Learn the importance of speaking life over your health and well-being.Today we come before you, Heavenly Father, in faith, in agreement, and in expectation. Your word says that life and death are in the power of the tongue, so today we choose to speak life. In this post, we will explore the transformative power of prayer and positive declarations, especially in the context of health and healing. ## Understanding the Power of DeclarationsSpeaking life into our situations is not just a spiritual exercise; it is a profound declaration of faith. - **Why This Matters:** The words we speak have the power to influence our reality. By declaring positivity and healing, we align ourselves with divine promises.- **The Impact of Faith-Based Declarations:** When we speak life into our bodies, we are not only voicing hope but also reinforcing our faith in God's promises.### How to Speak Life into Your Situation1. **Pray with Intent:** Start your prayer by acknowledging God's sovereignty and power. - **Why This Matters:** Setting the intention frames your prayer and aligns your heart with God's will. - **How to Do It:** Use specific scriptures in your prayers to guide your declarations. - **Example:** "Your word says in Jeremiah 30:17, 'For I will restore health unto thee.'" -** Be specific when you pray , it strengthens your faith. 2. **Declare Healing Over Your Body:** Use affirmations that are grounded in scripture. - **Why This Matters:** Affirmations help to reinforce your belief in God's healing powers. - **How to Do It:** Regularly declare verses like Isaiah 53:5, "By his stripes we are healed." - **Example:** "I speak strength into my immune system and declare restoration for every organ." - **Common Mistake:** Neglecting to personalize your declarations can diminish their impact.3. **Replace Negative Thoughts:** Actively counter doubt and fear with positive declarations. - **Why This Matters:** Negative thoughts can be barriers to receiving healing. - **How to Do It:** When you feel anxiety creeping in, declare peace over your mind. - **Example:** "I replace anxiety with peace, trusting in God's plan." - **Common Mistake:** Allowing negativity to fester can undermine your declarations.## The Role of Faith in HealingFaith is a critical component when it comes to healing and restoration. - **The Conventional Thinking:** Many believe that healing is purely physical.- **What Our Faith Reveals:** Healing encompasses the mind, body, and spirit. When we declare our faith, we invite God's presence into our lives, facilitating holistic healing.- **Why This Matters:** A strong faith can lead to miraculous healing, as seen in various biblical accounts.- **How to Apply It:** Engage in regular prayer and community support to strengthen your faith.## Key Takeaways- Speak life over yourself and others; your words carry power.- Use scripture to guide your declarations and prayers.- Replace negativity with faith-based affirmations. In conclusion, speaking life through prayer and declarations is a powerful way to align ourselves with God's will for healing and restoration. Join us as David preaches on Pentecost and the importance of Waiting on God, The Will of God and The Way of God! Teachings from Luke 24:45-49, Psalm 46:10. Acts 2:1-4, 2 Peter 3:9, Romans 8:14-17 and Galatians 5:22-25.
In this episode, I share how we can wait on God. Be encouraged, especially if you find yourself in a waiting season. Connect With Me: valtopalu.com
When you've been wronged, misunderstood, or unfairly treated, the natural response is to defend yourself, get even, or force the outcome. But James 5:7-12 gives us a better way. God calls us to wait without revenge, strengthen our hearts, refuse grumbling, and speak with integrity because the Lord is near and He is still working. In this message, Pastor Ian Buckley shows how Christians can do right when they've been done wrong - not by pretending pain doesn't matter, but by trusting the God who sees, sustains, and will make all things right.
This chapter teaches us a powerful spiritual lesson: Sometimes God allows us to experience silence after obedience, teaching us the difference between asking people for help and fully trusting God's timing. Joseph did nothing wrong, yet deliverance did not come immediately. Instead, God was shaping Joseph's character, deepening his patience, and preparing him for a higher calling. In the place of confinement, God was still at work. -Do you want to be an active member of 21c Moses? Then, consider becoming a 21c Moses Patreon! This is message 33 in Gospel Record of John John 11:1-44 Jesus reveals that He alone has power over death, not only to promise life but to give it, calling people out of hopelessness into living reality. What appears final to human eyes is not beyond His authority, and even in seasons of delay, sorrow, and confusion, His purpose is unfolding for the glory of God and the strengthening of faith. He enters into human grief with compassion, yet stands above it with divine power, proving that life is found in Him and that those who trust Him will not remain in death but will be brought into lasting life. This is message 4 in Understanding the Love of God Lamentations 3:22-36 Even in the darkest seasons of loss, suffering, and disappointment, hope is not found in circumstances but in the unchanging character of God. His mercy holds back the judgment we deserve, His compassion never fails, and His faithfulness never wavers. When everything else seems stripped away, the Lord Himself remains enough. Those who remember who God is, wait on Him, and trust His purpose discover that He has not abandoned them. His work is still unfolding, and even in affliction He is shaping His people for His glory and their good. On this episode of Truth Talk Live, the conversation centers on the difficult but deeply transformative season of waiting. Hosts Robby Dillmore and Dr. "Date the Word" Carson explore what Scripture teaches about waiting on the Lord, why waiting is not passive, and how God often works beneath the surface while we feel stuck or delayed.
David once again finds himself in a situation where he needs help. He looks to God only for help. "Surely" and "only" are seen six times in this Psalm. It reminds us that men always fail, but God is a solid rock. This message should be proclaimed for all to know that God is worthy of waiting upon.
God’s timing is always perfect—trust Him even when it’s hard to wait.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Every time we are asked by God to wait, it comes with a choice. Will we be impatient, frustrated, or irritable, or will we learn to wait with calm assurance that God is in control and the waiting is for my good?Main Points:1. The Bible repeatedly calls for us to wait on the Lord, and to do so patiently. But you might ask, “Why? Why wait? Why would God make us wait? Is there a benefit to waiting? Is there a promised blessing for waiting on God?2. Waiting teaches us that God is in control. He is not bound to our time restraints. When we wait on God we are submitting to His leadership and His lordship. Waiting reminds us that He is God, and we are not.3. Waiting enables us to develop the Christ-like characteristics of patience and perseverance. God often calls for us to slow down so we can listen and learn. Today's Scripture Verses:Lamentations 3:25 - “The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.”Psalm 27:14 - “Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!”Isaiah 40:31 - “those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”Quick Links:Donate to support this podcastLeave a review on Apple PodcastsGet a copy of The 5 Minute Discipleship JournalConnect on SocialJoin The 5 Minute Discipleship Facebook Group

