  Kentrell Pullian of Benton Harbor High School Basketball is the WSJM Sports Berrien County Student Athlete of the Week for the week of February 7, 2021. Kentrell led the Tigers to a season opening win over Fennville with 20 points, six assists, seven rebounds, and three steals. Then in a win over Muskegon, he turned in 25 points, three assists, five rebounds, and three steals. Against Detroit Douglas, he wrapped up the week with 16 points, two assists, four rebounds, and one steal. Kentrell is also a member of the Benton Harbor Football team and is involved with the Boys and Girls Club and Jobs for Michigan Grads. In the classroom, he carries a 3.8 grade point average. In June of 2018, we sat down with Museum Educators Raven Cook and Kentrell Curry to discuss the American Spirit and the upcoming “Independence Day.” We were unable to turn the episode around in time for the holiday, but we’re excited to share it with you today as we round out Black History Month.At Crystal Bridges, it is our mission to welcome all to celebrate the American Spirit. So what exactly is the American Spirit? We strive to develop a museum culture known for providing positive, enriching experiences for our guests and staff, and we want to continue thinking forward.
