His first foray into cosplaying a Bat, wasn't Bruce Wayne, but rather the red-eyed-ruthless-vigilante that is Thomas Wayne; Flashpoint Batman. His first step into cosplaying a character from Assassins Creed, wasn't the more commonly cloth-robed wearing Ezio, but rather an Ezio Auditore dawning the Armor of Brutus. @Capt.Spidey.614 joins me this week as we discuss his inspiration behind his phenomenal Flashpoint Batman and why Thomas Wayne, as well as he gives us details on the REAL LEATHER crafting that he partook in to create his Armor of Brutus for Ezio. On this episode of I Am The Wiz, Wiz reviews the 2013 DC animated film Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox featuring the voices of Justin Chambers, C. Thomas Howell, Kevin McKidd, Nathan Fillion, Michael B. Jordan, Cary Elwes, Dana Delany and Kevin Conroy, directed by Jay Oliva.
We're back with a new episode on The Flash (2023). And of course we had to bring back the DC Defender Bradford Wise for the show, although he probably wouldn't endorse this film. The potential was there with the nostalgic cameos and hints at a story similar to the beloved animated feature Flashpoint Paradox. Unfortunately, we got a convoluted plot with horrendous CGI renderings. Gotta wonder what James Gunn has planned for the DCU with the bar currently set so low...
T.J. and Marcus review the story that ruined D.C. Comics for years in the Flashpoint Paradox.

In a world of countless podcasts, one stands out for its unique blend of humor, nerd culture, and heartfelt tales. Join Charles, Joe, and Kurt in the latest episode of the Wise_N_Nerdy Podcast as they take you on a rollercoaster ride through a memorable evening of laughter and nostalgia. The episode kicks off with the age-old question, "What is the scariest movie you've ever seen?" Charles shudders at the memory of "Event Horizon," a cosmic horror masterpiece, while Joe recounts the nightmare-inducing shenanigans of "Leprechaun." With their distinct tastes in horror, it's a spooky start to the podcast. As tradition dictates, they roll the dice, and it's time for the "Let Daddy Decide" segment. Today's dilemma: is a waiter the buttface for serving garlic bread to a pregnant woman? Charles and Joe share their unique takes, sparking a hilarious debate. The dice have spoken again, leading us to the "Daddy Tell Me a Story" segment. Charles opens up about his elementary school days when he was labeled as a special education child. It's a touching moment as he shares his journey of overcoming challenges and stereotypes. Next up is the "What Are You Nerding Out About?" segment. Joe dives into "The Flash" movie, but both hosts unanimously agree it's a lackluster experience compared to the animated masterpiece, "Flashpoint Paradox." Charles shares his recent birthday gifts, including a VIP concert experience and a gourmet meal cooked by his son. Just when you think the laughter couldn't get any louder, it's time for what should have been a bad dad joke, but Devocite decides it's a perfect moment for a bad uncle joke. Prepare for groans and giggles as the punchline lands. The boys wrap it up with "Can You Dig It?" where Charles and Joe listen to several heartfelt Speakpipes from their amazing audience. It's a heartwarming moment as they connect with their fans, proving once again that the Wise_N_Nerdy community is more than just listeners; it's a family. As the episode comes to a close, remember the tagline that defines the Wise_N_Nerdy Podcast: "Remember: they may not be your father, but they'll always be your daddy." Tune in for a journey through horror, humor, and heart, because when you're with Charles and Joe, you're always in for a good time. Ever wondered what a superhero movie could teach us about real-world politics? Strap in, because we're venturing into an intriguing intersection of pop culture and politics, with DC's The Flash as our cinematic pivot point. This episode will unravel intriguing parallels between Barry Allen's timeline alterations and the current attempts to rewrite history within the US government, as we navigate the depths of the Flashpoint Theory and discuss Ezra Miller's stellar performance. We're not stopping at superheroes, though. This conversation also digs into the critical issue of affirmative action laws in the United States—originally designed to uplift minorities but later colonized and co-opted. We'll dissect how these mechanisms, tainted by white privilege and racial advantage, inadvertently contribute to societal resegregation and could be hindering the progress of diversity. And if that's not enough, we'll also shed light on the power of voting and its capacity to effect real-world change. So, are you ready to connect the world of superheroes with the hard-hitting realities of politics and societal norms?https://www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/22pdf/20-1199_hgdj.pdfhttps://www.britannica.com/topic/affirmative-actionhttp://holmesforhighpoint.comhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3tochTgPVc Support the showSubscribe on our new website! Welcome back to Checkpoint Church, your hub for faith, gaming, and everything nerdy. Today we're diving into the multiverse of DC, specifically exploring the Flashpoint Paradox storyline as featured in 'The Flash' movie. Alongside our discussion, we'll be weaving in parallels from the Gospel of Luke 14:25-33, touching on the themes of sacrifice, discipleship, and making choices. In this video, our Nerd Pastor, Nate, dissects the significance of Flashpoint in comic history and how it echoes the deep human question: If you could change the past, would you? But more than that, we explore what Jesus would have to say about it. From DC fanboy discussions to biblical interpretations, we're combining our favorite worlds. Matty P Radio Presents: Marks v. Pros & Saturday Morning Cereal
Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. This week we catch a movie, the San Diego Comic-Con way! Going back to the early aughts and our groups very first encounters with Comic-Con, there has always been one thing that you can count on to be great in every way… the DC Animated Movie Premiere! That's right, for many of us Comic-Con goers, the very first signs that comic books were about to hit the mainstream were watching those very same books, not just superheroes, leap from page to screen. This all started with the 2007 release of Superman: Doomsday a faithful adaptation of the Death of Superman event that saw the death and resurrection of the worlds greatest and 1st superhero. It was a glorious event that was celebrated with SWAG, exhibits, a world premier and panel. Since that awesome night, SDCC has seen many fan favs like, Batman: Year One, The Dark Knight Returns, Flashpoint Paradox, and The Killing Joke. So, let's look at SDCC's DC Animated Movie Premiere Nights through the lens of SDCC22 and the release of Green Lantern: Beware My Power with some of the movie's voice talent including AldisHodge (Black Adam), “Green Lantern John Stewart”, JimmiSimpson (Westworld), “Green Arrow”, JamieGrayHyder (Law & Order: SVU), “Hawkgirl”, BrianBloom, (The A-Team), "Adam Strange". Join Grim Shea, Marke, and Jimmy the Gent as they watch a comic book come to life in maybe the best way possible, with a SDCC crowd of fans who celebrate those themes of Saturday Morning TV!

