The team event consisted of competitions in men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dance. Skaters and teams earned points based on their placements in each event, and the medalists were determined based on the total points earned. The team representing the Russian Olympic Committee originally finished in first place, while the team from the United States finished second, and the Japanese team finished third. However, when it was revealed that a positive test confirming the presence of a banned substance was received from a sample submitted by Kamila Valieva of Russia, the medal ceremony was postponed. After nearly two years of litigation, Valieva's scores were stricken and the newly tabulated results placed the American team first, the Japanese team second, and the Russian team third. Ein Arbeitnehmer hatte einer Praktikantin auf das Gesäß geschlagen, was als sexuelle Belästigung bewertet wurde. Dennoch erklärte das Gericht die Kündigung für unwirksam, da eine Abmahnung als milderes Mittel erforderlich gewesen wäre. The country's largest music festival, Electric Avenue, has been bought by Live Nation. The multinational entertainment company announced the acquisition of festival producer Team Event, which owns the two-day summer festival held in Christchurch's Hagley Park each February. Promoters Association President Layton Lillas told Mike Hosking that given the tough environment festivals are facing, this is good thing for New Zealand. Alexa Brabec grew up in Steamboat Springs, CO where she trained with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. In 2020, she qualified for the US National Team for the first time. After graduating high school, Alexa moved to Lillehammer, Norway to train with the Norwegian Team as a part of a partnership between the US and Norwegian Teams. A team tournament that yours truly called prior to the event in terms of all the teams I told you to watch out for were your top 6. Dominic Ionnotti is a current world No. 3 tennis player. His career has taken him from his home in Prestwick, Scotland to Australia, Ecuador and around Europe representing the Great Britain Learning Disability National Squad. Dominic was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at 4 years old and has been playing elite level tennis since he was 14. Now 25, Dom has recently been both training and coaching at SotoTennis Academy in Spain. In June he competed at the 2023 Virtus Global Games in France, winning the Bronze medal in Men's Singles, and three Gold medals in the Team Event, Men's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles for GB.
