Quitter Rant's James Isom produced this pod and was kind enough to let me share it here. Give James and our friend Jon Finch a like/follow/subscribe on Youtube and twitter @QuitterRant. I was lucky enough to join the guys from @QuitterRant for another light hearted discussion about Star Wars in anticipation of Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker, but don't hold us to that because I'm sure the range of subjects covered may vary. If you like what you hear give us a Like/follow/sub on Youtube, Instagram, Facebook, and twitter @dtbpod and @QuitterRant.
My good friend Jonathan Finch and I have probably had this conversation 10,000 times, but with all the hype surrounding the excellent Mandalorian and in anticipation of Episode 9: The Rise Of Skywalker we take a deep dive into the Star Wars universe, why we think it still resonates all these years later, our favorite movies from the franchise, and what we think works and doesn't work from each installment. May the force be with us. (Mandalorian coming soon!)
So much to cover, so many great Marvel characters and moments, and how the filmmakers used 10 years and 18 movies of build up to deliver one of the most ambitious films of all time, with one of the most shocking endings of all time. Get ready for Avengers: Endgame with our Avengers: Infinity War discussion #dtbpod.
I (Stark) FINALLY finished the office, and we talk about how much we love the show, the characters, and compile the worst, most unorganized list of our favorite Office characters you've ever seen.
Adam, Kurckland, and Isaac give their thoughts on the DCEU films Man of Steel, Batman vs. Superman, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. What works and what doesn't work, and unfortunately for the DC films... how they compare to Marvel's MCU.