The hype surrounding The Flash leading up to its release was nothing short of monumental. There were even reports of early special screenings drawing significant praise from fans, filmmakers, and critics. However, the film underperformed at the box office, riddled with jarringly poor VFX and a disappointing third act. The film's production itself was marred by controversies, from writers and directors leaving to lead star Ezra Miller's altercations with the law on more than a few occasions.

Welcome listeners to SEASON 3 - Episode 43 of The Yonkō Table! Featuring your host Yonkō DrJaceAttorney, fellow Yonkō GrandMaster Hoop, and Supernova Darce! After multiple delays and a slew of behind-the-scenes shenanigans, DCEU's The Flash finally dashes its way into theaters! What was originally supposed to be a celebration of the DCEU that was first kicked off with Man of Steel in 2013, The Flash is now in line to act as a sort of soft reboot for these DC characters moving into the Gunnverse! Plenty of hype was being spread about the film amongst executives and Hollywood elites, but was it all worth it? Is this the best DCEU film or is it subpar like the rest? Did we need more or less time with Batman and Supergirl? Was this even a good Flashpoint Paradox adaptation? AND WHAT DID YOU DO?! This and so much more, so quit swabbing the deck, come have a seat, and get fed with this week's episode of The Yonkō Table! We're about to see all of DC change.... Flash is finally coming to the big screen, and they're bringing the Flashpoint Paradox story with it! BUT!! Before we get into the theater, let's take a look back at some of the films DC has put out before it, and have a little rant about why DC just hasn't been able to nail it down, what they've done well, and what after multiple viewings still bugs the speed force out of me!

Wrapping up their month celebrating the Fastest Man Alive, it only seems fitting that the Good Brothers take a trip around the multiverse, transcending time and space with an Elseworlds review of the DTV Tuckerverse movie "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox." Hear a full breakdown and comparison of the source material and other versions of this story versus the one told in animated form. The hosts discuss a myriad of plot points before breaking down an extremely violent and murder-filled set of animation and visuals. It's not surprising that with a full length movie, also comes a full on soundtrack for Cal & Liam to discuss at length, while also having a rather large cast that includes several links to the DCAU-proper and other pop-culture icons.
