Sermon Notes: The Perception of Love Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Okronipa Main Scriptures: 1 Corinthians 14:1, Galatians 5:6, Mark 11:23-25, 1 Peter 3:8-12. I. The Purpose of the Church A Place for Healing: The church is meant for "offended" and "weak" people seeking God's help. Believers must be patient with one another's frailties. The Problem of Offense: Satan uses offense as leverage to break down churches. Leaving a church due to a personal hurt is often a sign of spiritual immaturity and selfishness. Spiritual Training: Being offended serves as a test to see how far your "love life" has actually developed. II. The Supernatural Power of Love (Agape) Faith's Engine: According to Galatians 5:6, faith is "activated, energized, and expressed" through love. Without love, faith for miracles or breakthroughs will eventually shut down. Beyond Human Sentiment: While human love (Storge, Philia, Eros) is powerful, Agape is the "God-kind" of love that allows a believer to sacrifice for others and forgive even the deepest wrongs. Miracles through Love: Love has the power to cast out demons and bring healing where standard spiritual warfare might struggle. III. The Doctrine and Discipline of Forgiveness Unforgiveness as Poison: Holding onto a grudge is described as "drinking poison and expecting the other person to die". Blocked Prayers: Mark 11:25 teaches that before you pray for a mountain to move, you must first forgive anyone you have something against. No Conditional Forgiveness: Believers shouldn't wait for an apology to forgive. Forgiveness is a spiritual decision that reopens the door to God's favor. IV. Divine Protection and Long Life The "Eyes of the Lord": 1 Peter 3 promises that those who seek peace, avoid evil speech, and walk in love will enjoy divine protection and "good days". Escaping Satanic Traps: Walking in love keeps spiritual doors closed to the enemy. Bitterness often provides a foothold for demonic operations and physical sickness. V. Practical Application: How to Love Tenderheartedness: Replace hard-heartedness and stubbornness with a soft, easily entreated spirit. Courtesy and Respect: Love is evidenced in simple courtesy and how we treat those "below" us in social or spiritual status. Protecting Others: Love seeks to protect and cover the reputations of others rather than exposing their mistakes. Closing Challenge: Identify someone who has treated you unfairly and make the decision to bless them and pray for their welfare, thereby aligning your heart with the nature of God.

No matter how smart, how passionate, or how gifted you are, it's impossible for you to live a righteous life in your own strength. On this episode of The Verdict, Pastor John Munro explores what it means to live each day in the Spirit, drawing on the supernatural power that's available to you as you follow Jesus Christ.
The Christian life is not a difficult life, it is an impossible life--if you're trying to do it all on your own. On this episode of The Verdict, Pastor John Munro discusses the life-changing impact of the supernatural power we are given through the Holy Spirit.
The Time of the End 1 ¶ “Now at that [end] time Michael, the great [angelic] prince who stands guard over the children of your people, will arise. And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; but at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the fnBook [of Life], will be rescued. 2 “Many of those who sleep in the dust of the ground will awake (resurrect), these to everlasting life, but some to disgrace and everlasting contempt (abhorrence). 3 “Those who are [spiritually] wise will shine brightly like the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who lead many to righteousness, [will shine] like the stars forever and ever. 4 “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the scroll until the end of time. Many will go back and forth and search anxiously [through the scroll], and knowledge [of the purpose of God as revealed by His prophets] will [greatly] increase.” 5 ¶ Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, there stood two others, the one [angel] on this bank of the river and the other [angel] on that bank of the river. 6 And one said to the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, “How long will it be until the end of these wonders?” 7 And I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he held up his right hand and his left hand toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and a half a time (three and a half years); and as soon as they finish shattering and crushing the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished. 8 As for me, I heard, but I did not understand; so I said, “My lord, what will be the outcome of these things?” 9 And the angel said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are concealed and sealed up until the end of time. 10 “Many will be purged, purified (made white) and refined, but the wicked will behave wickedly. None of the wicked shall understand, but those who are [spiritually] wise will understand. 11 “From the time that the regular sacrifice [that is, the daily burnt offering] is taken away and the abomination of desolation is set up [ruining the temple for worship of the true God], there will be fn1,290 days. 12 “How blessed [happy, fortunate, spiritually prosperous] and beloved is he who waits expectantly [enduring without wavering for the period of tribulation] and comes to the fn1,335 days! 13 “But as for you (Daniel), go your way until the end [of your fnlife]; for you will rest and rise again for your allotted inheritance at the end of the age.”
