Send us a textHate traditional networking? Same. That's why I stopped doing it - and started doing this instead. This episode is a little different because the tables are turned: I'm the guest this time, joining Wendy Pitts Reeves on her Ideal Practice Podcast for a convo all about how heart-centered women can grow their businesses through real, human connection (without turning into a walking sales pitch). We talk about why traditional networking feels so gross (especially for service-based entrepreneurs), what to do instead, and how to make relationship-building feel good and actually lead to business growth. If you've ever said “networking just isn't my thing,” this one's for you.In this episode, we cover:Why “finding clients” is actually not the point of networkingSimple mindset shifts that make networking feel way less awkwardCreative ways to find networking events that don't drain your soulMy favorite trick for easing anxiety at in-person events What to do after the event to keep the connection going (without being creepy or transactional)Networking doesn't have to be awkward, exhausting, or fake. When you approach it with intention and a human-first mindset, it can actually be fun AND effective.Loved this convo? Your absolute Arch Bishop of this enterprise is cracked over the passing of Ozzy Osbourne just weeks after his beautiful last performance. Two weeks ago I blasted a 90 minute tribute to Ozzy and his band mates of Black Sabbath. A band that has made my life better for going on 10 years now, since I fell in love with their sound in my early 20's. Highlights of this episode would be the awesome 45 copy of Mama, I'm Coming Home. The song that was played on everyone's Ozzy IG tribute. Other highlights for me would be Yungblud's fantastic rendition of Changes with the Birmingham crowd, Marvin Gaye live on 45 is incredible and me personally, I'm a sucker for chopped and screwed. The Drake chopped and slopped portion wasn't half bad. Thank you, as always, for being here. I'll try not to be such a depressed hump on a log next eppy.Your Host with the Most,DJ Witwicka Juan Don RIP OZZY

Together, Judy and Jimmy illuminate the personal practices, family bonds, and daily choices that fueled her fight for freedom and her mission to reform the justice system.
No planned rhyme or reason in this installment, just what I happened to want to hear when I got back from my road trip. A beautiful weekend, with my brother and his wife birthing their baby girl, I became an uncle. Life is beautiful people. Jam this episode, listen to the birds chirp, call somebody cool, eat some fruit that you put in the fridge earlier. Maybe even make your way down to a Buffalo Wild Wings establishment and absolutely delete a dozen dry rub lemon pepper wings. Whatever keeps you from going under. Until next time, I remain a super sick internet disc jockey slightly west of the Rio Grande. Your Host with the Most,Uncle Witwicky

Welcome to Big Pile of Black Sabbath, a tribute to the patriarchs of heavy metal. Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward and Tony Iommi played their final show together last week and it did not disappoint. From the special guest surprises, to Sabbath's last performance, I was happy to be a fan. TOOL performed Hand of Doom earlier in the day. To hear Danny Carey blast a Sabbath song was wicked hot. Jason Momoa led a mosh pit. I've always loved Iommi, but Geezer Butler really cracked me with that last performance.I've never heard or imagined War Pigs played like that. Unbelievable. The underground icing on the cake in this episode was me finding a $100 plus record in a $2 crate and immediately knowing it shouldn't have been in there. Millions of things I still don't know in this realm, but I'm getting stronger like Charlie in the bush. I hope someone out there enjoyed it, thank you for being here. Until next week.. Yep, in this episode, I actually had a full-on conversation with ChatGPT to find out if AI could pull it off as a podcast partner. We cover a lot — from what a podcast even is (seriously, I told ChatGPT to pretend it didn't know), to how indie podcasters like us can use AI tools to plan, edit, organize, and even improve our show's workflow. You'll hear what worked, what didn't, and why I think AI still has a long way to go before it can totally replace that real human connection — but man, it's getting close.

