The hospital, Doctors office, Medical facility vs the Insurance companies. For one you been told you need to either have a test , treatment , surgeries in my case all thee above.As a Breast Cancer patient I can tell you it is stressful to add these issues to your already full plate.The delays , many times caused by human error or corporate greediness pushing Cancer facilities and other Medical institutions to work towards more production with less staff .All which make way for Human error , delays and at times harmful to the patients well being.Why should we whom are sick do there job , unfortunately we have to jump in and be our own advocate.So my suggestions are :1- If you can not then assign someone who can be you advocate and if you have no one then call your insurance , you will be surprised how many insurances have someone who can help.2- Learn as much about your medical benefits and medical condition.As to be able to ask the Doctor at you visits or ask nurse anything you might need to understand better in order to make better decisions.3 = Get a note book so :Every time you go to the doctor or every time you call your insurance or doctors pre cert dept you will know what to ask.2- Also when you are inquiring about you pre authorizations you will be able to jot down who you or they the ( ins. rep or medical facility spoke to , on what day and what the status is.Don't be afraid to ask questions .God bless you :Arlene

On January 2025 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Since then Everyday is a roller-coaster of emotions, Fear being One that I have to confront and make a decision to allow my Faith to take its place, because fear will only contaminate my faith.And while fear will try to rear its head always it is up to us to face it , and understand that we can push through will afraid, when we know that with God all things are possible.Courage is not the absence of Fear it going forward towards our victory anyway. Today I decided to share this beginning stages of my Breast Cancer Journeys. not for pity or negative reason .. I do this to hopefully help inform and encourage others . We encountered many hardships and reached many bottoms in our lives until we found out Faith in Him our Lord.
