Misusing God's name has become so common in today's culture that many believers no longer recognize it as sin, but Scripture is clear that God takes His name seriously. Part 7 of the Two Sets of Ten series confronts the third commandment head-on: “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God” (Exodus 20:7; Deuteronomy 5:11). This message calls believers to recover a holy reverence for God's name and to understand why treating it casually affects every other area of obedience.Throughout Scripture, God declares His name to be holy, powerful, and worthy of honor. From God's warning that He will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses His name, His promise that He will no longer allow His holy name to be profaned among His people (Ezekiel 39:7).This sermon reveals that how we speak reflects what we believe. When God's name is treated like a curse word, Christians become desensitized, and the world is taught that reverence no longer matters. This message challenges believers to recognize how cultural language, entertainment, and even casual speech can subtly dishonor the name of God.This teaching also clarifies common misunderstandings surrounding oaths and speech. Passages such as Leviticus 19:12, Deuteronomy 10:20, Matthew 5:34–37, and James 5:12 show that God forbids using His name falsely or casually, calling believers instead to live with integrity—letting their “yes” be yes and their “no” be no. Words carry weight, and Jesus warned that every careless word will be accounted for (Matthew 12:36–37). This sermon emphasizes that believers are ambassadors of Christ, representing Him in every conversation, every interaction, and every word spoken.Rather than passive silence, this message calls Christians to take a loving but firm stand—choosing not to support speech that profanes God's name and being willing to speak up when it is misused. Holding God's name as holy is foundational, because when reverence for God is lost, obedience to His commands soon follows (Isaiah 5:20). This sermon explains why honoring God's name protects the heart from drifting into idolatry, compromise, and spiritual apathy.Ultimately, this message points believers back to the power and purpose of God's name. His name is meant for worship, prayer, healing, authority, deliverance, and salvation—not casual language or careless oaths. If you desire to grow in holiness, strengthen your witness, and live with deeper reverence for God, this sermon will challenge your speech, renew your mind, and call you to honor the name above every name with conviction and obedience.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:7Ezekiel 39:7Isaiah 5:20Deuteronomy 5:11Leviticus 19:12Deuteronomy 10:20Matthew 5:34James 5:12Matthew 12:36-37-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Idols are not only ancient statues or carved images—they are anything that competes with God for your devotion, affection, and obedience. This teaching challenges believers to examine their homes, their habits, and their hearts to identify anything that may have taken God's rightful place. This powerful sermon from the “Two Sets of Ten” series dives deep into the second commandment, uncovering why God so clearly warns His people: “You shall not make for yourself an idol” (Exodus 20:4–6; Exodus 34:17). Through Scripture-rich teaching, this message explains how idolatry goes beyond worshiping false gods and includes possessions, traditions, symbols, and even thoughts that are elevated above the Lord. You'll learn why God describes Himself as a jealous God—not out of insecurity, but out of covenant love—and how idolatry directly violates both the command to worship God alone and the call to love Him fully (Exodus 20:3–6).Drawing from passages like Isaiah 44:9–20, this sermon exposes the foolishness and danger of idols, showing how man-made objects tied to spiritual practices become empty substitutes for the living God. The message also addresses generational consequences, clarifying the difference between generational sin and so-called “generational curses,” and pointing believers to the truth that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law (Galatians 3:13).This teaching challenges listeners to walk in discernment, urging believers to remove anything connected to false worship, spiritual compromise, or misplaced devotion. From cultural traditions to treasured possessions, this sermon emphasizes that even subtle idols can hinder spiritual growth if left unchecked. True freedom comes when God alone is exalted in your life, your home, and your worship.Ultimately, this message calls believers to live in wholehearted devotion—destroying idols, renewing the mind, and choosing obedience rooted in love. When God is honored above all else, His blessing extends far beyond one generation, pouring into families and futures shaped by faithfulness (Exodus 20:6).If you're ready to confront hidden idols, deepen your walk with God, and live fully devoted to Him, this sermon will challenge, convict, and encourage you to pursue holiness with courage and clarity.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:4Exodus 20:5Exodus 34:14Isaiah 44:9Galatians 3:13Exodus 20:6Exodus 34:17Isaiah 44:9-20-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. You shall not have other gods is the first of the Ten Commandments. It is a lifelong call to exclusive devotion. In this powerful message from the “Two Sets of Ten” series, we examine what God truly meant when He declared, “You shall have no other gods before Me” (Exodus 20.3)This sermon unpacks the depth of that command, showing that it is not a suggestion or a temporary rule, but a permanent, ongoing requirement—now and forever. Many believers understand this commandment in theory, yet struggle to recognize how easily other “gods” can take God's rightful place. Through Scripture, this message reveals how money, success, careers, relationships, possessions, and even religious traditions can quietly become rivals for our devotion. God makes it clear that He alone is worthy of worship, declaring Himself a jealous God who will not share His glory with another (Exodus 34:14).This sermon explores the biblical meaning behind the phrase “shall not,” showing how God's commands are continuous and eternal—not limited to a single moment in time. From Exodus to the New Testament, Scripture emphasizes that God's authority is lasting and His Word transcends generations. “Besides Him there is no other” (Deuteronomy 4:35), and every believer is called to live with that truth at the center of daily life. You'll also gain clarity on prayer, worship, and spiritual authority by examining passages like 1 Timothy 2:5 and 1 Corinthians 8:5–6. The Bible affirms that there is one God, one mediator—Jesus Christ—and no place for praying to saints, idols, or created things. This message helps believers realign their theology, their prayer life, and their focus back to God alone.Practical examples challenge listeners to examine their priorities honestly. What consumes your time, energy, and passion? What do you protect, pursue, or trust more than God? Scripture warns that when anything takes God's place, it becomes a false god—and the consequences are spiritual drift and divided devotion (Colossians 3:23, 1 Timothy 6:10).Ultimately, this sermon calls believers to wholehearted surrender. To live for God means doing everything unto Him, recognizing Him as the source, authority, and purpose of life. When God is first, everything else falls into proper alignment. If you desire spiritual clarity, renewed devotion, and freedom from hidden idols, this message will challenge and strengthen your walk with Christ.Let the Holy Spirit reveal where your focus needs realignment, and commit to living out the first commandment with conviction, obedience, and love—because there truly is no other God besides Him.