We're back with another AFTN Soccer Show packed full of Vancouver Whitecaps, Major League Soccer, Canadian Premier League, Northern Super League, and national team chat and interviews. What a week it's been in Whitecapsland. Eventful doesn't even do it justice, as the team returned from a heavy cup final loss only to be hit by gastrointestinal illness that left Sunday's derby game with Seattle Sounders in doubt. In the end it was played and despite everything the 'Caps came away with a stunning 3-0 win over their Cascadian rivals. We look back at the match, the build up, and the fallout. Turning our attention to the national teams, we look back at Canada's win over Ukraine in the Canadian Shield as they prepare for the Gold Cup, the Canadian women's U20s qualifying for the World Cup, and our feature interview is with the Vancouverite and Vancouver Rise player who scored her first goal for the senior team this week, Holly Ward. We chat with Holly about her fantastic year to date for both club and country and what's to come. All of this plus we look around the lie of the land in the CPL and the recent resignation of Commissioner Mark Noonan, and music-wise, a solo Pete Shelley continues his residency as our Album of the Month, we've a Britpop song from Powder, and an old Scottish World Cup song in Wavelength. Here's the rundown for the main segments from the episode: 01.35: Intro 05.10: Whitecaps rout Sounders after week from hell 58.42: The lie of the land in the MLS West 70.00: Canada beat Ukraine and international Whitecaps round-up 93.50: Holly Ward interview 114.28: Anyone Fancy A Chocolate Digestive? - Holly Ward 121.45: CPL round-up after Week 10 138.33: The road ahead for the CPL after Mark Noonan's departure 149.50: Wavelength - Peter Nardini - We Jist Might Win

This document is a motion to suppress evidence filed by Bryan Kohberger's defense team regarding a search warrant executed on his AT&T mobile account. The defense argues that the warrant, obtained by law enforcement in December 2023, was unconstitutional and overbroad, violating Kohberger's rights under both the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution and Article I, Section 17 of the Idaho Constitution. The warrant authorized law enforcement to obtain extensive data from Kohberger's AT&T account, including subscriber information, call and text records, cell site location data, GPS estimates, cloud storage content, and other highly invasive digital records — far beyond what was stated in the attached exhibit, which only referenced “historical” and “prospective” phone records for a two-day window. The defense claims the supporting affidavit submitted by Cpl. Brett Payne either recklessly or intentionally omitted material facts, failed to establish probable cause, and lacked proper particularization, which made the warrant facially deficient. They further argue that all information used to justify the warrant was derived from the allegedly unconstitutional use of Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG), contaminating the warrant and rendering all derived data inadmissible under the "fruit of the poisonous tree" doctrine. Because of these issues, the motion asks the court to suppress all evidence obtained through this AT&T warrant, asserting that the warrant process failed both in legal standard and in execution, compromising Kohberger's constitutional protections.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:111424-Motion-Supress-Memorandum-Support-ATT-First-Warrant.pdfBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/the-moscow-murders-and-more--5852883/support.

This week begins with a discussion about Kevin's gun sales business, including his experience as a firearms dealer and recent changes in ATF policies regarding background checks and CPL acceptance in Michigan. The conversation then shifted to the Hearing Protection Act and its implications for suppressor regulations, including the history of the NFA(EDIT***- NFA was enacted in 1934**) and potential market impacts of removing suppressors from the controlled list. The discussion concluded with various hunting-related topics, covering decoy effectiveness, drone usage for hunting, fishing techniques and experiences, ammunition testing, and upcoming hunting seasons, including plans for the next NRC meeting. We're back with another AFTN Soccer Show packed full of Vancouver Whitecaps, CONCACAF Champions Cup, Major League Soccer, Canadian Premier League, and national team chat and interviews. Vancouver Whitecaps' trip to Mexico City was not a happy one. A heavy 5-0 loss to Cruz Azul in the Champions Cup final saw the 'Caps outclassed and look a shadow of the team that got them to that point. A tough one to take, but it shouldn't fully be allowed to cloud what was a fantastic and galvanising cup run and the season so far. The worry is that there could be some lasting psychological damage in the coming weeks and we hear from head coach Jesper Sorensen about lifting the team up after this and getting back to winning ways. We also look at Michael's experience in CDMX both at the match and in the city, plus the breaking news that the 'Caps didn't come home with a trophy, but they did come home with gastrointestinal illness. We look at what went down, what it means for the game against Seattle at the weekend, and hear from Whitecaps CEO Axel Schuster. We've also got four interviews to bring you this episode as we turn our attention to the international game. With Canada preparing for the Gold Cup later this month, we chat with the man who is, for us, the current number one goalkeeper for the national team, Minnesota United's Dayne St Clair and talk with head coach Jesse Marsch about the development pathway in Canada and the role of League1. Nine Whitecaps are off to represent their country this international window. We talk with one of them, Giuseppe Bovalina, who is off to play for Australia's U23 side, about his move to Vancouver, life in MLS, what he misses about back home, and playing with the Olyroos. Plus we chat with another antipodean, former Whitecap Michael Boxall, about New Zealand's qualification for the World Cup and his international career. All of this plus music-wise, a solo Pete Shelley begins his residency as our Album of the Month, we've a Britpop song from The Bluetones, and Armchair Loyal are back in Wavelength. Here's the rundown for the main segments from the episode: 01.36: Intro - a cursed episode, the end of the lucky hat, and Club World Cup ticket prices slashed 09.28: VFC derby chaos as CPL refs take centre stage again 25.12: Heartbreak and humiliation for Whitecaps in Champions Cup final loss to Cruz Azul 59.25: Michael's trip to Mexico City - the highlights and lowlights 87.25: Will heavy final defeat affect Whitecaps' psyche? 96.33: Whitecaps hit by gastrointestinal illness following return from Mexico 121.40: Dayne St Clair interview 139.27: Michael Boxall interview 153.30: Giuseppe Bovalina interview 164.30: Jesse Marsch talks Canada's development pathway and the role of League1 172.20: Wavelength - Armchair Loyal - Chairman of the Bored

