Revivalist and author, Jen Miskov, joins Liz to discuss the fire fast of intimacy and consecration. In her new book, Feasting on God, Jen highlights how transformational it is for us to unlock the power of fasting in our lives. Many have a wrong perspective of fasting that is tied to religion, shame and guilt. She believes there needs to be a revolution on how we see it, as what it really is, is feasting on God's Presence. As Jen describes, when we say ‘no' to one thing, we say ‘yes' to something else. A true spiritual fast isn't just not eating, it is prioritising the Lord. Fasting is a massive key to reset out of spiritual tiredness, and place the body and soul back under submission to Holy Spirit. Today is an exciting invitation to go deeper and feast on God's Presence.Related Materials:What if you could unlock a new realm of supernatural encounters and heightened sensitivity to the Holy Spirit?Jennifer Miskov unveils the secret that has ignited Holy Spirit outpourings throughout history: fasting. Fasting is not a formula to coerce God. It's a spiritual posture in which you align yourself with His heart, unlocking dimensions of His nature that remain unexplored in ordinary seasons.Over 40 days, you will be immersed in holy fire through scriptural revelations, potent devotional insights, and practical fasting guides. Feast upon God's presence and witness your spiritual life flourish as you draw closer to His heart through the profound practice of fasting.

Are we truly exercising our spiritual authority through prayer? This powerful message challenges us to prioritize prayer before preaching, reminding us that our words gain supernatural influence when we've spent time with God. It's not just about praying for ourselves, but for those we're called to serve. Imagine walking through a church, laying hands on each seat, praying for the person who will sit there. This practice transforms our hearts, aligning our message with God's love for His people. The apostle Paul's prayer for the Colossians (Colossians 1:3, 9) serves as a model, showing us how to pray continually for others, creating an atmosphere where miracles can flourish. As we embrace this prayer-centered approach, we're invited to shift from occasional prayer to a life immersed in communion with God, opening channels for His wisdom and strength to flow through us. Forgiveness stands as one of the most transformative forces in God's kingdom, acting as both a spiritual weapon and a path to freedom. It opens heavenly doors, breaks generational cycles, and releases divine healing power. Through daily practice of forgiveness, we can move from being victims to victors and experience supernatural breakthrough. By making forgiveness a consistent habit rather than a one-time event, we align ourselves with God's grace and invite the Holy Spirit's presence into our lives.

[Philippians 4:19] And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. God's supply is not based on _______ riches, but on _____. [1 Kings 17:6-12] The ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook. [7] But after a while the brook dried up, for there was no rainfall anywhere in the land. [8] Then the Lord said to Elijah, [9] “Go and live in the village of Zarephath, near the city of Sidon. I have instructed a widow there to feed you.” [10] So he went to Zarephath. As he arrived at the gates of the village, he saw a widow gathering sticks, and he asked her, “Would you please bring me a little water in a cup?” [11] As she was going to get it, he called to her, “Bring me a bite of bread, too.” [12] But she said, “I swear by the Lord your God that I don't have a single piece of bread in the house. And I have only a handful of flour left in the jar and a little cooking oil in the bottom of the jug. I was just gathering a few sticks to cook this last meal, and then my son and I will die.” God has a ______________ for your ______________. We tend to be more ______________ about our problems than about God's provision. If you release what's in your ______________ He will release what's in His ______________. [Luke 6:38] Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.” Every ______________ begins with a problem. [Acts 3:3-6] When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for some money. [4] Peter and John looked at him intently, and Peter said, “Look at us!” [5] The lame man looked at them eagerly, expecting some money. [6] But Peter said, “I don't have any silver or gold for you. But I'll give you what I have. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, get up and walk!” When God is your ______________ you will never lack. God makes the ______________ before it is even ______________. [Matthew 6:31-33] “So don't worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' [32] These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. [33] Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