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:3Exodus 34:141 Timothy 2:51 Corinthians 8:5-6Exodus 23:131 Timothy 6:10Deuteronomy 4:35Colossians 3:23Isaiah 45:5-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. The Ten Commandments are more than rules. They are God's covenant with His people, revealing His heart and guiding us toward holiness. In part four of the “Two Sets of Ten” series, we examine the Ritualistic Ten Commandments, the set written on the stone tablets known as the Tablets of the Covenant (Exodus 34:14–26). Unlike the Moralistic Ten, which focus on loving God and loving others, the Ritualistic Ten include ceremonial laws, feasts, and instructions for purity that were designed to set God's people apart. While we no longer follow these rituals literally, understanding them gives insight into God's character, His covenantal expectations, and the way the Old Testament points to Christ. This sermon explores each command in the Ritualistic Ten, from worshipping no other gods to celebrating the feasts, honoring the Sabbath, offering the first fruits, and maintaining purity in sacrifices (Exodus 34:14–26). You'll learn how these commandments intersect with the Moralistic Ten, why some appear in both sets, and how God's instructions were meant to guide His people in obedience, reverence, and love. Though the specific rituals are fulfilled in Christ, they reflect the timeless principle of living in holiness and devotion to God, reminding believers that obedience flows from love (Matthew 22:37–40).Through practical application, this message encourages believers to understand both sets of commandments, engage with Scripture intentionally, and explain the Bible accurately to others. You'll see how God's spoken Word transcends time, how the laws reveal His heart, and how the New Covenant fulfills and perfects the Old. By studying these commands, taking notes, and reflecting on their meaning, you are equipped to live a life that mirrors God's holiness, love, and compassion. This sermon challenges you to renew your mind, embrace God's Word fully, and live out His commands daily, teaching others and walking in obedience with purpose and conviction.Referenced Verses: Exodus 34:28Exodus 34:1Exodus 34:14Exodus 34:15Exodus 34:17Exodus 34:18Exodus 34:19Exodus 34:21Exodus 34:22Exodus 34:25Exodus 34:26Exodus 24:12-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Understanding the Ten Commandments requires more than recognizing a historical list. It requires grasping the moral foundation God designed to shape His people. In this third message of the “Two Sets of Ten” series, this sermon explores what many believers call “the Moralistic Ten,” the most widely known yet least truly understood set of commandments in Scripture (Exodus 20:3–17). While countless people can reference them, very few can name more than a handful, and even fewer understand how deeply they reflect God's character and His call to holy living. This message challenges believers to move beyond cultural familiarity and toward genuine obedience. You'll learn why Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15) and how the entire moral law can be summarized through Christ's simple but profound command: love God and love your neighbor (Matthew 22:37–40). When we live in true agape love, we naturally avoid the sins God warns us against—lying, stealing, adultery, idolatry, and more—because real love produces real obedience.Through a detailed walk-through of Exodus 20, this sermon highlights each commandment and shows how God delivered them with authority, intention, and permanence. You'll discover the importance of the phrase “you shall not,” the difference between temporary instruction and everlasting command, and how God communicates His will in both present and enduring terms. From honoring the Sabbath to honoring your parents, each commandment is explored for its spiritual weight, practical relevance, and connection to a life transformed by the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2).This message also encourages believers to engage the world with confidence and compassion. You'll learn a simple, powerful method for sharing the gospel in everyday conversations—guiding someone from believing they're a “good person” to understanding their need for salvation through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). These commandments are not only moral guidelines; they are evangelistic tools that reveal the truth about sin, righteousness, and redemption.Above all, this sermon reminds believers that God's law is rooted in love. The first commandments teach us how to love God faithfully, the remaining ones teach us how to love others rightly, and together they reflect the heart of God. When Jesus said to “walk and keep on walking,” He revealed the ongoing nature of spiritual growth—growing, obeying, learning, and living in a way that reflects His love each day.If you desire a deeper understanding of the Ten Commandments, a stronger walk with Christ, and a renewed passion for holy living, this message will guide you step-by-step. Let the Holy Spirit illuminate truth, shape your character, and empower you to love God and others with conviction and purpose.Referenced Verses: Exodus 20:3Exodus 20:4-6Exodus 20:7Exodus 20:8-11Exodus 20:12Exodus 20:13Exodus 20:14Exodus 20:15Exodus 20:16Exodus 20:17-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Understanding the Ten Commandments requires more than simply knowing a list. It requires grasping the weight, the history, and the spiritual significance behind God's covenant with His people. In this powerful continuation of the “Two Sets of Ten” series, this message explores Moses' eight journeys up Mount Sinai, revealing how deeply God desired for His people to receive, understand, and live out His commandments. These weren't casual instructions—they were delivered through a process that involved sacrifice, fasting, reverence, and divine encounter (Exodus 19–34).Many people claim to believe in the Ten Commandments, yet few can name them or explain their meaning. This sermon challenges believers to move beyond surface-level faith and embrace the call to live differently—to “wear the uniform of Christ” and reflect His holiness daily. Jesus said, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15), and this message helps believers understand what that commitment truly looks like. You'll learn the difference between memorizing God's law and writing it on your heart through the renewing of your mind and alignment with the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2).Through detailed biblical exploration, you'll walk through Moses' repeated trips up the mountain (Exodus 19, 20, 24, 32, 34), the breaking of the stone tablets, and God's reaffirmation of His covenant. This message highlights the significance of the spoken commandments in Exodus 20 and the written covenant in Exodus 34, offering clarity on what Scripture actually refers to as “the Ten Commandments.” It invites believers to dig deeper, study harder, and take ownership of their spiritual growth by diving into Scripture with intentionality and hunger. This sermon also emphasizes discipleship—raising up believers to become spiritual leaders in their own communities. You'll be encouraged to step into your calling, learn the Word, live it out, and pass it on. Exactly as Moses was faithful to deliver God's message, you are called to be faithful in your family, your home, and your circle of influence (2 Timothy 2:2). Spiritual growth requires effort, discipline, and a willingness to be transformed. If you're ready to deepen your understanding of God's law, strengthen your walk with Christ, and discover the importance of the covenant God established through Moses, this message will guide you step-by-step. Let the Holy Spirit illuminate Scripture, reveal truth, and empower you to not only know God's commandments—but to live them out daily with conviction and purpose.Referenced Verses: Exodus 19:2-7Exodus 19:8Exodus 19:10Exodus 19:20-25Exodus 20:21Exodus 24:1Exodus 24:12Exodus 32:15Exodus 32:19Exodus 32:31-32Exodus 34:1-2Exodus 34:28-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. This powerful message launches a 14-week deep-dive into one of the most foundational teachings in all of Scripture: the Ten Commandments. Whether you've known them for years or can barely name a few, this introductory sermon reveals why these commandments still matter, how they fit within the 613 Old Testament laws, and what Jesus meant when He summarized the entire law in only two commands—love God and love your neighbor (Matthew 22:36–40). You'll