This sermon continues the Two Sets of Ten series by unpacking the commandment “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13; Deuteronomy 5:17), revealing that this command goes far deeper than the physical act of taking a life. Through Scripture, this teaching explains the crucial biblical distinction between murder and killing, showing how God's law addresses intent, justice, self-defense, and responsibility. Drawing from passages such as Exodus 21:12–13, Exodus 22:2, Leviticus 24:17, and Genesis 9:6, the message clarifies why murder is condemned while certain acts of killing—such as self-defense, protection of others, and just causes—are treated differently under God's authority.More importantly, this sermon confronts the heart issue behind murder. Jesus teaches that hatred, anger, unforgiveness, and contempt are forms of murder committed within the heart (Matthew 5:21–22; 1 John 3:15). This message challenges believers to recognize that wishing harm, holding bitterness, or harboring rage places the soul in spiritual danger. Scripture warns that unchecked thoughts give birth to sin, and sin leads to death (James 1:14–15), making forgiveness essential for spiritual life and freedom. You must take every thought captive, walk in forgiveness, and resist bitterness that can lead to spiritual destruction. By examining biblical examples—from Cain and Abel to Moses, Abraham, and God's laws concerning justice. This teaching equips believers to understand God's standards clearly and apply them faithfully in daily life. Ultimately, this sermon calls Christians to uphold life, pursue forgiveness, reject hatred, and live with hearts aligned to Christ, recognizing that obedience to this commandment begins in the mind and flows into action. If you want a deeper understanding of biblical justice, forgiveness, and the heart behind God's command, this message will challenge, correct, and strengthen your walk with Christ.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:3Leviticus 24:17James 1:14–15Deuteronomy 5:17Exodus 21:12-13Exodus 22:2Genesis 9:61 John 3:121 John 3:15Matthew 5:21-22-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Honoring parents is more than childhood obedience; it is a lifelong command rooted in God's design for blessing, order, and longevity. In part nine of the Two Sets of Ten series, this sermon explores the fifth commandment: “Honor your father and your mother” (Exodus 20:12), revealing why it is the only commandment given with a direct promise.Scripture makes clear that honoring parents is not the same as blind obedience. While children are instructed to obey their parents “in the Lord” (Ephesians 6:1), honor carries a deeper meaning. One tied to respect, reputation, gratitude, and the way a life reflects the family that raised it. Drawing from passages like Deuteronomy 5:16 and Ephesians 6:2, this message explains how honor extends beyond childhood and remains relevant even into adulthood. This teaching carefully distinguishes between honoring and obeying, offering biblical clarity for complex family dynamics. Whether parents were loving, absent, abusive, adoptive, or biological, God still calls believers to honor the role they played in bringing life and shaping identity. Jesus Himself reaffirmed this command (Matthew 15:4), underscoring its seriousness and permanence.Through biblical insight and practical application, the sermon addresses forgiveness, speech, and the power of words. Scripture warns against cursing parents (Exodus 21:17), revealing how speech reflects the heart and carries spiritual weight. Honoring parents includes refusing to speak ill of them, choosing forgiveness, and allowing God—not bitterness—to bring healing and justice. This message also challenges believers to examine how their lives bring honor or dishonor through character, conduct, and obedience to God. Proverbs and the teachings of Jesus remind us that how we live becomes a testimony—not only of our faith, but of those who raised us.Ultimately, this sermon calls believers to walk in maturity, humility, and grace. Honoring parents is not about excusing sin or maintaining unhealthy access—it is about aligning the heart with God's Word, releasing offense, and trusting His promise: that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you (Exodus 20:12).If you desire biblical clarity, healing from family wounds, and a deeper understanding of God's promises, this teaching will challenge your perspective and strengthen your walk in obedience and faith.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:12Ephesians 6:2Deuteronomy 5:16Ephesians 6:1Matthew 15:4Exodus 21:17Proverbs 22:6-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. The Sabbath is not merely a day on the calendar. It is a sacred time God set apart for rest, reflection, and renewal. This teaching invites believers to embrace the command to “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8–11; Exodus 34:21), exploring why rest is not an optional, but an essential, part of walking in obedience to God.This sermon from the “Two Sets of Ten” series examines the eighth commandment, highlighting the difference between human works and God's will. While God rested from His creative work on the seventh day (Genesis 2:2–3), He continues to accomplish His will in the world. Believers are called to rest from their labor while remaining active in God's purposes, allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through their lives in ministry, prayer, and service.Through Scripture-rich teaching, this message clarifies