[Hebrews 4:16] So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. God wants us to approach with __________________. [Luke 11:5-10] Then, teaching them more about prayer, he used this story: “Suppose you went to a friend's house at midnight, wanting to borrow three loaves of bread. You say to him, [6] ‘A friend of mine has just arrived for a visit, and I have nothing for him to eat.' [7] And suppose he calls out from his bedroom, ‘Don't bother me. The door is locked for the night, and my family and I are all in bed. I can't help you.' [8] But I tell you this—though he won't do it for friendship's sake, if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence. [9] “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. [10] For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. There is power in __________________ prayer. If we pursued prayer like we pursue other things, we would see __________________ __________________. Don't give up, you may be on the brink of a _______________. [Galatians 6:9] Let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up. Don't miss out on your harvest of blessing because you _________ ________. [Philippians 4:6-7] Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. [7] Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. [1 Thessalonians 5:17] Never stop praying. [James 5:13-16] Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises. [14] Are any of you sick? You should call for the elders of the church to come and pray over you, anointing you with oil in the name of the Lord. [15] Such a prayer offered in faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will make you well. And if you have committed any sins, you will be forgiven. [16] Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. Never _____________________ the power of prayer.

If you are a follower of Jesus you have been given special ____________. [2 Timothy 1:6] This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you. A spiritual gift is a supernatural ________________ given to all Christians to do God's work on earth. [1 Corinthians 12:7, 11] A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. [11] It is the one and only Spirit who distributes all these gifts. He alone decides which gift each person should have. All gifts are useful, but they often go _____________. [Romans 12:6-8] In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. [7] If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. [8] If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. These gifts are given to you to be used in the Church to minister to _______________ and the _______________. [1 Corinthians 12:8-10] To one person the Spirit gives the ability to give wise advice; to another the same Spirit gives a message of special knowledge. [9] The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. [10] He gives one person the power to perform miracles, and another the ability to prophesy. He gives someone else the ability to discern whether a message is from the Spirit of God or from another spirit. Still another person is given the ability to speak in unknown languages, while another is given the ability to interpret what is being said. How do you find out what gifts you have? 1. _______________ what the Bible says about gifts. 2. Ask God to _______________ you your gifts. 3. _______________ what you enjoy and do well. 4. Take a spiritual gifts __________. (http://thrive.church/shape/) 5. ________ what the Holy Spirit leads you to ________. The church is ___________________ without your gift. [1 Peter 4:10-11] God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. [11] Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen. Use your gift as though God was doing it ________________ you.
God has a ____________ for your life. [Romans 8:14] For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. Life is a series of ____________ and ____________. THINGS WE SHOULD STOP Stop Looking to Other _______________ Besides God [Romans 12:2] Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Many people want to know the ____________ without knowing the ____________. Use circumstances ____________ God's Will not to discern God's Will. Today's conversation, from a spiritual perspective, is one of the most nutrient dense conversations we've had on A Stronger Faith. Dan Pinckney and his wife Iada have lived their lives walking in the gifts of the Spirit. They have worked as pastors around the globe, planted churches, directed spiritual healing centers, served as deliverance ministers, have been agents for radical healing, and of course, are teachers of the way of Christ with a strong knowledge of scripture. Dan is a Presbyterian pastor and was raised a cessationist. Cessationists believe that certain spiritual gifts such as prophecy, healing, and miracles essentially stopped when the first apostles died, a common viewpoint inside many modern denominational churches. But Dan has walked a very different life and has witnessed and participated in the miraculous for decades. Today, he shares many of those experiences, along with scores of priceless, eye-opening spiritual truths rooted in scripture. This episode might be one to have a notebook handy because I think it is a master class in walking in God's supernatural power.----------------------------------REACH DAN PINCKNEY:Dan is currently the Director of a prayer ministry in Chattanooga, TN called SOZO ChattanoogaWebsite: https://sozochatt.comHe can also be reached via email at danpinckney@sozochatt.comGET DAN'S BOOK Whole & Free: Walking in God's Supernatural Power here: https://amzn.to/4h7Vfzs---------------------------------CONNECT WITH US!TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@astrongerfaithInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/astrongerfaith/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/astrongerfaithWebsite: https://www.astrongerfaith.org/LISTEN/WATCH/SUBSCRIBE TO THE PODCASTYouTube: https://bit.ly/asfmyoutubeApple: https://apple.co/4g9vU8tSpotify: https://spoti.fi/3Zbg3jKTo RECOMMEND A GUEST for us, share your story, share your comments, or to request prayer visit https://www.astrongerfaith.org/contact.***If you would like to share your experience possibly as a guest with us, please make a short video (20 minutes or less) detailing your experiences with the presence of God.
