We're about to see all of DC change.... Flash is finally coming to the big screen, and they're bringing the Flashpoint Paradox story with it! BUT!! Before we get into the theater, let's take a look back at some of the films DC has put out before it, and have a little rant about why DC just hasn't been able to nail it down, what they've done well, and what after multiple viewings still bugs the speed force out of me! Hawaiin shirts....big beaches....fast cars...and a big mustache.....all iconic memories from one of the greatest tv shows of not just the 80's, but all time. Today we're talking about Magnum P.I. Tom Selleck became a superstar thanks to his portrayal of the private investigator in Oahu, and his success ran for 8 seasons. All good things must come to and end though, that is until you get renewed 30yrs later with an all new cast! What are the differences in the characters? How are the shows the same? These are some of the things we talk about when comparing the two iterations...the classic original, and the updated new run. The Waverider has landed in Central City after a long absence. We are here to assist the Flash and his team as they seek to restore Iris, preserve the future for the Flash Family, and keep the city safe. Joining Flash, Harley and xforce11 in the Justice League of Super Hosts, are our friends Silver Vox and Green Butterfly. They are joining us from our sister show, Dive Into DC. (You can hear their Flash season 8 recap here). In this episode, we share news, information, and guest stars for season 9 of The Flash. We also speculate on what it all means and share our thoughs on how we think the season will go, as well as on how we want the series to end. For the first time, Legends will be covering The Flash! Funny it's taken 9 seasons before this happened, but we want to be a part of the show taking its final run. And what you can expect from that is the same unbiased coverage of each episode every week. Whether it's a great one or a disappointing one, you'll get our honest reviews, and as you know us, the Legends, we aren't always on the same page, so it's sure to entertain at the very least! For this fianl season of the Flash, you will hear from a few hosts on the SiberCast network as we have all been on this journey saving Central City, and we though it would be fun, and fitting idea to come together to help take it off into the sunset. So between The Flash himself, xforce11, Silver Vox, and Green Butterfly, you'll never know who your hosts will be! And we might even get a surprise visit by Harley or maybe even D. Vizla...who by the way does NOT have a superhero name...so we shall have to remedy that! As for scheduling, we will be recording on Friday nights. That will allow for two days to get feedback in. Superman & Lois recording will move to Thursday night this season. Contact Information If you want to join in the discussion, you can submit feedback via email to TomorrowsLegendsPodcast@gmail.com. In the past, I needed their permission for each individual album that they released. That's rather confusing for most artists. So, I recently updated my permission form. When an artist submits their music now, That permission form is good until 2025. So all new music they submit can be played on the podcast. I am slowly reaching out to past artists on this show who have new music. But of course, there are hundreds of artists who were played on this podcast. If one of your favorite musicians has released a new album in the past five years, can you do us all a favor and ask them to submit their permission to the podcast. After you email them, drop me an email and tell me the name of the band. I will reach out to them and see if I can get their new music on the show. ATTN Celtic Musicians. I'm looking for some good stories to share. You see, I also host the Pub Songs Podcast. I started sharing stories from musicians about their songs. I'd like to do more of those. So if you have a story that you'd like to share about a song, from a gig, or maybe even just a piece of Celtic history that you love. Drop me an email at marc@marcgunn.com. Put “Pub Story” in the show subject. Tell me about your story. Maybe I'll ask you to record your story for the show. THANK YOU PATRONS OF THE PODCAST! Thought I'd share this with ya...just bought an electric bike to commute to work to save on gas money and mileage on my Jeep. It's about 40km and an hour ride, so I bought a bike helmet with speakers built in and Bluetooth connectivity, so I can listen to stuff during the journey...well your show is perfect listening for the Alberta countryside as I ride and it's about the same length too! Thanks for coming along with me! :)"

You know that hollow in your gut feeling you get when a favorite show ends and you just can't bare it? When the next week comes around and you just expect a new episode to air then get slammed with sadness that it ended the previous week? Yeah, that's what we're talking about here. Some favorite shows have ended in this last year or so, and it's a little too much. So I brought on some guests to help the grieving process by sharing their thoughts on the same shows and why it meant so much to them. So if you're a fan of any of these, sit back and fondly recall why these were so great. Covered in today's episode: Arrow Hawaii Five-0 Modern Family Whiskey Cavalier Marven's Agents of Shield Castle Game of Thrones Dark Matter Killjoys Colony The Last Ship Reign Special thanks to Jess Combs, David Cottingham, Lisa Wesner, Mark DeCotes, and Kevin Bachelder for their contributions!