that the Sabbath is a time to step away from personal effort, recharge spiritually, and align daily life with God's will. Passages like Exodus 16:26 and Mark 2:27 reveal that the Sabbath was made for mankind, not mankind for the Sabbath, emphasizing rest as a gift from God, not a burden.Listeners will discover how true rest is found not merely in ceasing activity, but in engaging in God-centered pursuits that renew the soul, such as prayer, study of the Word, and ministry to others. The sermon also addresses practical application, encouraging believers to honor one day a week for God, to set aside personal labor, and to invest fully in spiritual growth and communion with Him.This teaching challenges the culture of busyness, showing that even in work, believers can operate under God's guidance and experience joy, energy, and spiritual vitality. By distinguishing between works and God's will, believers learn to live in the rhythm God intended—productive in His purposes, yet restored in their bodies and minds.Ultimately, this message calls Christians to embrace the Sabbath as a divine gift, using it to deepen their relationship with God, strengthen their spiritual discipline, and live fully aligned with His design for life and work.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:8Exodus 34:21Exodus 16:26Exodus 20:9-10Exodus 20:10bGenesis 2:2Genesis 2:3Exodus 20:11Mark 2:27-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Misusing God's name has become so common in today's culture that many believers no longer recognize it as sin, but Scripture is clear that God takes His name seriously. Part 7 of the Two Sets of Ten series confronts the third commandment head-on: “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God” (Exodus 20:7; Deuteronomy 5:11). This message calls believers to recover a holy reverence for God's name and to understand why treating it casually affects every other area of obedience.Throughout Scripture, God declares His name to be holy, powerful, and worthy of honor. From God's warning that He will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses His name, His promise that He will no longer allow His holy name to be profaned among His people (Ezekiel 39:7).This sermon reveals that how we speak reflects what we believe. When God's name is treated like a curse word, Christians become desensitized, and the world is taught that reverence no longer matters. This message challenges believers to recognize how cultural language, entertainment, and even casual speech can subtly dishonor the name of God.This teaching also clarifies common misunderstandings surrounding oaths and speech. Passages such as Leviticus 19:12, Deuteronomy 10:20, Matthew 5:34–37, and James 5:12 show that God forbids using His name falsely or casually, calling believers instead to live with integrity—letting their “yes” be yes and their “no” be no. Words carry weight, and Jesus warned that every careless word will be accounted for (Matthew 12:36–37). This sermon emphasizes that believers are ambassadors of Christ, representing Him in every conversation, every interaction, and every word spoken.Rather than passive silence, this message calls Christians to take a loving but firm stand—choosing not to support speech that profanes God's name and being willing to speak up when it is misused. Holding God's name as holy is foundational, because when reverence for God is lost, obedience to His commands soon follows (Isaiah 5:20). This sermon explains why honoring God's name protects the heart from drifting into idolatry, compromise, and spiritual apathy.Ultimately, this message points believers back to the power and purpose of God's name. His name is meant for worship, prayer, healing, authority, deliverance, and salvation—not casual language or careless oaths. If you desire to grow in holiness, strengthen your witness, and live with deeper reverence for God, this sermon will challenge your speech, renew your mind, and call you to honor the name above every name with conviction and obedience.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:7Ezekiel 39:7Isaiah 5:20Deuteronomy 5:11Leviticus 19:12Deuteronomy 10:20Matthew 5:34James 5:12Matthew 12:36-37-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Idols are not only ancient statues or carved images—they are anything that competes with God for your devotion, affection, and obedience. This teaching challenges believers to examine their homes, their habits, and their hearts to identify anything that may have taken God's rightful place. This powerful sermon from the “Two Sets of Ten” series dives deep into the second commandment, uncovering why God so clearly warns His people: “You shall not make for yourself an idol” (Exodus 20:4–6; Exodus 34:17). Through Scripture-rich teaching, this message explains how idolatry goes beyond worshiping false gods and includes possessions, traditions, symbols, and even thoughts that are elevated above the Lord. You'll learn why God describes Himself as a jealous God—not out of insecurity, but out of covenant love—and how idolatry directly violates both the command to worship God alone and the call to love Him fully (Exodus 20:3–6).Drawing from passages like Isaiah 44:9–20, this sermon exposes the foolishness and danger of idols, showing how man-made objects tied to spiritual practices become empty substitutes for the living God. The message also addresses generational consequences, clarifying the difference between generational sin and so-called “generational curses,” and pointing believers to the truth