learn why there are actually two sets of “Ten Commandments,” what distinguishes the moral commandments from the ritual commandments, and why understanding both will strengthen the way you live out your faith each day.Through key passages like James 2:10, Exodus 34:1, Leviticus 18:4, John 14:15, and John 14:21, this message exposes how breaking even one commandment reveals our need for spiritual growth—and why God calls us to pursue obedience from a place of love, devotion, and daily surrender. You'll be challenged to evaluate your own life: Have you lied? Stolen? Taken the Lord's name in vain? Looked at someone or something with lust or covetousness? These everyday struggles show why studying God's commands is essential for every believer who desires genuine transformation. This sermon also emphasizes the importance of renewing your mind (Romans 12:2), digging into Scripture for yourself, and preparing your heart to receive deeper revelation from the Holy Spirit. By understanding the commandments more clearly, you'll gain greater confidence in your walk with Christ and become better equipped to share biblical truth with others. You'll discover how love—real, God-centered love—is the foundation for every command, and how practicing it daily positions you to grow in wisdom, maturity, and Christlike character. If you're ready to strengthen your faith, learn the truth about the Ten Commandments, and build a life grounded in God's Word, this message is the perfect place to begin. Have you ever wondered what your soul really is and why God cares so deeply about it? In this powerful sermon, we explore the threefold nature of humanity: spirit, soul, and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). You are a spiritual being living in a physical body, with a soul that holds your mind, heart, and identity. God looks beyond outward appearances and sees the condition of your inner life—the thoughts you think, the desires you nurture, and the choices you make.Through scriptures like Matthew 16:26, James 5:20, and Romans 12:2, this message reveals the importance of crucifying the desires of the flesh and renewing your mind. Your soul can be transformed when you take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Exactly as Nebuchadnezzar lost his mind and lived like a wild animal when he turned away from God, believers today are called to protect their souls from pride, worldly desires, and sinful influences. This sermon teaches practical ways to align your spirit, soul, and body with God's will. By meditating on Scripture, obeying God's Word, and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide your actions, you can experience spiritual transformation and live as a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). When your mind and body submit to the Spirit, you become bright, salty, and alive in Christ, empowered to accomplish your divine purpose on earth. You'll also learn how God's impartial love calls us to treat others with equity, reject favoritism, and lead by example in love (James 2:1–4, Galatians 3:28). Spiritual growth is not just an internal process—it impacts the way you relate to others, serve your community, and reflect God's character in everyday life. Renewing your mind and purifying your soul isn't optional; it's essential for living a life of righteousness, love, and obedience (Romans 6:6–14, Colossians 3:1–10).If you want to understand the depth of your soul, unite your spirit, soul, and body, and walk in alignment with God's purpose, this message will inspire and guide you. Allow the Holy Spirit to ignite your heart, transform your thoughts, and empower your actions as you pursue spiritual maturity and a life fully devoted to Christ.Referenced Verses: James 5:20Matthew 16:26Matthew 10:28Malachi 2:9James 2:4Matthew 7:2-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Christmas is often called a time of giving, but what does that truly mean for believers? In this powerful sermon, “Christmas Is a Time of Giving,” we dive into the biblical foundation of giving and discover how this season reflects the heart of God Himself. From John 3:16, where God gave His only Son out of love, to Matthew 2:11, where the wise men presented gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, giving is at the core of God's character. Every good and perfect gift comes from above (James 1:17), and through Christ, we've already received the greatest gift of all—eternal life. This message challenges you to look beyond holiday traditions and worldly distractions to rediscover the true meaning of Christmas. Are we giving for love, or just following human customs? Learn why Jesus' birth, though not on December 25th, is still worth celebrating as a reminder of God's ultimate gift to humanity. Like the shepherds who witnessed the Savior's arrival (Luke 2:17), we are called to go out and share the good news with others, spreading the light of Christ in a dark world. As believers, we're commanded to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19–20). That begins with giving—the gift of truth, love, and the gospel message. Use this season to reflect God's generosity by sharing your faith, encouraging others, and pointing them to Jesus, the greatest gift of all. Christmas is more than a tradition; it's an opportunity to live out the love of God every day.Referenced Verses: John 3:16Matthew 2:11John 19:39Luke 2:17James 1:17Matthew 28:16-20-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Are you ready to receive what God has for you? In this powerful sermon, you'll learn how to position your heart and mind to receive God's blessings, direction, and divine provision. Many believers pray for breakthrough but never prepare to handle it. God has plans to prosper you, not to harm you—plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). But if you aren't abiding in Him and renewing your mind daily through Scripture, you may not be ready to receive the blessings He's waiting to pour out.Through passages like John 15:4, Romans 12:2, and 1 Corinthians 3:1–3, this message reveals the importance of spiritual maturity and transformation. Paul reminds us that immature believers can't handle the “solid food” of deeper faith, and Jesus calls us to abide in Him so that we may bear much fruit. Being ready to receive means letting go of pride, growing in character (Romans 5:3–4), and staying rooted in God's Word. When you commit to the Lord whatever you do (Proverbs 16:3), your plans will succeed—because they'll align with His will. You'll also be challenged to evaluate what influences your life. Are you supporting godly, biblical content—or things that pull you away from God's truth? This sermon dives deep into spiritual discernment, showing how the Holy Spirit reveals what should stay and what must go. As you seek God with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13) and draw near to Him (2 Chronicles 15:2), He will draw near to you, revealing His plan and preparing you to receive every promise He's made.If you're ready to grow in faith, overcome spiritual immaturity, and step into God's divine plan, this message will help you prepare. Be ready to receive more than you can ask or imagine, because when you seek first His kingdom (Matthew 6:33), everything else will be added to you.Referenced Verses: Jeremiah 29:111 Corinthians 3:1-3Romans 5:3-4Jeremiah 29:132 Chronicles 15:2Proverbs 16:3Matthew 6:33-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. God doesn't play favorites. In this powerful sermon, “God Is Impartial,” discover how the Lord judges with perfect fairness and equity. The Bible makes it clear that God shows no partiality and accepts no bribes (Deuteronomy 10:17). He sees all people as equal in His sight, whether Jew or Gentile, male or female, slave or free (Galatians 3:28). This message challenges believers to reflect God's impartial nature in their own lives and relationships. In a world filled with favoritism, prejudice, and discrimination, God calls us to be different. As Acts 10:34 declares, “God does not show partiality.” That means no favoritism, no bias, and no double standards. We are all one in Christ Jesus, and every believer has equal access to God's love, mercy, and salvation. Learn how to live with