Neben iOS 13 (sowie dem Spin-off watchOS) und macOS Catalina hat Apple sich im Rahmen der WWDC natürlich auch um seine jüngeren Betriebssysteme gekümmert. Während tvOS 13 kaum Änderungen vorweisen kann, gibt es doch einige Neuigkeiten bei watchOS 6.  Apple hat sich in Sachen Features offenbar vom Apple TV verabschiedet, die kleine schwarze Box ist vor allem der Hub für die neuen Services. Dementsprechend gab es zwar ein Video – es war aber ein Trailer für eine neue Serie. tvOS13 – von Multiuser und PS4-Fans Dennoch gibt es ein paar neue Funktionen. So lernen nun alle Services auf dem Apple TV Multiuser-Support, um dem Nutzer auch wirklich Vorschläge nach seinem Geschmack zu machen. Ebenso werden jetzt neben MFi-Controllern der PS4 Controller und der Xbox One Controller mit Bluetooth unterstützt. Eine Änderung, die vor allem für Apple Arcade Sinn ergibt. watchOS 6 – mehr Eigenständigkeit und Watchfaces Die Apple Watch wird eigenständiger. Apps können jetzt auch ohne iPhone-Companion ausgeliefert werden, so wird außerdem ein App Store auf der Uhr möglich. Dazu kommen neue Apps – für Sprachnotizen, Hörbücher und auch einen Taschenrechner. Ebenso neu ist die Möglichkeit, Lautstärke auf der Uhr zu erfassen und die Aufzeichnung von Zyklusdaten bei Frauen. Zusätzlich gibt es auch einige neue Watchfaces – aber keine Öffnung für Drittentwickler. Verfügbarkeit Wie bei allen anderen Systemen ist die Beta für Entwickler direkt am Montag gestartet, das Release soll im Herbst stattfinden.