that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13).This teaching challenges listeners to walk in discernment, urging believers to remove anything connected to false worship, spiritual compromise, or misplaced devotion. From cultural traditions to treasured possessions, this sermon emphasizes that even subtle idols can hinder spiritual growth if left unchecked. True freedom comes when God alone is exalted in your life, your home, and your worship.Ultimately, this message calls believers to live in wholehearted devotion—destroying idols, renewing the mind, and choosing obedience rooted in love. When God is honored above all else, His blessing extends far beyond one generation, pouring into families and futures shaped by faithfulness (Exodus 20:6).If you're ready to confront hidden idols, deepen your walk with God, and live fully devoted to Him, this sermon will challenge, convict, and encourage you to pursue holiness with courage and clarity.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:4Exodus 20:5Exodus 34:14Isaiah 44:9Galatians 3:13Exodus 20:6Exodus 34:17Isaiah 44:9-20-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. You shall not have other gods is the first of the Ten Commandments. It is a lifelong call to exclusive devotion. In this powerful message from the “Two Sets of Ten” series, we examine what God truly meant when He declared, “You shall have no other gods before Me” (Exodus 20.3)This sermon unpacks the depth of that command, showing that it is not a suggestion or a temporary rule, but a permanent, ongoing requirement—now and forever. Many believers understand this commandment in theory, yet struggle to recognize how easily other “gods” can take God's rightful place. Through Scripture, this message reveals how money, success, careers, relationships, possessions, and even religious traditions can quietly become rivals for our devotion. God makes it clear that He alone is worthy of worship, declaring Himself a jealous God who will not share His glory with another (Exodus 34:14).This sermon explores the biblical meaning behind the phrase “shall not,” showing how God's commands are continuous and eternal—not limited to a single moment in time. From Exodus to the New Testament, Scripture emphasizes that God's authority is lasting and His Word transcends generations. “Besides Him there is no other” (Deuteronomy 4:35), and every believer is called to live with that truth at the center of daily life. You'll also gain clarity on prayer, worship, and spiritual authority by examining passages like 1 Timothy 2:5 and 1 Corinthians 8:5–6. The Bible affirms that there is one God, one mediator—Jesus Christ—and no place for praying to saints, idols, or created things. This message helps believers realign their theology, their prayer life, and their focus back to God alone.Practical examples challenge listeners to examine their priorities honestly. What consumes your time, energy, and passion? What do you protect, pursue, or trust more than God? Scripture warns that when anything takes God's place, it becomes a false god—and the consequences are spiritual drift and divided devotion (Colossians 3:23, 1 Timothy 6:10).Ultimately, this sermon calls believers to wholehearted surrender. To live for God means doing everything unto Him, recognizing Him as the source, authority, and purpose of life. When God is first, everything else falls into proper alignment. If you desire spiritual clarity, renewed devotion, and freedom from hidden idols, this message will challenge and strengthen your walk with Christ.Let the Holy Spirit reveal where your focus needs realignment, and commit to living out the first commandment with conviction, obedience, and love—because there truly is no other God besides Him.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:3Exodus 34:141 Timothy 2:51 Corinthians 8:5-6Exodus 23:131 Timothy 6:10Deuteronomy 4:35Colossians 3:23Isaiah 45:5-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. The Ten Commandments are more than rules. They are God's covenant with His people, revealing His heart and guiding us toward holiness. In part four of the “Two Sets of Ten” series, we examine the Ritualistic Ten Commandments, the set written on the stone tablets known as the Tablets of the Covenant (Exodus 34:14–26). Unlike the Moralistic Ten, which focus on loving God and loving others, the Ritualistic Ten include ceremonial laws, feasts, and instructions for purity that were designed to set God's people apart. While we no longer follow these rituals literally, understanding them gives insight into God's character, His covenantal expectations, and the way the Old Testament points to Christ. This sermon explores each command in the Ritualistic Ten, from worshipping no other gods to celebrating the feasts, honoring the Sabbath, offering the first fruits, and maintaining purity in sacrifices (Exodus 34:14–26). You'll learn how these commandments intersect with the Moralistic Ten, why some appear in both sets, and how God's instructions were meant to guide His people in obedience, reverence, and love. Though the specific rituals are fulfilled in Christ, they reflect the timeless principle of living in holiness and devotion to God, reminding believers that obedience flows from love (Matthew 22:37–40).Through practical application, this message encourages believers to understand both sets of commandments, engage with Scripture intentionally, and explain the Bible accurately to others. You'll see how God's spoken Word transcends time, how the laws reveal His heart, and how the New Covenant fulfills