What was that? Did you hear something? These are the panicked responses when something you see or hear is beyond explanation. Do you believe in ghosts? Ancient creatures no one ever sees? Or are aliens coming down and taking us away to perform experiments on? No matter what you believe, something is going on out there...on the roads, in the forests, in our homes, and we don't have the answers to explain it. Join me and my guest all the way from Adelaide Australia, Dylan Stewart of the Paranormal Thoughts Podcast, as we discuss all things creepy and unknown, and he shares his ideas and thoughts as to what they could be. Also, I share for the first time, some personal stories of things that have happened to me that I simply can't explain and can never forget, and we hear what Dylan thinks they are! What's out there? Is there life beyond our solar system? If so, what's it like? Are they visiting us? What do you believe? Welcome back to SiberCast for our second episode! For this show I have a dear friend joining me, Angela Franceschi, and we ask those very questions about space and the existence of life beyond our planet, and then discuss our opinions, and how we feel about the possibilities. So if you've ever stared at the stars wondering, pondering, imagining what the universe holds, then this is the episode for you to dive into! In the first topic, we get into just what could be out there in the vastness of space, how big it truly is, and whether we would travel to find out. Then for topic two we question the existence of alien life, if we believe they are visiting us, and what they could be after. And finally in the third topic, we dive into how movies have represented aliens, and the fears they've created, but also why we love them so much. We point out some of our favorites for you to check out! So put on your space suits, and sit back as we lift off to find out what's out there, and totally lose ourselves in the possibilities!
Welcome to SiberCast! The show where we talk about the things we're passionate about. And welcome to the very first episode! Also, as in every episode so far, movies and tv come in heavy with this topic, as there has been so many visions of what it would be like, and so we discuss many of the iterations that have been on screens, large and small. Here's a list of links to the books, films and shows we mention during this episode. With hundreds of channels, and equally as many options, it's getting more difficult these days to find good tv shows. By the same token, so many of them fall by the wayside because they just aren't being found by viewers. Well SiberCast is here to help you pass the time, and make the choice easier with a countdown of ten shows that you should be watching. Have you always been fascinated by tales of long ago passed down through generations? Stories of the Gods of Olympus, the heroes that fought their battles, and the women and creatures they met on their quests? Well join me on this journey through time as we talk mythology with a pair of guests that study and teach the subject. I welcome Alison Innes and Darrin Sunstrum from their podcast, MythTake to the show and they share with us a vast knowledge of the literature that spawned the stories of old and the movies of today. We discuss in depth what mythology means, how it relates to religion today, how it's portrayed in film, as well as a special reading by Alison of a passage from one of Homer's hymns about Apollo. If you would like to check out Alison and Darrin's podcast, or connect with them, here are the links to everything to find them! Happy birthday Canada! Today marks the 151st time we celebrate Canada Day, and I wanted to do a little special bonus episode to share some of the things that make Canada a great country! I bring up some of the facts about Canada, like geographical, population, and statistics, as well as talk about the people, the weather, and why it's a good place to live.
Welcome to our launch episode of SiberCast! What better way to kick things off than to talk about a hot topic these days - Superheroes! We have joining me for our first show, a long time friend who has lived and breathed comics his whole life, Spencer Voykin. First he'll fill us in on his history with comics, then we discuss the industry and all the changes that have happened over the years, for better or worse. Next we dive into our topics, called "issues" for this episode, beginning with the symbolism of the crests and insignias worn by the heroes. In issue two, we talk about powers and abilities and how they are used with each publisher. For issue three, we look at the stories and personalities of the characters, and what truly defines a hero. Finally, in the last issue, we finish off with a discussion about the movies and tv shows produced by Marvel and DC, and which company is doing it right. So put on your tights, grab your capes, and join us for an in depth talk about all things superhero!
