Which means to start without having all of the answers. Not many make the bold decision of working in their purpose and passion without a clear perfect picture. Starting Stuck doesn't mean to start irresponsibly, neither does it mean to start unprepared. It simply means to not just hold onto your dreams while waiting on the perfect moment, but get up, start with boldness and create your moment. In this episode, we talk about both the beauty and scary of starting stuck. Enjoy today's episode.

Welcome to Episode 67 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. In today's episode we talked about embracing the season that you're in. Welcome to Episode 64 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. This week we talked about something on the podcast we've never talked about before, People Pleasers. We go really in depth in this topic, we discussed what is a people pleaser, people pleaser tendencies, how people pleasers should set boundaries, the difference between being a people pleaser and being generous, what people pleasers should do to guard their heart, mind, mental and physical health. I also shared some personal stories from some of my family members and myself to really help the message come alive. This podcast episode is apart of the collection of episodes I recorded. So, if you haven't listened to Part 1 (Episode 63) yet, I suggest you listen to that one first and then listen to this. Enjoy!
Welcome to Episode 63 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. This week we talked about honoring our commitment to ourselves and what that actually looks like. The idea for this week's episode came about when I was in the gym on the treadmill and I had just took a Instagram story of the 15 minute mark. A few seconds later I started to get fatigued and eventually started to question the commitment I made to myself before getting on the treadmill, and that was that I would workout for 30 minutes. As self doubt (undercover doubt) settled in, I instantly thought “I always honored my commitment to other's, so why not honor my commitment to myself?” The end goal of what honoring my commitment to myself would look like inspired and pushed me to finish the workout. Truth is this message can be applied to all areas of our lives that we made commitments to ourselves to improve, but never did. And Oh! You thought I'd forget to mention that I missed last week's episode, Of Course I wouldn't forget. I'm well aware that I broke the consistent weekly upload streak. So, guess what I did? I recorded a collection of 2 episodes. That's right! This is 1 of 2 I've recorded. When you're done listening to Part 1, go and check out part 2. Enjoy this week's episode(s).
Welcome to Episode 62 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. This week we're talking about our innate God given ability to dream and use our imagination. We discussed how many of us stop dreaming as we get older, we sometimes stray away from who we are and chase after things outside of our identity and also we sometimes retreat to dreaming small when dreaming big becomes overwhelming because of the work we're required to put in to make it a reality. We talked about all of these things and how we can change them. Enjoy todays episode.
Welcome to Episode 61 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. This week we're talking about inspiration from within. We are so use to only being inspired by things outside of ourselves. Mainly because our lives never truly lined up to where we envisioned of being. Hence we look outside of ourselves for inspiration. Which is not a bad thing at all but in today's episode we talk about how to balance being inspired by others and being inspired by our own lives. I also broke down the idea of perspective and seeing our own lives through the right lens instead of seeing it through the lying lens. And lastly, we discussed how to stay grounded and content. Enjoy today's episode and invite a friend to engage with this week's episode as well.
Welcome to Episode 60 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. Yes, I said it, episode 60. In this week's episode we talk about pressure. The pressure to succeed, meet the expectations of others, win, fit into culture and society etc. I also shared stories of how I navigated unwanted pressure. I shared these stories and pointers that I've garnered through self reflection in hopes of helping you to identify pressure, acknowledge it, look it in the face and work through it. For some of you, once you've identified in which area of your life that pressure is being applied, may have to go beyond just listening to this episode. I don't know exactly how that may look for you. It may be prayer, joining a church, finding a positive community or even visiting a therapist to walk you through your journey. Enjoy today's episode and be sure to send it to some of your closest friends.
Welcome to Episode 59 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. In this week's episode we go deep. I talk about the need for media wanting our attention, and how being pulled into narratives and philosophies affects us as a generation. In today's culture and society everyone is just screaming at each other and going crazy over their extreme opinions. With this episode I try my best to encourage the listeners to take long periods of time to construct an opinion if needed, Have conversations with their inner circle about important topics, being confident in your complex opinions, decreasing the amount of time you listen to narrative driven media and many more. My hope is that you would join the conversation with an open mind and leave with a breath of fresh air and perspective. Enjoy todays episode. (Part 2)
Welcome to Episode 58 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. This week I dive into something that has been keeping people stuck for generations. And yes, I am aware of my youth and I may not be allowed to speak about generational bondage. The way my generation has been brought up, the clichés we've been taught and the things we face and suffer from; exposes what past generations have been wrestling with. And that is subscription. Subscribing to the status quo, subscribing to what people said you couldn't do and subscribing to past failures. This episode is not to box people in based on a generation they've been born in, but to break people free of subscribing to things that hinder them from succeeding and accomplishing their goals and dreams. Share this episode with a friend and enjoy.

Welcome to Episode 55 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. This week's episode is inspired by Dr. Dharius Daniels; he preached a message called “This doesn't fit”. Welcome to Episode 52 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. This week I came with a beautiful message. Today's message is beautiful because it's an eye opener and a perspective changer. It's always beautiful when someone obtains a new perspective. And that's exactly what I hope happens when you listen to this episode. I talked about believing in the ability and capacity God has put on the inside of you to do what he has called you to do. I also talked about the beauty of Re. The beautiful thing about restarting, reenvisioning, and reconsidering is the first to letters added to those words. All it means is, you get to do something again. The truth is, you're not a failure, you may have just poorly executed something. It could've been caused by wrong timing, lack of wisdom/knowledge etc. Don't beat yourself up because the beautiful thing is, you get to do it again. Enjoy today's episode.
Welcome to Episode 51 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. This week we had an unexpected turn of events. I had planned to have a guest on today's episode, but during the interview the visuals and audio were going in and out. So we rescheduled the interview, so that I can provide the best quality audio for you all. Never the less, we pivoted and recorded todays episode. In this episode we talk about Miami Heat loosing the eastern conference finals to Boston Celtics. Which in my opinion is a bummer and I'm still sick about it. We also talked about the hassle of creating good habits and letting go bad ones; with the help of my favorite book Atomic Habits by James Clear. Enjoy today's episode.
We made it to Episode 50 of The Be Yo'self Podcast. This week's episode is one of inspiration and courage. We talk about comparison and it being the thief of joy, purpose and vision. Comparison is like the enemy they've come to steal and distract. Zone into today's episode and have a great day.