This week alone, I imagine I've spent around 4-5 hours looking through crates in record stores.. and in other news, for the first time seriously inquired about playing records in a huge record store in person for shoppers and passers-by. Sent the email so we'll see what happens. I was geeked to find the original single of Jump Around from '92, the official tip-off song of my beloved Carolina Tar Heels. That greatest hits album from Little River Band didn't disappoint either. What a slapper. Really went to the moon when I found that E-40 record in the cheap LP's pile. Come on now. How about that bass registration from A Milli on wax. Holy smokes. Intermished it all with the Mulan song? Come on guys. Leave me alone. This is fantastic stuff here if I may say so myself. About to finish a doodle on the iPad now for the next shirt drop on www.coffeestainclothing.com I visited my local coffee shop today, like I do everyday, but today I showed up bearing gifts. I woke up early and found myself fondling around in the record store sorting through literally thousands of old 45's. I came away with some real heat. My favorites of the new 45 section were probably Brother Louie by Stories and James Brown's take on If I Ruled The World. My Fred Again concert footage at the end didn't turn out half bad either. I did just drop the Sheep Tee on www.coffeestainclothing.com it is a limited run never to be printed again. I do hope someone out there in existence enjoyed the episode, I am your most trusted honorable internet disc jockey, DJ Witwicka Juan Don and I'll be here next week. Can one podcast hour cover how eating carbs before bed likely puts you in progesterone deficiency and explain the many reasons that play into a female “turning out to be them/do what they do” in life? Yep. @leahhectman and I start with ‘what happens from the moment you have the extra X chromosome and are defined as female, and go where the exploration took us: It's quite a ride. You were never meant to be like ‘every other female'. What a relief. This week we unpack this science - there's so much more that makes you, you and I hope, even for all humans, it makes you feel empowered to know how much plays into ‘you-ness', whatever your sex or gender. This week with Dr Leah Hechtman, we learn the many things that make us our unique selves when we have the XX chromosome: Hormone receptors + qty of them for different hormones, unique to you!Types of hormones, Metabolic typeGenesLife stages and transitionsEnvironmental inputs laid over the top of these…You were never meant to be like every other female. There is a reason you're you and, as you might have guessed, it's due to many things. The rising awareness of the perimenopause/menopause experience adds the need to ensure we feel ‘true to ourselves' on that journey into a new life chapter, however we choose to navigate that.Enjoy the show. Send us a textYou can't build a successful business without relationships - and you can't have relationships without conflict. In this powerful conversation, I'm joined by Dr. Donna Marino, a licensed clinical psychologist and family business consultant, to talk about one thing most female entrepreneurs avoid (but desperately need to get better at): CONFLICT.The truth is that your ability to navigate conflict directly impacts your long-term business success. Whether it's with a client, contractor, collaborator, or vendor, knowing how to stay grounded and handle hard conversations is a leadership skill we all need.In this episode, we talk about:• Why conflict is a normal and necessary part of doing business • How emotional dysregulation hijacks your brain - and what to do instead • How to prep for tough conversations so they don't spiral into drama • How to build your "conflict courage muscle" If you've ever bitten your tongue, avoided an issue, or said “it's fine” when it really wasn't - this episode will give you the tools (and the mindset) to handle things differently next time.Links & References:Join us at our next PWR Virtual Speed Networking Event! For even deeper connections, check out the Powerful Women Rising Community!Connect with Dr. Marino on LinkedInListen to Dr. Marino's Courageous Conflict podcast!Support the showConnect with Your Host!Melissa Snow is a Business Relationship Strategist dedicated to empowering women in entrepreneurship. Inspiration for the cold open obviously came from me watching Goodfellas for the 100th time. How freakin unbelievably good was Scorsese's mother in that. Possibly the best overall actor in a particular scene with Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Ray Liotta, all in their primes, she steals the screen and has a top 10 all-time scene in any movie. Picking up a shovel at my mother's keeps getting better every time I see it. '98 Braves slowed reverb is really fantastic. I'm seriously considering blasting some chopped and screwed country tunes next week. How wicked hot is that. George Jones and Randy Travis chopped and screwed get outta town. In other seriously fantastic news.. I'm a single 32 year old man with no children so that affords me the luxury of spending money on vinyl records to blast for you people every week that would be good for you good for me thank you now. I did just yesterday find a rare Jai Paul Demo drop of Jasmine to match my Demo drop record of BTSTU. It is not the limited Jasmine record that smells like Jasmine, it is the older original 2012 Demo drop vinyl of Jasmine and I do believe it is sealed. A sealed copy should be at least $100-$120 but basically only nerd losers like me know this so I found the Orig 2012 Demo for $16 on eBay with no other comparable sold items in history meaning its pretty wicked rare. I only need 3 records to complete the entire library of possible Jai Paul vinyl. He/Do you love her now single numbered to 500 and signed, going anywhere from $300-$500 a pop.. The white vinyl Bait Ones drop which is cheap I'm just lazy and already have 4 copies of Bait Ones. And the limited smelling Jasmine record would be the only ones I'm needing and I'd imagine I will break down and have them all within the next year or so as I expand this ever-increasing collection. I do actually need another shelf I've run out of room. Who typed this novel in the description of my Witwicky Juan Don installment? I did try a new coffee today and I do believe it just made me black out for a second. Thank you, as always, for being here and enduring this ear beating. I hope an individual out there somewhere enjoyed it. Until next time, I remain your faithful disc jockey on the internet.Your Host with the Most,Witwicka Juan Don

Focusing on a relaxed melancholy feel for this newest installment. Hello my beloved listening audience on the inter webs. I write to you now from a wicked sweet place. Life is good, people. For starters, what a location. For millions of miles in every direction outside of this planets atmosphere, it absolutely sucks cheese. We lucked out and made it here. Gravity is keeping the layers of our atmosphere together, electromagnetic fields continue to work without fail, force of gravity is just perfect enough to keep the water where it is. Sick. Life is good. We get to just sit here and take in a wicked hot experience. Now, part of that beautiful experience was listening to DJ Witwicky's Ambient All-American installment. Much love to the people who click on this thing. Keisha, you're a bad mamma jamma. That is all for now. Bing Bong. Your Host with the Most,Throbert De Niro
Hi Jersey girls and guys! I am super excited to be doing another solo episode today! This is a topic I think about a lot and talk to different people about my opinions on it! I wish I had someone who was doing something similar to me to listen to and get advice from when I was going through the process of picking out a college so I wanted to be that person for others! In no way am I saying not to go to a 4 year school, I just wanted to share my journey and my path of college! xoxo,Your Host
It all starts about 13 years ago, with myself sitting criss-cross applesauce on the floor of my first apartment, playing Halo 3 multiplayer surrounded by my best bros. One of them, RonG took the aux of my boombox positioned below the TV and played what would turn out to be my favorite song and artist for over a decade to come. RonG played the demo version of BTSTU by Jai Paul. Immediately it became the song of my summer and really my life, I never stopped playing it. I played it on road trips, when I'm celebrating, when I'm sad. I played it at the hang out part of my brother's wedding. This album actually changed my life and makes me happy. Jai Paul only has 60K followers on Instagram and as much as I'd like to say that's a travesty.. Please don't follow Jai Paul on Instagram. Like it matters, he's a mystery in the dark in radio silence. BUT when he does pop out and show.. It's always perfect and hilarious. Not like I'm a renaissance man or anything but I rarely am jealous of other people's creative juices, but by golly.. Jai Paul is one of those people. Thank you, as always, for being here and putting up with my non sensible ramblings. Visit www.coffeestainclothing.com and see what is currently available. Just dropped the For The Birds Tee yesterday. Til next time, I remain your lowly humble servant disc jockey Your Host with the Most,Trill Murray
