Podcast Dedicated to The Other Side Miniatures game by Wyrd Miniatures.

I have the absolute pleasure of talking with JVM, Brad Iron Lip Park, and Blake the Snake Hooper 3 members of Team USA silver Medal team at the WTC here in 2025. We go over some questions that I had and a lot more questions that the listeners had. Was a great conversation about their experiences at WTC 2025.

Friend of the show Brad the Iron Lip had an interesting Idea. He wanted to know if their was any correlation between performance and overall team ratings. Along with wanting to know about the 5-0 rounds. So I started looking at the data built out a sheet. And this show is the result of this analysis. Its again meant to be a though experiment to answer some questions that we've been talking behind the scenes about and wanted to bring to the wider WTC listener base. So I warn you this one is nerdy and you can't draw a lot of conclusions from it, but its fun as hell. Be sure to check out the full spreadsheet song here Spreadsheet song link full credit to Sam S on the you tube for this amazing ballad to columns and rows.

Additionally I then talk about power level of models and lists not always being evident from the cards and model selection but some power levels being obscured by needing to see it on the table. As power level of rules can often be over looked or undervalued on paper but come up frequently in actual play patterns that make the rule better. Like wise some rules that are amazing on paper may in practice be less frequently exploitable. We walk through some recent examples in Shadow Flame shard and my own journey of finding greater power level of some of these models in actual play than I was valuing their evaluation on paper.