and perfects the Old. By studying these commands, taking notes, and reflecting on their meaning, you are equipped to live a life that mirrors God's holiness, love, and compassion. This sermon challenges you to renew your mind, embrace God's Word fully, and live out His commands daily, teaching others and walking in obedience with purpose and conviction.Referenced Verses: Exodus 34:28Exodus 34:1Exodus 34:14Exodus 34:15Exodus 34:17Exodus 34:18Exodus 34:19Exodus 34:21Exodus 34:22Exodus 34:25Exodus 34:26Exodus 24:12-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Understanding the Ten Commandments requires more than recognizing a historical list. It requires grasping the moral foundation God designed to shape His people. In this third message of the “Two Sets of Ten” series, this sermon explores what many believers call “the Moralistic Ten,” the most widely known yet least truly understood set of commandments in Scripture (Exodus 20:3–17). While countless people can reference them, very few can name more than a handful, and even fewer understand how deeply they reflect God's character and His call to holy living. This message challenges believers to move beyond cultural familiarity and toward genuine obedience. You'll learn why Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15) and how the entire moral law can be summarized through Christ's simple but profound command: love God and love your neighbor (Matthew 22:37–40). When we live in true agape love, we naturally avoid the sins God warns us against—lying, stealing, adultery, idolatry, and more—because real love produces real obedience.Through a detailed walk-through of Exodus 20, this sermon highlights each commandment and shows how God delivered them with authority, intention, and permanence. You'll discover the importance of the phrase “you shall not,” the difference between temporary instruction and everlasting command, and how God communicates His will in both present and enduring terms. From honoring the Sabbath to honoring your parents, each commandment is explored for its spiritual weight, practical relevance, and connection to a life transformed by the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2).This message also encourages believers to engage the world with confidence and compassion. You'll learn a simple, powerful method for sharing the gospel in everyday conversations—guiding someone from believing they're a “good person” to understanding their need for salvation through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). These commandments are not only moral guidelines; they are evangelistic tools that reveal the truth about sin, righteousness, and redemption.Above all, this sermon reminds believers that God's law is rooted in love. The first commandments teach us how to love God faithfully, the remaining ones teach us how to love others rightly, and together they reflect the heart of God. When Jesus said to “walk and keep on walking,” He revealed the ongoing nature of spiritual growth—growing, obeying, learning, and living in a way that reflects His love each day.If you desire a deeper understanding of the Ten Commandments, a stronger walk with Christ, and a renewed passion for holy living, this message will guide you step-by-step. Understanding the Ten Commandments requires more than simply knowing a list. It requires grasping the weight, the history, and the spiritual significance behind God's covenant with His people. In this powerful continuation of the “Two Sets of Ten” series, this message explores Moses' eight journeys up Mount Sinai, revealing how deeply God desired for His people to receive, understand, and live out His commandments. These weren't casual instructions—they were delivered through a process that involved sacrifice, fasting, reverence, and divine encounter (Exodus 19–34).Many people claim to believe in the Ten Commandments, yet few can name them or explain their meaning. This sermon challenges believers to move beyond surface-level faith and embrace the call to live differently—to “wear the uniform of Christ” and reflect His holiness daily. Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15), and this message helps believers understand what that commitment truly looks like. You'll learn the difference between memorizing God's law and writing it on your heart through the renewing of your mind and alignment with the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2).Through detailed biblical exploration, you'll walk through Moses' repeated trips up the mountain (Exodus 19, 20, 24, 32, 34), the breaking of the stone tablets, and God's reaffirmation of His covenant. This message highlights the significance of the spoken commandments in Exodus 20 and the written covenant in Exodus 34, offering clarity on what Scripture actually refers to as “the Ten Commandments.” It invites believers to dig deeper, study harder, and take ownership of their spiritual growth by diving into Scripture with intentionality and hunger. This sermon also emphasizes discipleship—raising up believers to become spiritual leaders in their own communities. You'll be encouraged to step into your calling, learn the Word, live it out, and pass it on. Exactly as Moses was faithful to deliver God's message, you are called to be faithful in your family, your home, and your circle of influence (2 Timothy 2:2). Spiritual growth requires effort, discipline, and a willingness to be transformed. If you're ready to deepen your understanding of God's law, strengthen your walk with Christ, and discover the importance of the covenant