Acts 3 is not just a story about a man who couldn’t walk. It’s a story about what happens when the risen Christ continues His work through ordinary people. First Belton exists to lead all generations to know and follow Jesus. Learn more at https://www.firstbelton.org/
What if you're already sitting on more blessings than you realize? After weeks of talking about sin and negative programming, Dr. Alex Lloyd and Harry bring the good news: God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit have given you gifts that completely tidal wave your struggles. This isn't feel-good fluff—this is a comprehensive, scripture-backed catalog of what you actually receive from the Trinity. WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER IN THIS EPISODE: - The complete list of gifts from God the Father (presence, power, glory, light, love, grace, and more) - What Jesus specifically gives you that the Father doesn't (His way, truth, life, righteousness, peace) - The unique blessings only the Holy Spirit provides (comfort, perfect counsel, fruit of the Spirit, power) - Why you receive love, peace, and grace from all three—and why that matters - What "glory" actually means in Old vs. New Testament (Harry's word study insights) - Why guilt and shame DON'T come from God (even when you've sinned) - The experiential difference between natural living and living in these gifts - How Harry's life transformed over 2-3 years by intentionally pursuing these blessings KEY TOPICS COVERED: God's Presence Everywhere - Psalm 139: "Where can I go that you're not there?" Supernatural Power vs. Natural Strength - Ephesians 3 The "Weight" of God's Glory That Fills the Earth Miraculous Light That Cleanses and Heals The New Heart and New Spirit Promise - Ezekiel 36:26-27 Being Made a New Creation - 2 Corinthians 5:17 Seated with Christ in Heaven's Throne Room - Ephesians 2:6 Jesus as Both Your Judge AND Defense Attorney The Mind of Christ and Being His Bride His Righteousness Imputed to You (How God judges you righteous even when you remember sinning) Love Beyond Knowledge - Ephesians 3:17-19 Peace That Passes Understanding Holy Spirit's Perfect Counsel for Your Specific Moment Fruit of the Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace, Kindness, Goodness, Faith, Humility, Self-Control The Same Power That Raised Jesus From the Dead Working in You Life and Health to Your Mortal Body - Romans 8:11 Unlimited Forgiveness (70 times 7) Propitiation: Jesus Takes Your Place The All-Encompassing Grace of God POWERFUL QUOTES FROM THIS EPISODE: "Love is God in motion." - Harry Lloyd "Would you rather have unconditional love from one person or two or three? You're getting it from all three persons of the Trinity." - Dr. Alex Lloyd "The experiential difference between this and what you might call the natural way of living... it is amazing how the trend of my life has been consistently upwards in the ways that really matter most." - Harry Lloyd "Guilt and shame don't come from God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit—at least not if you're committed to them in your life." - Dr. Alex Lloyd WORD STUDY INSIGHTS (from Harry): Glory (Old Testament): Refers to a substance of glory Glory (New Testament): God's definition of what value is, how it's structured, where it comes from—the hierarchy behind every kind of value Light: The physical manifestation of God's glory or presence Love: "God in motion"—the mechanism that underlies everything Grace: Literally means "unearned favor" IMPORTANT CLARIFICATIONS: - This doesn't mean life becomes problem-free—there is no path without pain, suffering, and sin on this earth - God won't take away your free will, even at 99 years old - These gifts lead to "lesser and lesser" problems over time, not elimination - Based on God's will for your specific situation (He sometimes uses health problems as "bumper guards") - You shouldn't accept this on Dr. Alex and Harry's say-so—Harry seriously studied atheism and apologetics before committing PRACTICAL APPLICATION: Dr. Alex suggests focusing on what God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit DO rather than dwelling on sin, guilt, shame, and selfishness. Consider writing down these gift lists and reviewing them regularly to shift your focus from the negative to the abundant blessings you already have. God has opened up so many doors preaching God's Word throughout the nation and even in Athens, Greece, this past August, at a large global missions conference with over 80 nations present. Hundreds were there, and it was powerful. God is at work in our country and world.
