Medical collections can be a huge problem for anyone trying to repair credit. We’ve all received unexpected bills from the hospital or clinic and wondered why our insurance didn’t cover it...Sometimes these bills are HUGE and most folks have a hard time being able to pay them!Unfortunately, this is not a debt that just goes away if you don’t pay. BUT, as a Credit Hero, there are secret ways to fight back and WIN! And today, I’m gonna share with you exactly how. So stick around!Key Takeaways for This Week:What happens if you don’t pay off medical debts? (0:00)Can medical facilities legally sell your information to collection agencies? “ANYTHING and EVERYTHING deleted in days not months” … I’m sure you’ve seen the ads and I’m sure you’ve wondered, “What are they doing to get such crazy results and how can I do the same?”The simple truth of all these ads claiming to IMMEDIATELY erase EVERYTHING negative on your report is… It’s a SCAM called “credit sweeps”.And it’s super scary and dangerous because it’s ruining thousands of people’s lives every day.The term “credit sweeps” is a phrase and marketing gimmick to make you believe the process of removing negative information is legal and legitimate, when in fact it’s not.Not only is it not legitimate, but it’s also illegal in most cases! The process of “sweeping a credit report” can only happen by lying to the police, by making false claims to the credit bureaus and ultimately you can get JAIL TIME for this!Today, I’m exposing the SCARY truth of how people are getting these kinds of results and why you should RUN as fast as you can in the opposite direction as soon as you see something like this!Key Takeaways for This Week:What are “credit sweeps”? Does the idea of going to battle with the credit bureaus and disputing items on your client’s credit report scare you? It’s okay if it does. You’re not alone! But the truth is, credit disputing is all based on the fact that it’s your right or your client’s right to repair their credit, and to delete inaccurate, incomplete, and outdated negative credit history. Even accurate items can be removed because often, there’s something inaccurate in how they were reported. The Fair Credit Reporting Act and other laws give you the legal right to dispute anything on your credit report. Anything! So in today’s article, I’m going to take the overwhelm out of the disputing process and simplify it, so it’s easy to do even if you’re a beginner.Key Takeaways for This Week:What does it mean to dispute items on a credit report? Those of you who are familiar with my story know that I didn’t come from money. When I was only 13, I was out on street corners, juggling my way to making a living. And even at that very young age, I was obsessed with the question of luck. This Week: What happened to Chavis Carter? It is a pregnant question, potentially even an explosive one. Carter died of a gunshot wound to the temple on the last Saturday in July, but the question about his death has only grown louder and more urgent since then. It is beginning to gather national attention. So we need an answer soon, either so that suspicions can be put to rest and some imperfect peace achieved, or so that suspicions can be validated and some equally imperfect justice sought. The problem is, there are two possible answers to the question, and neither one of them makes much sense. Call in to voice your thoughts and our opinions - 718-664-6543.