God established through Moses, this message will guide you step-by-step. Let the Holy Spirit illuminate Scripture, reveal truth, and empower you to not only know God's commandments—but to live them out daily with conviction and purpose.Referenced Verses: Exodus 19:2-7Exodus 19:8Exodus 19:10Exodus 19:20-25Exodus 20:21Exodus 24:1Exodus 24:12Exodus 32:15Exodus 32:19Exodus 32:31-32Exodus 34:1-2Exodus 34:28-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. This powerful message launches a 14-week deep-dive into one of the most foundational teachings in all of Scripture: the Ten Commandments. Whether you've known them for years or can barely name a few, this introductory sermon reveals why these commandments still matter, how they fit within the 613 Old Testament laws, and what Jesus meant when He summarized the entire law in only two commands—love God and love your neighbor (Matthew 22:36–40). You'll learn why there are actually two sets of “Ten Commandments,” what distinguishes the moral commandments from the ritual commandments, and why understanding both will strengthen the way you live out your faith each day.Through key passages like James 2:10, Exodus 34:1, Leviticus 18:4, John 14:15, and John 14:21, this message exposes how breaking even one commandment reveals our need for spiritual growth—and why God calls us to pursue obedience from a place of love, devotion, and daily surrender. You'll be challenged to evaluate your own life: Have you lied? Stolen? Taken the Lord's name in vain? Looked at someone or something with lust or covetousness? These everyday struggles show why studying God's commands is essential for every believer who desires genuine transformation. This sermon also emphasizes the importance of renewing your mind (Romans 12:2), digging into Scripture for yourself, and preparing your heart to receive deeper revelation from the Holy Spirit. By understanding the commandments more clearly, you'll gain greater confidence in your walk with Christ and become better equipped to share biblical truth with others. You'll discover how love—real, God-centered love—is the foundation for every command, and how practicing it daily positions you to grow in wisdom, maturity, and Christlike character. If you're ready to strengthen your faith, learn the truth about the Ten Commandments, and build a life grounded in God's Word, this message is the perfect place to begin. The very fact that you can dream, imagine, and look ahead is evidence that you were designed for the future. Scripture is filled with moments of stepping into the new—moving from glory to glory, crossing rivers, leaving what's familiar—and we believe this year holds that same invitation for us. As Prayer and Fasting begins, we're creating space to listen, to reset our posture, and to let hope shape what's next. This Sunday we talked about holding two ideas together: Taking Ground and Enlarging Territory. One calls us to move into what is not yet ours; the other calls us to grow in capacity for what has already been entrusted to us. When held together, they push back against shame, deception, and apathy—and open us to the promises of God. Like Jabez, we're choosing to believe that our past does not define our future, and that God is eager to bless, expand, and walk with us as we move forward. We're stepping into this year believing there is no stagnation—only seasons of movement and seasons of growth. Let's take ground together, enlarge our hearts, and trust that God is already at work in what's ahead.

Have you ever wondered what your soul really is and why God cares so deeply about it? In this powerful sermon, we explore the threefold nature of humanity: spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). You are a spiritual being living in a physical body, with a soul that holds your mind, heart, and identity. God looks beyond outward appearances and sees the condition of your inner life—the thoughts you think, the desires you nurture, and the choices you make.Through scriptures like Matthew 16:26, James 5:20, and Romans 12:2, this message reveals the importance of crucifying the desires of the flesh and renewing your mind. Your soul can be transformed when you take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Exactly as Nebuchadnezzar lost his mind and lived like a wild animal when he turned away from God, believers today are called to protect their souls from pride, worldly desires, and sinful influences. This sermon teaches practical ways to align your spirit, soul, and body with God's will. By meditating on Scripture, obeying God's Word, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide your actions, you can experience spiritual transformation and live as a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). When your mind and body submit to the Spirit, you become bright, salty, and alive in Christ, empowered to accomplish your divine purpose on earth. You'll also learn how God's impartial love calls us to treat others with equity, reject favoritism, and lead by example in love (James 2:1–4, Galatians 3:28). Spiritual growth is not just an internal process—it impacts the way you relate to others, serve your community, and reflect God's character in everyday life. Renewing your mind and purifying your soul isn't optional; it's essential for living a life of righteousness, love, and obedience (Romans 6:6–14, Colossians 3:1–10).If you want to understand the depth of your soul, unite your spirit, soul, and body, and walk in alignment with God's purpose, this message will inspire and guide you. Allow the