biblical equity, treating others equally, and fairly—according to their needs and God's standard of justice (Psalm 9:8, Romans 2:11, James 2:1).This sermon also explores the difference between equality and equity from a biblical perspective. God judges with equity because He knows our hearts, our circumstances, and our callings. He is perfectly fair, holding teachers, leaders, and believers accountable according to the responsibilities He's given them (James 3:1). You'll gain insight into how God's impartiality shapes true Christian character—humility, love, and righteousness guided by the Holy Spirit. If you want to be more like Christ, you must learn to see others the way God sees them. This message will inspire you to love your neighbor as yourself, show no favoritism, and walk in spiritual maturity by living out God's impartial nature. Dive into the Scriptures, study their context, and let the Holy Spirit transform the way you see and treat others.Referenced Verses: Deuteronomy 10:17Acts 10:34Galatians 3:28Romans 2:11James 2:1Psalms 9:8-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. What does the Bible really say about sex outside of marriage? In this powerful message, “Sex Outside Marriage,” discover God's truth about purity, holiness, and the covenant of marriage. While the world normalizes sexual sin, God's Word calls believers to a higher standard—one rooted in faith, obedience, and love. This sermon tackles a topic many avoid, yet it's one that is vital for spiritual growth and the health of families, relationships, and society as a whole.Scripture makes it clear that sex before marriage (fornication) and sex outside marriage (adultery) are sins against God and against your own body. As 1 Corinthians 6:18 says, “Flee from sexual immorality… whoever sins sexually sins against their own body.” God designed sex as a beautiful gift within marriage—a sacred act that unites husband and wife as one flesh (Genesis 2:24). When that design is perverted, it leads to brokenness, guilt, and spiritual damage. Yet through repentance and faith in Jesus, there is forgiveness and restoration. This sermon explores powerful passages like Deuteronomy 22:13–28, 1 Corinthians 7:2, and Hebrews 13:4, showing how God's plan for purity has never changed. Jesus Himself said that even looking with lust is sin (Matthew 5:28), reminding us that purity begins in the heart. You'll also learn how to guard your thoughts, avoid temptation, and strengthen your walk with Christ through obedience and the power of the Holy Spirit. If you've fallen short in this area, know this truth: Jesus has already paid the price for your sins. When you repent, He forgives and restores. You don't need to live in shame or condemnation.Turn back to God and “go and sin no more” (John 8:11). This message will challenge you to honor the marriage bed, live in sexual purity, and represent Christ faithfully in every part of your life.Referenced Verses: Deuteronomy 22:13-28Deuteronomy 22:21Deuteronomy 22:221 Corinthians 7:2Hebrews 13:41 Corinthians 6:18-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. When was the last time you stopped to thank God for what He's already done in your life? In this inspiring message, “Thankfulness Reminder,” you'll discover the power of living each day with a heart full of gratitude. God calls us to be thankful in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18), not just when life is going well. True thankfulness is a choice—a daily reminder that God is faithful, present, and always working on your behalf. This sermon reveals how to keep God at the center of your thoughts by creating personal reminders that help you stay thankful throughout your day. Whether it's a bracelet, a cross, or even something as simple as noticing a car with one headlight out, small reminders can point your heart back to God's goodness. As 2 Chronicles 15:2 says, “The Lord is with you when you are with Him.” When you seek Him with all your heart (Jeremiah 29:13), you'll find that He's been with you all along. You'll also learn why meditating on Scripture day and night (Joshua 1:8, Deuteronomy 6:6–8) is the key to prosperity, peace, and spiritual growth. True meditation isn't about emptying your mind—it's about filling it with God's Word. The Holy Spirit is your teacher, guiding you into all truth and reminding you of God's promises that are already “Yes and Amen” in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20).Through powerful verses like Psalm 106:1, Ephesians 5:20, and 1 Chronicles 16:34, this message challenges you to replace worry with worship and fear with faith. Gratitude transforms your heart and opens your eyes to the blessings already around you. When you begin to thank God in every circumstance, you'll see His provision, protection, and purpose unfold in your life.Take this message as your reminder to be thankful—every day, in every moment. Start your own thankfulness reminder today and watch your faith and joy grow as you continually praise God for His goodness, mercy, and love that endures forever (Psalm 107:1).Referenced Verses: 2 Chronicles 15:2bJoshua 1:8Deuteronomy 6:6-81 Thessalonians 5:18Ephesians 5:20Psalms 106:1Psalms 107:1Psalms 100:41 Chronicles 16:34-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Do you know that in God's design, the day actually begins at night? In this powerful message, “Day Begins at Night,” discover how evening time carries deep spiritual significance throughout Scripture—from Genesis to the Psalms to Daniel. The Bible says, “There was evening and there was morning—the first day” (Genesis 1:5), reminding us that every new day starts with trust, rest, and faith in God's protection. Learn how to begin your spiritual day with God before you go to sleep, relying on His promises to guard and sustain you through the night. The night is often when we are most vulnerable—our minds are restless, and our bodies are defenseless. Yet the Word of God offers peace and assurance: “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety” (Psalms 4:8). In this sermon, you'll learn how to fill your evenings with faith, prayer, and scripture, allowing God's Word to work within your soul and spirit even as you sleep. Discover how reading the Bible before bed strengthens your relationship with God, deepens your spiritual routine, and fills your dreams with divine peace and purpose. When you end your day with the Word of God, you invite the Holy Spirit to work in your subconscious and transform your heart overnight. Scripture reminds us, “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them” (Psalm 34:7). By trusting God in the darkness, you'll awaken with renewed peace, wisdom, and spiritual strength. Establishing an evening routine of prayer and Bible reading is not only a good habit—it's a spiritual weapon that brings sweet sleep, protection, and growth (Proverbs 3:24).Let this message inspire you to start your spiritual day each night, trusting that God's angels are surrounding you, His Word is filling you, and His peace is covering you. Are your prayers truly reaching God—or are you just telling Him what you want? In this powerful message, “Don't Tell God,” discover how to pray in the Spirit, align your will with God's, and experience a deeper relationship with the Holy Spirit. Learn how true prayer isn't about giving God instructions—it's about surrendering to His perfect plan and trusting Him to provide what's best for your life.In this sermon, you'll uncover what it means to pray in the Spirit and build a two-way connection with God. Many believers talk to God without taking time to listen, but real prayer is about communication and alignment. As Ephesians 6:18 teaches, “Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.” When you pray scripture and allow the Holy Spirit to intercede for you, your prayers carry divine power and purpose. This message explores the importance of praying in tongues, speaking your heavenly prayer language, and letting God's Word shape your prayers. Learn how to cast your cares upon the Lord (1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 55:22), trust His timing, and seek heavenly things rather than earthly desires. When you seek first the kingdom of God (Matthew 6:33) and ask for