You must come to know God personally. Recalling the truth about God carries us through the trials of life. Jeremiah discovered this as he experienced God's judgment on Jerusalem. When everything else was gone, he remembered that God was eternal, holy, and almighty. We cannot learn what we must learn about God until we understand we are nothing without Him. God is our hope. He is merciful, and we can trust in His faithfulness.

This is message 18 in The Names of God Series The God Who Can Be Trusted Psalm 25:1-22 God can be trusted completely because He is the God of our salvation. His salvation is not just something He gives but who He is. When we wait on Him, we can rest in His wisdom, mercy, and faithfulness. Two things that are very difficult to do in our lives: waiting and listening. Today we will talk about waiting on God. If we will wait long enough and trust Him we will "SEE" what He can mightily do. He will answer if we will wait. WAIT!
We've all experienced the agony of waiting—whether it's counting down 67 days until Christmas or anxiously anticipating a promise that seems delayed indefinitely. But what happens when we're waiting on God's promises and the calendar pages keep turning with no fulfillment in sight? This message takes us deep into Acts 25, where we find the apostle Paul imprisoned for two years despite being completely innocent. God had promised Paul he would testify in Rome, yet here he sits in chains in Caesarea, watching new governors come and go, facing the same baseless accusations from enemies who haven't forgotten their grudge after all this time. The injustice is palpable—even the Roman governor admits there's no case against him, yet Paul remains bound. This ancient story mirrors our modern struggles: we hear God's voice, we believe His promises, but then life throws punches and time ticks away. We're left wondering if we heard correctly, if we're doing the right thing, if the promise will ever come. The profound lesson here isn't just about patience—it's about what we do in the in-between. Do we compromise our integrity to force the promise into existence? Do we sit idle in a spiritual waiting room, doom-scrolling through life? Or do we actively wait on God, remaining faithful to what's before us, trusting Him to fulfill what He's spoken, and making the waiting matter by growing in the classroom of His presence? Paul had opportunities to bribe his way out, to manipulate circumstances, to make things happen on his own timeline. Instead, he chose character over convenience, divine timing over human impatience. The challenge for us is clear: our waiting can either waste us or shape us for the very promises God has destined for our lives.

This is message 22 in The Power of God's Name Philippians 2:5-13 Christ, though fully God, chose humility, taking the form of a servant and submitting to death on the cross to fulfill the Father's will. Because of His obedience, God exalted Him and gave Him the name above every name, before which every knee will bow and every tongue confess His lordship. This truth calls all people to live in surrender to His authority, working out their salvation with reverence, knowing that God is actively shaping both the desire and the ability to accomplish His will. This is message 60 in the Isaiah series. Isaiah 64:1-12 When people stop calling on the name of the Lord, they lose the nearness of God, the power of answered prayer, and the shaping work of His hand. Isaiah cries out for mercy, not from a place of innocence, but from a deep awareness that silence toward God leads to spiritual ruin. Only when people turn back to the Lord in Faith, repentance, and dependence can they be restored, shaped and delivered. You may be feeling frustrated, impatient, discouraged and even angry that you haven't seen God answer your prayers yet. You have been believing God for breakthrough in specific areas of your life, marriage, family, finances or health, and it feels like God is not even there. These times are very difficult, but God is with you and he is preparing us for what's in store, and teaching us how to be more like Jesus. Today's Promise: Psalm 62:1 When you wait on God, you find He is your salvation and provider of all you need. King David wrote this psalm during a particularly difficult time in his life. He was facing constant attacks from his son, who was trying to overthrow his rule as king. Instead of gathering his army and advisors, the first thing he did was go to the Lord. David understood that trusting in men was foolish. It was not about his strength or wisdom but about God's deliverance. David had a quiet confidence that God would see him through any difficulty.
What's the longest time you've ever waited for something? A few hours? Days? Years? It seems like the longer we wait, the more likely we are to get frustrated and impatient. Yet, there are dozens of examples in the Bible where God intentionally keeps His people in seasons of waiting. Why should we wait on God and how does it transform our hearts? Listen in as we learn how to wait on the Lord, even in times of immense pressure.