Holy Spirit to ignite your heart, transform your thoughts, and empower your actions as you pursue spiritual maturity and a life fully devoted to Christ.Referenced Verses: James 5:20Matthew 16:26Matthew 10:28Malachi 2:9James 2:4Matthew 7:2-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Christmas is often called a time of giving, but what does that truly mean for believers? In this powerful sermon, “Christmas Is a Time of Giving,” we dive into the biblical foundation of giving and discover how this season reflects the heart of God Himself. From John 3:16, where God gave His only Son out of love, to Matthew 2:11, where the wise men presented gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, giving is at the core of God's character. Every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17), and through Christ, we've already received the greatest gift of all—eternal life. This message challenges you to look beyond holiday traditions and worldly distractions to rediscover the true meaning of Christmas. Are we giving for love, or just following human customs? Learn why Jesus' birth, though not on December 25th, is still worth celebrating as a reminder of God's ultimate gift to humanity. Like the shepherds who witnessed the Savior's arrival (Luke 2:17), we are called to go out and share the good news with others, spreading the light of Christ in a dark world. As believers, we're commanded to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19–20). That begins with giving—the gift of truth, love, and the gospel message. Use this season to reflect God's generosity by sharing your faith, encouraging others, and pointing them to Jesus, the greatest gift of all. Christmas is more than a tradition; it's an opportunity to live out the love of God every day.Referenced Verses: John 3:16Matthew 2:11John 19:39Luke 2:17James 1:17Matthew 28:16-20-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Are you ready to receive what God has for you? In this powerful sermon, you'll learn how to position your heart and mind to receive God's blessings, direction, and divine provision. Many believers pray for breakthrough but never prepare to handle it. God has plans to prosper you, not to harm you—plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). But if you aren't abiding in Him and renewing your mind daily through Scripture, you may not be ready to receive the blessings He's waiting to pour out.Through passages like John 15:4, Romans 12:2, and 1 Corinthians 3:1–3, this message reveals the importance of spiritual maturity and transformation. Paul reminds us that immature believers can't handle the “solid food” of deeper faith, and Jesus calls us to abide in Him so that we may bear much fruit. Being ready to receive means letting go of pride, growing in character (Romans 5:3–4), and staying rooted in God's Word. When you commit to the Lord whatever you do (Proverbs 16:3), your plans will succeed—because they'll align with His will. You'll also be challenged to evaluate what influences your life. Are you supporting godly, biblical content—or things that pull you away from God's truth? This sermon dives deep into spiritual discernment, showing how the Holy Spirit reveals what should stay and what must go. As you seek God with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13) and draw near to Him (2 Chronicles 15:2), He will draw near to you, revealing His plan and preparing you to receive every promise He's made.If you're ready to grow in faith, overcome spiritual immaturity, and step into God's divine plan, this message will help you prepare. Be ready to receive more than you can ask or imagine, because when you seek first His kingdom (Matthew 6:33), everything else will be added to you.Referenced Verses: Jeremiah 29:111 Corinthians 3:1-3Romans 5:3-4Jeremiah 29:132 Chronicles 15:2Proverbs 16:3Matthew 6:33-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. What if God's plans for His church were bigger than we could imagine? As this week unfolded, I'm more convinced than ever: there has never been a greater need for the Church of Jesus Christ than right now. Jesus promised, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” In this message from 2 Timothy 1:6–12, Pastor Jeff shows how taking ground fortifies the church—by stirring up every believer's gifts, living with Spirit-given courage (not timidity), boldly proclaiming the Gospel, and entrusting our lives and mission to Christ. We're not launching a campaign for buildings or chairs; we're advancing the cause of Christ. If we had three more campuses today, they'd be full—because God is moving. Join us as we deploy gifts, step forward in faith, and make Jesus known in our families, our city, and our culture. Speaker: Jeff Schwarzentraub

I was raised as a cessationist. That means I was raised to believe that all miracles and revelations and spiritual gifts ENDED when Jesus ASCENDED and the New Testament was finished. Only the APOSTLES were able to access them. This means that when the last apostle died, those special abilities ceased. They were only necessary to validate Jesus and the church to help it get established, and would not be needed after that. Is that true? This study investigates that view, and you might just be surprised what Scripture actually teaches in this area. (By the way, if I was a paid preacher at most any kind of church today, WHATEVER position I took would most probably get me fired. The good news for me is that since you don't pay me you can't fire me. Therefore I am free to just teach what the BIBLE says on this.)