wisdom, discernment, and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9, Philippians 1:9–11, 1 Kings 3:9), your prayers begin to reflect the heart of God instead of the will of man. This teaching will encourage you to strengthen your prayer life, grow in faith, and walk daily in the power of the Holy Spirit. Whether you're new to prayer or longing for deeper spiritual growth, this message will help you stop telling God what to do and start inviting Him to lead every part of your life.Referenced Verses: Ephesians 6:81 Peter 5:7Psalms 55:22Psalms 119:125Colossians 1:9Philippians 1:9-11Matthew 6:331 Kings 3:9-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. From the beginning of creation, God established the seventh day as holy. Genesis 2:2-3 tells us, “By the seventh day God had finished the work He had been doing; so on the seventh day He rested… Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy.” The weekly Sabbath was not merely a command—it was a gift, a divine invitation to rest, reflect, and reconnect with our Creator. In Exodus 20:8-11, God commands His people: “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” This day was set apart for rest from labor, spiritual renewal, and honoring God's provision. Jesus affirmed the Sabbath's purpose in Mark 2:27, saying, “The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.” It is a blessing, not a burden.Keeping the weekly Sabbath is more than abstaining from work; it's about realigning our hearts with God, restoring our souls, and remembering who we are in Him. In a world of constant busyness and noise, the weekly Sabbath reminds us that our worth is not in what we do, but in who we belong to.This sermon calls us back to God's rhythm—one day each week to stop, worship, and delight in the One who created and sustains us.Referenced Verses: Exodus 34:21Exodus 20:8-11Genesis 2:3Exodus 16:26Leviticus 23:3Mark 2:27Hebrews 4:1-11-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Before his fall, Satan—originally known as Lucifer—was a magnificent angel created by God with a high and holy purpose. What was Satan's original purpose? Ezekiel 28:12-15 describes him as “the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty… anointed as a guardian cherub.” Lucifer dwelled in the very presence of God, appointed to serve and protect the holiness of Heaven.Satan's original purpose reflected honor, worship, and leadership among the heavenly hosts. Isaiah 14:12 refers to him as the “morning star,” suggesting a position of brilliance and influence. He was not created as evil but as good, endowed with freedom, beauty, and responsibility.Yet pride corrupted his purpose. Lucifer sought not to serve God but to be like God. Isaiah 14:13-14 reveals his downfall: “I will ascend to Heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God...” This rebellion led to his expulsion from Heaven and transformation into Satan, the adversary.Even the highest can fall when pride overtakes their purpose. However, God's authority prevails, and His purposes stand firm. Understanding Satan's origin teaches us to stay humble, obedient, and grounded in God's will.Referenced Verses: Ezekiel 28:13Ezekiel 28:14Isaiah 14:12-14Proverbs 16:5Revelation 12:7-9Luke 10:18Ezekiel 28:17Proverbs 11:2Proverbs 29:23Proverbs 16:18-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. At the heart of the gospel is a powerful truth: God will always love you. He is not merely a distant Creator. He is your loving Father. His love is not based on your performance, perfection, or past. It is unconditional, unwavering, and eternal. 1 John 3:1 declares, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”No matter what you've done or how far you've strayed, God's love remains constant. Like the father in Luke 15 who ran to welcome his prodigal son, God longs to restore, embrace, and pour grace upon you. His love isn't earned, it's given freely through Jesus Christ. Romans 8:38-39 assures us that “nothing can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”Your identity is not in failures or circumstances, but in being sons and daughters of a faithful, compassionate Father. When the world rejects you, when you feel unworthy or alone, remember, God's arms are open. His love never fails, never fades, and never ends. He is your Father, and He will always love you.Referenced Verses: Luke 15:11-32Galatians 4:6Acts 3:191 Corinthians 8:6Matthew 7:11Romans 8:35-39Revelation 3:20-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. In your walk with God, you may experience closing doors - relationships end, opportunities fade, or seasons shift. While such closures may seem like losses, Scripture reveals they are often divine redirections. Proverbs 16:9 reminds us, "In his heart a man plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps." When one door shuts, it is not always a rejection. Sometimes it is a preparation. When God is closing doors in your life, He doesn't merely open another door. Sometimes, He breaks down entire walls to make a way where there seemed to be none. In Acts 16, Paul and his companions were kept from entering certain regions. Eventually, they were allowed to enter an area, and many people gave their lives to Christ. Isaiah 43:19 declares, "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness..."Try to see closing doors as catalysts for greater breakthroughs rather than endings. Trust that God is the One who breaks down walls, and when He leads, no barrier can stand. Walk by faith, knowing that sometimes closing doors are the beginning of something far greater.Referenced Verses: Revelation 3:7-8Proverbs 16:9Acts 16:6-7Romans 8:281 Corinthians 16:51 Corinthians 16:9-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Life can weigh heavily on our hearts. Whether it is worries about the future, burdens from the past, or anxiety in the present, God can take it. He never intended for us to carry these loads. Scripture invites us to lay down our burdens at His feet. In 1 Peter 5:7, we are told, “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.” God is not distant from our pain; He wants to take it.Jesus gave the same invitation: “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). No emotion is too overwhelming, no fear too great, and no burden too heavy for the Lord. He is our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1), a present help in trouble. When we bring our struggles to Him in prayer and faith, He offers peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:6–7). Give it to Him, and experience the peace only He can provide.Remember that God can take it: stress, sorrow, fears, anger, etc.. We never have to carry it alone. Trust the One who is strong enough to carry it all. In times of confusion, pain, or loss, we often ask, “Why?” But Scripture teaches us that nothing in our lives is wasted—God has a divine purpose for everything that happens. Romans 8:28 reminds us, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” Even when we don't understand the reason, we can trust that God is working behind the scenes.God's ways and purposes are higher than earthly ways and purposes (Isaiah 55:8-9), but when we renew our minds, we will understand His ways and purposes (Romans 12:2). Remember, whether facing trials, delays, or unexpected turns, nothing is accidental in the hands of a sovereign God. Through every season, God is shaping, teaching, and preparing His people. There is a reason for everything—even if we can't see it now. In God's perfect plan, every piece has purpose, and every moment has meaning. Life brings seasons of joy, sorrow, uncertainty, and change—but one truth remains unshakable: God is there. Psalm 46:1 declares, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” No matter what happens—whether we face loss, failure, sickness, or fear—God does not abandon His children. His presence is constant, not conditional. We must remember that.Colossians 3:17 reminds us to "do everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Jesus Himself instructed believers to "do this in remembrance of me" (Luke 22:19). We must remember that God is there. He never forgets us, but sometimes we forget Him.Fortunately, God's presence is not determined by circumstances. Romans 8:38-39 assures us that “nothing can separate us from the love of God.” In every high and every low, He is Emmanuel—God with us.When storms rage and questions go unanswered, remember: God is still on the throne. He sees us, walks with us, and holds us in the palm of His hand. No matter what happens, we are never alone—because God is there.Referenced Verses: Deuteronomy 31:8Matthew 28:20Luke 22:19Colossians 3:17Joshua 1:8Joshua 1:92 Corinthians 5:20-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. In our darkest moments, when strength is gone and hope seems lost, God is not silent—He is sovereign. Scripture reminds us that being "down to nothing" is often God's starting point for doing something extraordinary. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul declares, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” When we reach the end of ourselves, God begins to reveal His power in ways we couldn't imagine.God wants you to continually seek Him and to put your hope in Him (Lamentations 3:25). Remember that God is always up to something, and if you let Him, He will bless you abundantly. Therefore, put your hope, faith, and trust in God. The one who is more than able to meet all of your needs and the needs of everyone in the world (Ephesians 3:20). Receive what He has to offer and always remember that when you are down to nothing, He is up to something amazing that will lift you up.He is crafting a miracle, aligning circumstances, and building your faith. In Christ, identity is transformed. You are not who you used to be. Before you knew Christ, you may have accepted that you are a sinner. Now that you know Christ, you must change your identity and accept that you were a sinner. The moment you surrendered to Jesus, your status changed—from sinner to saint, from lost to found, from dead in sin to alive in righteousness. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come” (2 Corinthians 5:17). This sermon is a declaration of your new identity in Christ.Yes, all have sinned (Romans 3:23), but when you are born again, you are no longer defined by your past mistakes. You are defined by God's grace. You were a sinner, but now you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21). God doesn't only forgive; He transforms. This message will encourage you to shift your identity into the new creation. Stop living under the weight of who you were and start walking in who you are. It's time to break the agreement with shame and step into the freedom of your redeemed identity. You're not only saved from sin—you're called to holiness, purpose, and victory. Let go of the old labels. God has rewritten your story. You were a sinner. Jesus declared in Matthew 6:22-23, “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness.” This powerful truth reminds us that what we focus on determines the direction of our lives. The eye—our spiritual and moral perception—shapes how we see the world, ourselves, and God. If our eyes are fixed on light, truth, righteousness, and the things of God, then our lives reflect His glory. But if our gaze is consumed by darkness, sin, envy, lust, and pride, our inner world becomes clouded, confused, and broken. This sermon calls us to guard our vision, both physically and spiritually. Psalm 101:3 says, “I will set no worthless thing before my eyes.” What we watch, read, and dwell on either fuels our faith or feeds our flesh. God is calling His people to spiritual clarity—eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). When your vision is pure, your purpose is clear. Let the light of Christ flood your heart by choosing to see what He sees. The eye is the lamp of the body, and where the eye looks, the life follows. Choose the light.Referenced Verses: Matthew 6:22-23Philippians 4:8-9Ephesians 5:8Luke 11:35Psalms 101:3Matthew 5:14-16-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Jesus spoke with divine urgency about the seriousness of sin: “If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into Hell” (Matthew 5:30). You must take radical steps to guard your hearts and minds from anything that leads you away from God. Whether it's a habit, relationship, environment, or thought pattern—if it's pulling you into sin, it has no place in your life, and you must get rid of it.Hebrews 12:1 says to “lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely.” Sin doesn't just stain—it entangles, it traps. You are called to freedom, not bondage, so get rid of it.Holiness requires discipline and sometimes painful decisions. What you surrender in the flesh, you gain in the Spirit. Jesus didn't die for you to remain entangled in the very things He came to break you free from. This message is a wake-up call to spiritual surgery—cut off what corrupts, and pursue what purifies. God offers grace not only to forgive sin, but to empower you to overcome it. Choose life. Choose obedience. Choose freedom. Choose to get rid of it.Referenced Verses: Matthew 5:29-30Romans 6:12Hebrews 12:1Ephesians 4:22-23Proverbs 4:14-15Proverbs 13:20-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. In Christ, forgiveness is not partial—it's total. Scripture says that when God forgives, He chooses to remember your past sins no more: "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more" (Hebrews 8:12). The blood of Jesus cleanses you completely, not only from some sins, but from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Therefore, stop walking in the shadow of your past, burdened by guilt that Heaven no longer acknowledges. Align your mind with the mercy of God. If He, the Judge of all, has wiped your slate clean, who are you to hold on to what He has already erased?Romans 8:1 declares, “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” That includes self-condemnation. Let this message set captives free from shame. Forgiveness isn't merely a gift—it's a release. God has not only forgiven you; He's forgotten the offense. Walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4). Don't dig up what God has buried in your past. If you are forgiven, your past has no power over you—grace has the final word. And grace says: It is finished.Referenced Verses: 2 Corinthians 10:51 Peter 5:82 Corinthians 7:10John 10:101 Corinthians 13:5Isaiah 43:25Acts 3:19Psalms 103:12-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. As a Christian, you carry a hope that the world desperately needs and are not ashamed of that hope. It is a living hope found in Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 3:15 says, “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” This hope is not meant to be hidden or silenced; it is meant to shine. In a time when fear, doubt, and darkness surround so many, believers are called to boldly and lovingly share the good news of salvation. Romans 1:16 declares, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone who believes…” The gospel is not just a story—it is a life-changing power. Therefore, rise above fear, rejection, or the need for approval and instead stand firm in your faith. Your testimony, your story, and your hope can be the light someone else needs. Don't hide what God has done in you—declare it with courage and compassion. Be not ashamed, delighted in your Savior, confident in your calling, and bold in your witness. The world needs hope, and you carry it within you. Be not ashamed—speak life!Referenced Verses: 1 Timothy 2:15Philippians 4:13Romans 1:16Joshua 1:9Matthew 13:44Luke 12:12Exodus 4:12-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. God is a miracle-working God, but He often invites us to partner with Him through faith and action. James 2:17 reminds us that, “Faith without action is dead.” While God has the power to move mountains, sometimes we are asked to meet God halfway. Miracles still happen, but obedience opens the door.Throughout Scripture, we see this divine partnership in action. Noah had to build the ark. Moses had to stretch out his hand. The woman with the issue of blood had to reach out and touch Jesus' garment. In each case, God's power met their willingness to move. Philippians 2:12-13 says, “Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act…”—a beautiful picture of us doing our part while God empowers the rest. This message challenges us