Widely regarded as one of the best players in the world, he is known for his pace, dribbling, and clinical finishing. Born in Paris and raised in nearby Bondy, Mbappé began his senior club career in 2015 with Monaco. With Monaco, he won the Ligue 1 title for the 2016–17 season. In 2017, at age 18, Mbappé signed for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on an eventual permanent transfer worth €180 million, making him the second-most-expensive player and most expensive teenage player of all time. With PSG, he won six Ligue 1 titles, four Coupes de France, including a domestic quadruple in the 2019–20 season and became the club's all-time top goalscorer. He is a record 5 time Ligue 1 Player of the Year and a record 6 time Ligue 1 top goalscorer. In 2024, after several years of speculation, Mbappé joined Real Madrid on a free transfer. The Penn State wrestling show from Blue-White Illustrated returns to get you ready for the U.S. World Team Trials tournament this weekend while also catching you up on the latest news about the Nittany Lions offseason.Three Nittany Lion Wrestling Club members, Luke Lilledahl (57 kilograms), Mitchell Mesenbrink (74kg), and Kyle Snyder (97kg) have already qualified for Final X, which is the best-of-three matches event in June that sets the U.S. World team for this cycle. Snyder is still expected to compete at the event after he was arrested in a prostitution sting in Columbus. Lilledahl and Mesenbrink will definitely be there. The former knows he will face former Iowa star Spencer Lee in the 57kg finals. Mesenbrink and Snyder will learn their foes this weekend when the Team Trials challenge ends.

Nina Cutro-Kelly joined the Move United staff in 2023 as a Competition Manager, directly supporting Move United sanctioned competitions and Nationals. She represented Team USA at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. The nine-time World Team member continued her competitive success in 2022 when she reached the podium at the Pan American Championships, winning her fifth career medal at the event. Cutro-Kelly, who has 50% hearing loss in both ears, also made history in 2022 as the first U.S. judo athlete ever to win gold at the Deaflympics.
