The former first lady elloquently explains that being angry about your body changing as you age is the equivalent to a teenager being angry they no longer fit into toddlers clothes. Secondly, I referenced the quote ”The amount in which we love ourselves directly impacts our ability to show up and love others.“ - which is a quote from Brene Brown's book The Gifts of Imperfection. #bingeeatingdisorderrecovery #icandothispodcast #canadian #overcomer

Start a second Pot of water for the pasta. Toss in 3-6 sliced Bavarian Sausages (or your sausage of choice). Once the sausage is cooked and has a good crisp to it add in fresh crushed garlic. Add two cans of crushed organic tomatoes. (Liz's favourite brand is Alymer's tomatoes) Drop the heat down to a medium low. Sprinkle in 2 tbsp of sugar (1 tbsp of sugar per can of tomatoes helps nutrilize the acidity) Add in 1 1/2 cups of whipping cream. Toss in Italian seasonings such as Basil or Oregano and a pinch of salt. Lastly add Cayenne Pepper to taste. (If you have not used Cayenne Pepper before it is recommended to start out with a 1/4 teaspoon of Cayenne Pepper. Cayenne Pepper is most potent when fresh, and can be quite spicy.) Once the sauce is bubbling gently, serve over al dente pasta. Highlight Reel: How to be a better friend? Have Grace. Encourage Growth. Try your best to show up and to reciprocate. Rain Check's are greater than Cancelled Plans. We can be different, and that is okay. Speak your truths. Want to connect with Margret?
