Previously on Kings of the Ring, After the heat Julian Cain got for putting Empire-Mania 2 in Milwaukee to taunt Charlie Gotch, Julian proclaimed EM3 would be from the 100,000 seat LA Olympic Coliseum. After months of struggling to find or create a main event to fill this stadium, Julian made a deal with the devil, bringing in Goliath to challenge Thor Hansen. But just like in AMW he's caused nothing but problems for the EWF and Thor Hansen and is now demanding $1 million to put Thor over at the show. After Julian Cain had another vision for M'Butu Zulu as a babyface, he split him off from manager Jack Trades, but was steered by Trades to make this angle resemble an African trying to escape slave ownership. When the NAACP got onto this and mounted an enormous press campaign against the EWF, Zulu was sent to the NAACP to shut this down, but instead cracked and spilled his true feelings on the gimmick and EWF's role in the gimmick. Welcome to the Kings of the Ring! And the impact from the penultimate episode #50 continues! Previously on Kings of the Ring, Jesse James, brought down the entire Meat Machine to Georgia to train with Prince Abdullah and Brutal Bob Walker, and then split them all up throughout the Alliance, but all with the promise of coming back to work for him eventually. Bitter at Jesse James' broken World title promise, a distracted Vladimir Rykoff inadvertently broke Beau Riggs' ribs in an angle designed to set up their main event house show run, and Beautiful Barry Lovelace felt his World title run changed people's perceptions of him. To Gabriel Angel's surprise, Burt Ironside's insistence that Michael Angel was "cured" of his gayness after his overdose coma, wasn't met with ridicule from Michael. Feeling held back and unsure about Nelly Gotch's leadership, Shark and Buzzsaw decided to leave AMW but were disappointed when Julian Cain's invitation appeared to be false, while Nelly Gotch has not reacted to his father Charlie's death well... at all, and Corporal Punishment has been the most over babyface on the AMW roster since he arrived this year. Previously on Kings of the Ring, The Rock'n'Rollers have emerged as the hottest heartthrob tag team in wrestling, but were screwed out of the WWA World Tag Team titles by "Pretty Boy" Willie Dean and "The Best" Kenny West. Thanks to the support of Miss Kitty and some tribal soul searching, Diamond Donny Gold is on the way to recovery from his paralytic back breaking, however Beautiful Barry Lovelace did not appreciate how close his wife got with the Golden one, with everyone believing their having an affair. Apollo Sampson had a bizarre cage match with his real life tormentor Brick Sawyer and ended up running away mid-match and walked straight out the door, and Charlie Gotch finally conceded to son Nelly, to let him steer AMW, as long as priority is placed on eliminating Julian Cain and the EWF. Jesse James has major heat on him from the Alliance and the fans for the perception that he caused famous comedian Jimmy Buck to commit suicide following his slap on national TV before 25 million viewers. After getting so much heat from Nigel, Arnold, and everyone else for putting Empire-Mania 2 in Milwaukee, Julian Cain boasted that Empire-Mania III would come from a stadium. And after a year of watching all Alliance territories catch fire using the bouncers turned wrestlers from a tiny saloon in the upper Midwest, Julian paid his own visit and may have found the best of the bunch, who was ditched by the others and is looking to make his own mark in the wrestling business. Diamond Donny Gold went on a spirit journey at Waylon Thorpe's reservation in Oklahoma and defeated his own mental blocks to walk again, and Mbutu Zulu was put into the main event against Thor Hansen, breakout star of Rambo 2. Krusher Krawcyk thought he'd be able to buy his house back, but a double cash offer and took it away. And the Apocalypse match with the Roughousers turned into a shoot when Shark & Buzzsaw told Brick and Tiger to leave their friend Apollo Sampson alone. The Southern Rebels finally finished up in SCW, doing the honors for the Rock'n'Rollers at Wrestle America. Wrestle America, SCW's biggest show in history headlined by Hollywood comedian, Jimmy Buck vs. Jesse James, and Diamond Donny Gold defending the WWA world title against rookie Beau Riggs. Krusher Krawcyk smacked ABC reporter Michael Sluck last year, and Sluck declared war on Krusher and the wrestling business. After being exposed as a fraud, Raphael Angel fled All-South for  Heartland Pro-wrestling hoping for a second chance at becoming a star in America. Jimmy Buck proposed to Jesse James the idea of becoming a wrestler for SCW to get both of them publicity, by wrestling women. Jesse James asked the Southern Rebels to postpone their return to All-South Wrestling to help the Carolina Wrestling Association in his quest to build a Territory that can compete with Julian Cain’s Empire. While no one has taken any real action since despite attendance possibly being hurt by the controversy, Julian is considering just going with it, and owning it. Jimmy Buck’s wrestling debut on WVBS taking on a woman, was a big hit that got him instant heat with the fans. Thor Hansen filmed his first movie, a major co-starring role beside Sylvester Stallone in Rambo! After Corporal Punishment revealed he got himself a dream deal with Hasbro Toys, Julian Cain fired him, and Hercules Harris wasn’t pleased to hear Julian’s idea to abandon his career-long Hercules gimmick to be a generic racist stereotype of an African. After Prince Abdullah refused to shoot on Thor Hansen, despite Charlie Gotch promising citizenship for his family trapped in Iran, through his government connections, Abby was disgraced and blackballed from the Alliance by Gotch, and fired by Julian Cain. The Prince stumbled on seven musclebound bouncers from a bar in Oshkosh, and had the idea to train them to be wrestlers, as his ticket back into the business. "Hollywood" Buddy Melrose is on the mend, while juggling such visitors as Thor Hansen and the Gotch family, and Criss Stanley struggles to learn how to wrestle, while being the punching bag for the Meat Machine. Corporal Punishment gets the offer of a lifetime from the Hasbro toy company, while Bobby Lee Rivers and Davey Boy Givens continue to develop as a team and as friends as an interesting new act for Southeast Championship Wrestling, which also saw Jimmy Buck make his WVBS debut promising to wrestle his very first match, against a mystery opponent. And finally Charlie Gotch called old friend and World Japan Wrestling owner Mikasa to tell him Goliath was stripped of the AMW title and he needed to return the belt.  Goliath gathered with his harem of Japanese beauties and prepared to do just that.
