    Ivy Insights

The Trans Questioning Podcast is an incredibly impactful and insightful podcast hosted by Sarah Zedig. This podcast delves into the journey of gender questioning and eventual transition, offering a space for Sarah to share their experiences, knowledge, and passion for film, television, and various forms of media. The best aspect of this podcast is its ability to resonate with listeners who are navigating their own gender identity by providing relatable experiences, insights into self-esteem, dysphoria, mental and physical health, and valuable knowledge on a wide range of subjects. The guests on the show add depth and diversity to the discussions, making it a valuable resource for anyone seeking understanding or validation in their own transgender experience.

While The Trans Questioning Podcast excels in many areas, there are a few potential downsides worth mentioning. Firstly, some listeners expressed a desire for more clarity regarding the purpose or direction of the podcast. However, this may also be seen as a strength as it allows for an organic exploration of different aspects of trans experiences without feeling constrained by specific expectations. Additionally, some episodes may be emotionally challenging due to their raw and honest nature. While this authenticity is commendable, it may not be suitable for everyone at all times.

In conclusion, The Trans Questioning Podcast is an informative and thought-provoking resource that offers solace and relatability to individuals questioning their gender identity. Sarah Zedig's articulate hosting style combined with diverse guest perspectives creates an enriching listening experience. It serves as both an audio diary chronicling one person's transition journey and a channel for sharing wisdom about living as transgender. Despite any potential uncertainties around its direction or emotional intensity in certain episodes, this podcast remains an invaluable source of support and insight for all who engage with it.

THE TIME IS NOW After a lengthy hiatus, Trans Questioning is coming back! More importantly, I'm finally getting my beard lasered off! Covering the period from before my first laser session to after my second, this episode is an old school piecemeal TQ self-reflecting on why it's taken me long to get this process going, and what it means to my stalling transition. I also get tonsillitis. And through it all, naturally, I'm processing the newfound political reality in the USA as a trans woman, searching as always for a light at the end of the tunnel. Improbable as it may seem, I think I found one. For an explanation as to why this is "episode zero" of Trans Questioning "2," listen to the episode. It's the very first thing I talk about. THIS WEEK: I discuss the various changes I've noticed after two months on feminizing hormones; suddenly Sarah is starting to exist; a series of digressions on topics various and sundry. ALSO: Very few people have sent me emails, so I've decided to give the spammers their due. It's time to discuss the tragedy of the late Dr. George Pascal, whose affairs in Burkina Faso promise to be profoundly lucrative.Do you have questions, stories, or other gender-related gripes you want to share?