Join Dan and Tom as they decode the 1943 movie, FIVE GRAVES TO CAIRO. Is this World War II movie a spy movie? Listen as Dan tries to convince Tom it is, despite Tom's uncertainty. The story with this menacing title follows the exploits of Cpl. John Bramble in June 1942 after he fell out of his tank in the North African desert. Later on, he ends up meeting Rommel, The Desert Fox, himself. Most of the movie takes place inside the hotel “Empress of Britain”. It is a great setting. Also, something is interesting there underneath the first floor. The people behind this movie are top-notch. Billy Wilder directed and co-wrote it with Charles Brackett, adopting Lajos Biró's play “Hotel Imperial”. It garnered three Academy Award nominations and has an excellent cast. Specifically, Anne Baxter, Franchot Tone, Akim Tamiroff, and Erich von Stroheim play the leads. This is a movie where you don't want to be scanning your phone at the same time as you watch it. You need to pay close attention. However, by listening to this episode, you will enhance your viewing experience. We give you some things to look out for. What we will decode in this episode While we don't give away the key answers for this movie, these are the things we decode in our look at FIVE GRAVES TO CAIRO: · Details on this great cast. · How it had a real-world impact on the war. · The humor in this serious movie. For example, we include a clip from the movie about bedbugs. · Without a doubt, there is a tie-in to Boris Karloff. What is it? · The production, cinematography, costuming, and the score. · What Tom thought Bramble needed to have with him on the tank. · The use of the German language. Authentic? · Opera in a World War II movie? · The dialogue - good, or bad? · Certainly, Rommel would not have said what he said at that lunch. Would he? · Answering Tom's question of if this is a spy movie · And more! What we don't answer is what the “five graves to Cairo” are. You need to watch the movie for that. Where to download the movie As of the time of the release of this episode (June 2025), you can stream this movie for free at: https://archive.org/details/five-graves-to-cairo-1943-billy-wilder. As a result of listening to this episode, did you watch it? To sum up, if you have seen this movie, what do you think? Were we on point with our review? We're back with another AFTN Soccer Show packed full of Vancouver Whitecaps, Major League Soccer, Canadian Championship, Canadian Premier League, and general football chat. The Whitecaps put in their worst performance of the season, but still came away with a battling point in a scoreless draw down in Austin. We delve into the main talking points coming away from a match that was an off day for many and unfortunately all in the same game. Brendan and Alex hold it down this week on NFP, and they've got plenty to talk about. First, they dive into a busy window for the CanWNT, who took on Argentina in a pair of friendlies in British Columbia over the past week. There, Casey Stoney learned a lot about her team - both good and bad - as she continues to navigate her first few months in charge of this team. Meanwhile, in Mexico, the Vancouver Whitecaps kept their Concacaf Champions Cup journey alive in remarkable fashion, advancing past Pumas on away goals after a late winner. Now, they've set up the ultimate semi-final matchup against Inter Miami, whose star-studded roster, led by Lionel Messi, stands between the Whitecaps and a first-ever CCC final. Lastly, Brendan and Alex round off the show with some Canadians Abroad chatter, as well as some talk about the opening weekend of the CPL, and the kick-off of the inaugural NSL season next week, as a busy period for Canadian soccer continues across the country. Because of these issues, the motion asks the court to suppress all evidence obtained through this AT&T warrant, asserting that the warrant process failed both in legal standard and in execution, compromising Kohberger's constitutional protections.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.comsource:111424-Motion-Supress-Memorandum-Support-ATT-First-Warrant.pdf