to be active participants in our walk and to meet God halfway. He provides strength, direction, and provision, but we must take the steps. Don't simply wait for a breakthrough—prepare for it. Pray, plan, and press forward. When you're willing to work and meet God halfway, you'll discover that He's already moving toward you.Referenced Verses: Philippians 4:19James 4:32 Thessalonians 3:102 Thessalonians 3:12Matthew 7:27Proverbs 20:4Matthew 10:101 Timothy 5:8-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Do you ever feel like somebody's watching you? That's because nothing escapes the eyes of God. He sees all, knows all, and is present in every moment of your life. Proverbs 15:3 says, “The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good.” This truth isn't meant to instill fear but to remind you of God's constant presence, care, and accountability.God watched over Adam and Eve in the garden and even after the fall, His gaze never left humanity. Psalms 139 beautifully says that there is nowhere you can go to escape His presence.Whether in your private thoughts or public actions, God sees the heart behind it all. Therefore, strive to live with integrity, even when no one else is watching, because God always is. His watchfulness is not about punishment—it's about love, guidance, and protection. He sees your struggles, your obedience, your pain, and your praise. Knowing that God is always watching should lead you to faithfulness rather than fear. Let it be a source of comfort and conviction—because His eyes are on you, not to condemn, but to lead and love.Referenced Verses: Proverbs 15:3Hebrews 4:13Deuteronomy 31:8Psalms 121:5-8Psalms 32:8Psalms 139:3Matthew 10:26Matthew 10:28-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. In a world where silence often feels safer than truth, God's Word calls His people to boldly speak up for what is right. Proverbs 31:8-9 commands, “Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves… defend the rights of the poor and needy.” Speaking up is not merely about opinion—it's about aligning our voices with God's justice. From Moses standing before Pharaoh, to Esther risking her life before the king, the Bible is full of faithful examples of those who stood for righteousness in critical moments.Jesus Himself never remained silent in the face of injustice. He spoke truth with love, corrected the proud, and lifted the broken. As His followers, we are called to do the same. Ephesians 4:15 urges us to “speak the truth in love,” not for the sake of argument, but for the sake of righteousness. When we choose courage over comfort, our words can become instruments of healing, hope, and transformation. To speak up for what is right is to reflect the heart of God. Silence may be easy, but righteousness demands a voice.Referenced Verses: Leviticus 5:1James 4:17Proverbs 19:18Jonah 3:5-10Matthew 18:15Proverbs 11:13Galatians 6:12 Timothy 3:16-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. The Bible teaches the importance of guarding your heart and mind, as what you listen to can significantly impact your spiritual well-being. In Matthew 11:15, Jesus says, "Whoever has ears, let them hear," emphasizing the importance of not only hearing but discerning what you allow into your life and the lives of those around you. The things you listen to shape your thoughts, influence your actions, and ultimately direct your path and the paths of those around you.Proverbs 4:23 says, "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Your little ears are gateways to your heart, and if you constantly expose yourself to negativity, gossip, or worldly wisdom, it can corrupt your thoughts and lead you away from God's truth. As a follower of Christ, you must be intentional about what you allow to enter your mind through your little ears. The words you listen to should align with God's truth, build up your faith, and encourage righteousness. In Romans 10:17, Paul writes, "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ." Be mindful of the voices you allow to speak into your life and seek to fill your little ears with the life-giving Word of God.Referenced Verses: Proverbs 4:14-17Matthew 5:181 Corinthians 15:331 Corinthians 5:11Proverbs 22:24-25Proverbs 13:20Mark 4:24-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. "Be Careful Little Eyes What You See" is a powerful sermon that directs you to reflect on the impact of what you allow into your heart and mind through your little eyes. This message calls you to be intentional and discerning about the things you expose yourself to. The eyes are often considered the gateway to the soul, and what you choose to look at can shape your thoughts, desires, and ultimately, your actions. You must examine the media, entertainment, relationships, and environments you engage with daily. Whether it's the images you consume, the words you read, or the places you visit, all have the potential to either uplift or lead you astray. By prioritizing purity and focusing on what is good, true, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8), you can protect your heart and live in alignment with God's will.Ultimately, this sermon serves as a reminder that your little eyes, and what they see, have a profound influence on your spiritual journey. You must be vigilant and mindful in guarding what you allow to enter your life and the lives of those around you.Referenced Verses: Matthew 6:22-23Psalms 101:3Job 31:1Matthew 5:292 Samuel 11:2-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. In this busy, fast-paced world, the call to give God more time can often be challenging. You juggle work, family, and countless other responsibilities, leaving little room for spiritual growth. But what if the key to experiencing true peace and purpose lies in the simple fact that you need to give God more time? There is tremendous importance in dedicating intentional time to God amidst the busyness of life. Scripture encourages believers to "seek first the kingdom of God" (Matthew 6:33), reminding you that when you place God at the center of your daily routines, everything else falls into place. By carving out moments each day to pray, read Scripture, and simply be in His presence, you allow God to guide and transform your life. It's not about having more hours in the day but about making the most of the time you already have. As you give God more time, you deepen your relationship with Him, find clarity in your purpose, and experience the abundant life He promises.Make the commitment to give God more time in your life and discover the joy that comes from seeking Him first.Referenced Verses: Proverbs 16:3Colossians 3:2Matthew 6:331 Peter 4:3-4Luke 12:34Deuteronomy 4:24-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Do you know the most important thing? In today's fast-paced world, the pressure to succeed and achieve can sometimes overshadow the true essence of work. Many people strive for success, but they often forget that the journey itself is just as significant as the destination. In this sermon, we'll explore the profound truth that working hard is not only about achieving outcomes but also about embracing the joy of the process.God calls us to use our gifts and talents with diligence and commitment, but He also wants us to find fulfillment and joy in our labor. In Ecclesiastes 3:22, we are reminded that "there is nothing better for a person than that he should enjoy his work, for that is his lot." Hard work, when done with purpose and joy, becomes an act of worship. It allows us to reflect God's character in our daily lives. Join us as we delve into how we can cultivate a heart of gratitude and joy in our work. Whether in our careers, studies, or personal projects, the most important thing is not just working hard, but finding meaning and enjoyment in all that we do. This sermon will inspire you to see work not only as a duty but as a divine opportunity to grow and thrive.Referenced Verses: 1 Kings 3:12James 1:5Proverbs 4:5-7Ecclesiastes 3:22Ecclesiastes 12:8Ecclesiastes 3:12-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. As a follower of Christ, you are called to reflect His love and grace in all areas of your life, this includes how you treat others. James 2:1 commands no