The sermon centers on the daily practice of showing forth God's salvation through continuous praise and trust in His sovereignty. Drawing primarily from Psalm 96, the message emphasizes that believers must declare the Lord's greatness and reign in every circumstance, whether facing health crises or daily uncertainties. The preacher illustrates this theme by referencing hymns like 'Day by Day' and biblical accounts such as Job and the Israelites receiving manna, highlighting God's consistent provision of grace for each new day. It encourages Christians to rely on Christ for strength rather than their own abilities, noting that while outward circumstances may perish, the inward spirit is renewed daily. Ultimately, the text calls for a lifestyle of constant witness, urging believers to proclaim God's faithfulness and coming judgment to the world with confidence in His unsearchable greatness.

By Day 5 My Face, Skin, and Teeth Had Already Changed. Ben Azadi quit sugar for 14 days. By day five, the puffiness around his eyes was gone, his jawline looked sharper, his teeth looked whiter, and the constant food noise in his head went silent. This isn't a story about candy. It's about the hidden sugar in the "healthy" foods you eat every day, and what happens when you finally pull it out. The average American eats 57 pounds of added sugar a year, roughly 14 times what our bodies were built to handle, and it's quietly inflaming your face, your gut, your skin, and your brain. SEND ME A TEXT MESSAGE NOWI'M BACK!This episode takes a closer look at Donald Trump, not through one headline or one speech, but through something that's been building over time. It's not about a single moment. It's about what happens when you start putting all the moments together. You've probably seen clips of Trump speaking recently. Maybe you've shrugged them off. Maybe you didn't think much of it. But when those moments start to stack up, they start to point in a very specific direction. There's a difference between a political style and something that feels off in a way that's harder to ignore. With Trump, that line isn't just blurry anymore. It's getting harder to pretend it isn't there. What makes this more complicated is how quickly everything gets explained away. Some people call it strength. Others call it strategy. It's the same behavior, just completely different reactions depending on who's watching. This episode cuts through that noise and looks at what's actually happening with Donald Trump right now, and why more people are starting to say the same thing out loud.AWorldGoneMadPodcast@gmail.com

Acts 2:36-47 ESV 36 Let all the house of Israel therefore know for certain that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.” 37 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.” 40 And with many other words he bore witness and continued to exhort them, saying, “Save yourselves from this crooked generation.” 41 So those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls. The Fellowship of the Believers 42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved. For more information about Redeemer Church Lubbock visit our website at redeemerlubbock.org.

Welcome to 2026! The first week in January—the time where gyms are full, weight loss programs make all their money, and financial plans are in place. It’s one thing to make resolutions; it’s a completely different thing to develop some healthy rhythms. The 70’s Christian song “Day by Day” gives us a good prayer for the New Year: “Three things I pray. To see Thee more clearly, to love Thee more dearly, and to follow Thee more nearly, day by day.” The book of Psalms begins with a vivid picture of two paths to walk. One becomes a path to a withered and wasted life. The other is a path that creates deep roots like a tree near a stream. But how do we walk the path to life? The Scriptures teach us that the way to walk this path is in developing healthy rhythms that lead us to deeper love for and knowledge of Jesus and a more devoted life to His mission. Today we will look at the spiritual rhythms of Bible intake, prayer, rest, worship, and fasting; sharing ideas to implement these rhythms in our lives to help us walk in the way of the Lord day by day.

I went to the Annecy Festival for the first time and recorded a full day-by-day recap so you know what it actually feels like on the ground—especially if you've got a ticket and you're wondering, “Wait… what am I walking into?”In this episode, I break down what Annecy really is (festival screenings + MIFA market + exhibits + panels + networking), what surprised me most (how spread out everything is), and the practical stuff I wish I'd understood earlier: badge pickup, bus passes, reservations vs standby lines, how early to arrive, how to choose what to attend when schedules collide, and how to handle networking without burning out. You'll also hear highlights from my week—Women in Animation sessions, pitch events, studio presentations (including TeamTO), AI panels and the “ethical AI” conversation, Crunchyroll insights, a Raphael Bob-Waksberg masterclass, documentary pitches, country pavilions, and the very real cocktail-party ecosystem that takes over your evenings. And because there are still tons of practical questions (travel, lodging, budgeting, what to pack, what badge to get, etc.), I made a Part 2 FAQ video to round out the full experience: https://youtu.be/4N5naRzLNMUIf you've been to Annecy, I'd love to hear what you'd add—or what you think I missed. And if you're going for the first time, drop your questions in the comments so we can make this a communal resource.
