The Texas Longhorns' softball may have battled back from the loser's bracket to reach the final's series, but they didn't need an extra game to top Texas Tech to hoist the National Championship trophy. He is the first Longhorn in Texas history to do so. There were a ton of upsets, including the #1 team in the country, UCLA, and the #4 team in the country, Auburn.