favoritism, "My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism." Favoritism, or showing partiality, is rooted in human sin and pride, and it contradicts the inclusive love of God.In Acts 10:34-35, Peter declares, “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.” God's love is impartial, extending to everyone regardless of status, race, or background. As His child, you must mirror that love and treat everyone with equal respect and dignity.Galatians 3:28 further emphasizes that, in Christ, there is no distinction between Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male or female. All are one in Him. Favoritism creates division, but the body of Christ is meant to be united in love.To live with no favoritism means embracing God's view of equality. It means seeing others through His eyes, valuing them as He values you, and living out His command to love your neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39).Referenced Verses: James 2:1James 2:2-4Job 34:19Leviticus 19:15Proverbs 28:21Galatians 3:28James 2:9Romans 2:11Ephesians 6:9Acts 10:34-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. As a believer, one of your most essential callings is to share God and the message of God's love and salvation with others. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commands His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey all that He has commanded. This Great Commission is not only for pastors or evangelists but for every Christian. The responsibility to share God extends to all who have experienced His grace.Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” The gospel is the good news that has the power to change lives, and it's meant to be shared. Whether through words, actions, or even the way you live, sharing God allows others to witness His transformative power.2 Corinthians 5:20 says that believers are Christ's ambassadors, entrusted with the message of reconciliation. The world needs to hear about the hope, peace, and love that only God can offer. In a world full of uncertainty, you must be intentional and share God more often—because it is through Him that lives are truly changed.Referenced Verses: Matthew 13:44Hebrews 4:12Matthew 28:19-20Proverbs 6:21Proverbs 7:2-3Psalms 37:4-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. Arguing, especially when it's rooted in pride and stubbornness, can have devastating consequences, much like the breach of a dam. Proverbs 15:1 reminds us, "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." Arguments, when fueled by anger or pride, can escalate quickly, breaking down relationships and creating unnecessary tension. Another reason why there should be no arguing. In James 3:5-6, we are warned about the power of the tongue: "The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body." Exactly like a small crack in a dam can lead to catastrophic flooding, a single argument, if not controlled, can flood our hearts with bitterness and resentment. It is important to recognize that words have the power to build or destroy. When we engage in constant arguing, we risk breaching the emotional and relational dam that holds peace together. Ephesians 4:29 says to avoid unwholesome talk and to speak words that build others up according to their needs. By choosing peace over conflict, we preserve unity and guard against the destructive forces of uncontrolled arguments. To keep the "dam" from breaking, we must practice humility, seek understanding, and speak with love, remembering that our words reflect our hearts.Referenced Verses: Proverbs 17:142 Timothy 2:23Titus 3:2Philippians 2:14Proverbs 26:4-5Mark 16:15Proverbs 15:1Proverbs 20:3Psalms 37:8Proverbs 29:22Ecclesiastes 7:9-Social Media Ministries, founded by Spencer Coffman, is committed to sharing the Word of God with the entire world. The Bible is clear that sexual impurity leads to devastating consequences, both spiritually and physically. In 1 Corinthians 6:18, Paul warns, "Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body." Sexual impurity defiles the body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19), resulting in spiritual separation from God and a loss of fellowship with Him. Proverbs 6:27-29 illustrates the destructive nature of sexual sin, comparing it to a fire that consumes everything it touches. "Can a man carry fire next to his chest and his clothes not be burned?" Impurity leads to broken relationships, emotional scars, and regret, as it goes against God's design for marriage and purity. Hebrews 13:4 reminds us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." Furthermore, sexual impurity opens the door to other sins, such as lying, deceit, and unfaithfulness, which can destroy trust and relationships (Romans 1:24-27). The Bible calls believers to live in holiness, as the consequences of impurity are not only temporal but eternal, separating individuals from the fullness of God's presence. Sexual purity, on the other hand, leads to peace, joy, and a closer walk with God. The Bible teaches that sexual lust is a sinful desire that stems from a heart of impurity and disobedience to God's commands. Jesus, in His Sermon on the Mount, emphasized the seriousness of lust, saying in Matthew 5:27-28, “You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” Lust is not just an outward act; it begins in the heart and mind, corrupting one's inner being and defiling their relationship with God. In 1 John 2:16, the apostle warns against "the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life," which are not from the Father but from the world. Lust is a temptation that can lead believers away from God's perfect will, drawing them into a life of impurity and sin. As believers, we are called to live in purity, setting our minds on things above and not on earthly desires (Colossians 3:2). We are urged to flee from temptation and renew our minds through the Word of God (Romans 12:2). In doing so, we honor God and protect our hearts from the destructive power of sexual lust which ultimately leads to death. The Bible consistently warns believers to flee sexual immorality, emphasizing its destructive power and the call to holiness. In 1 Corinthians 6:18, Paul directly commands, “Flee sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.” Sexual sin not only defiles the individual but also grieves the Holy Spirit and damages the body, which is the temple of God (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). Immorality includes a wide range of sexual behaviors outside the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, and the Bible calls these actions sinful and contrary to God's design for purity. In 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, Paul further instructs believers to “abstain from sexual immorality,” urging them to live in holiness and honor, not in passionate lust like the Gentiles who do not know God. Sexual purity is a reflection of our identity in Christ and a testimony to the world of God's sanctifying work in our lives. Believers are called to actively flee from these temptations, relying on God's strength to walk in purity and honor Him with their bodies. Unbelievers are lost and are often described in the Bible as being confused and wandering in spiritual darkness. In Ephesians 4:18, the Apostle Paul describes them as "having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart." Without the guiding light of faith in Christ, they are like sheep without a shepherd, caught in a maze of moral confusion and spiritual aimlessness (Matthew 9:36). The Bible reveals that unbelievers are separated from God due to sin, which blinds their hearts and minds (2 Corinthians 4:4). Their inability to understand the truth of the Gospel leaves them spiritually lost, unable to find the way to eternal life. As Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Outside of Christ, there is no true direction, no hope of reconciliation with God. This state of confusion and separation from God is not only a present condition but leads to eternal consequences if not addressed through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:36). Ultimately, the Bible calls believers to share the light of the Gospel with the lost, offering them the path to salvation and truth.