In this inspiring message, Pastor Drew East shares how God turns the ordinary into the extraordinary. Drew explains how we may seem like everyday people, but when ignited by God's Spirit, we become vessels of divine light, called to reveal the supernatural God to the world. He reminds us that our God is unchanging—supernatural yesterday, today, and forever—and invites us into a life of supernatural calling.Drew dives into key scriptures like Matthew 10:7-8 and 28:19-20, where Jesus commissions His disciples to proclaim the Kingdom, heal the sick, raise the dead, drive out demons, and make disciples who obey all His commands. This isn't a diminished version of faith but a full invitation to do what Jesus did, freely giving what we've freely received. Whether you're feeling ordinary or seeking to step into God's supernatural life, this message offers the key to unlocking that divine potential, encouraging us to live as the light of the world through Christ's power.CONNECT WITH US:→ Request Prayer: https://bit.ly/3zMyf5E→ Request Care: https://bit.ly/3fBTX5G→ Share a Testimony: https://bit.ly/3Jo7Ped→ Find Events and More: https://bit.ly/3TcrkcR→ Leave us a Review on Google: https://bit.ly/47925jP→ Plan a Visit in Person: https://bit.ly/3sfQdg7FOLLOW US:→ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/illuminatec...→ Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@illuminate_ch...→ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/illuminatech...WE HELP PEOPLE FIND ABUNDANT LIFE IN JESUS!

The Supernatural Power of Thanksgiving // Pastor Mike Lemp
Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our theme "Five Stunning Realities of the Gospel. Our scripture reference was Mark 6:12. Dr. Ronnie Floyd joined us to explain what true repentance really is and that the Gospel without true repentance is not Good News. Dr. Floyd is a speaker, author, and pastor. In this unusually raw and intimate episode, Emma Stark sits down with her husband David Stark to discuss a side of miracles rarely talked about in church — God's miraculous power in the most private and personal areas of our bodies and desires.Together, they unpack astonishing true stories of creative physical miracles: wombs appearing where none existed, cysts being expelled, and even transformations in sexual desire. They talk sensitively about praying for infertility, healing in LGBTQ+ journeys, righteous desire and the difference between shame-based “ministry” and authentic prophetic power motivated by compassion. This candid husband-and-wife conversation will challenge your comfort zones, stir your faith for the impossible, and remind you that God is not afraid of the intimate places — He is the God who heals them.Topics Covered:Creative miracles vs. healing miraclesInfertility, womb miracles & healing testimoniesShame-free prophetic ministry in sexual/identity areasPraying for righteous desireHow to handle vulnerable ministry moments in purityComfort for those who didn't see the miracle in timeSafety, honesty & journeying well with people
Hi everyone, I am Ronnie Floyd. Last week's subject, Walking Toward The Future God Has For You. We had a great response to it. If you missed it please note to listen to or watch it. Last week, I traveled to Athens, Greece, to lead seven twenty-minute sessions on experiencing prayer. Over 400 leaders attended from more than sixty countries worldwide. The sessions were meaningful, and the Lord moved in each one. We gifted over 500 books to those leaders present, including my new book, The Supernatural Power of Prayer and Fasting. Preaching this coming Sunday, August 24, at the Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama. I hope you will come and be a part of it if you live in that region. You can find out the times and address on their website. As the Lord has led me to read through the book of Daniel, oh, He has spoken to me in and through His Word greatly. In Daniel 4:26, “your kingdom shall be confirmed for you from the time that you know that Heaven rules. O King, let my counsel be acceptable to you.” Do you know this: Heaven rules! What does this mean? God is Sovereign over everything and everyone, including Kings and Presidents, movements and actions. Human power is temporary. God is over all, in all, and through all!
Today, on Karl and Crew, we continued our weekly theme of “Freedom” with a discussion about how, when you have humility before God, you make room for His power in your situation. We turned to 1 Peter 5:5-6, where this is affirmed, as it talks about clothing ourselves with humility before God, casting all our cares upon Him, because He cares for us. We then turned to phone lines to hear from our listeners as we asked them, “How did humility before God get you unstuck or lift you above your own efforts?” We also had Dr. Ronnie Floyd join us to discuss the importance of meeting God in the secret place through fasting and prayer. Dr. Ronnie Floyd is a speaker, author, and encourager dedicated to helping others, committed to the next generation, and empowering leaders. He is also the host of the weekly podcast, For Leaders Podcast with Ronnie Floyd. He has written several books, including “The Supernatural Power of Prayer and Fasting.” Then Chris Fabry joined us to discuss the importance of humility in daily life. Chris is an award-winning author and radio personality. He is the host of “Chris Fabry Live” and the cohost of “Building Relationships with Dr. Gary Chapman.” He has also published more than 80 books, including “War Room.” You can hear the highlights of today's program on the Karl and Crew Showcast. Looking 4 Healing Radio with Nichola Burnett – The main role of the Earth is to "bring forth" in abundance, for it is a divine resource center, which is why it is capable of sustaining life. Every single thing you own or use on a daily basis has its origin from the Earth; the food you eat, the car you drive, the clothes and bedding you use all have their origin from the Earth.
