dallas, Texas, attending the Southern Baptist Convention. On June 15, I will preach at Fellowship Church in Greenwood, Missouri, which is located in the greater Kansas City region. Pastor Chris Williams is a great leader and friend, and the Fellowship Church is phenomenal. Then, on June 22, I will preach for my dear friend, Dr. Jeremy Roberts, at the First Baptist Church in Farmington, Arkansas. Then, on June 29-30, I will preach for Pastor Alan Arthur, the pastor of First Baptist Church in San Saba, Texas. He has asked me to speak several times, leading his church in a Prayer Conference. I am so grateful for these opportunities, so please pray for me. Now let's get started with the podcast for this week. Let's go!
Today, on Karl and Crew, we celebrated the National Day of Prayer by discussing the importance of prayer. Prayer is an intimate time of communion and conversation with the Lord, and as Christ followers, we should be actively praying. Do you have an active prayer life? We turned to Matthew 6:5-14, which provides us with some guidelines on how to pray properly. We also heard from our listeners about how God answered their prayers. We then had Dr. Ronnie Floyd join us to discuss the purpose of the National Day of Prayer. Dr. Floyd was the former National Day of Prayer Task Force president and is now a speaker, author, and encourager. He is dedicated to helping others, committed to the next generation, and empowering leaders. He is also the host of the weekly podcast, For Leaders Podcast with Ronnie Floyd.
