Hey Searcher! Welcome to the Iamstuffed_podcast! I founded Iamstuffed over 3 years ago during my time in college. With the goal to help as many people as possible as a dietitian. I have helped with building muscle, weightgain/lose, cholestrol-,diabetic- and hormone problems and so much more! But my ❤️ is really with people who struggle with their relationship with food, body and their thoughts. I know how hard it can be. With this podcast I am trying to support you with recovering from your habits & thoughts. Go to iamstuffed.nl for consultations and blogs. You can DM to @iamstuffed_com.
In this interview, I am interviewing Abel on his thoughts regarding the victim role and the mentality a person with a eating disorder can take on during the time that they have an eating disorder and feel like a victim. Abel himself is recovering from an eating disorder. And is just out of his eating disorder. He's also into a strength training. He is an experience expert. And shares his view on what it was to be a victim and how it is to be recovered now.
I think this episode is a nice reflection of what is wrong with society when it comes down to the range of emotions that females get in society. And it is definitely correlated to your eating disorder. Because if your voice doesn't get a voice. Then it's going to find its voice in food.
You think you're smart by over exercising and trying to delay your weight gain. But believe me, your body is smarter. This actually happened to me and a lot of clients when we started our recovery. Less is more and that's the case when it comes down to exercising. Listen to this episode if you want to know how to heal your disruptive hormone balance during an eating disorder. If you are a person, of course that has the tendency to move a lot.In this episode, i'm not giving any advice around food and a hormone balance. Just around movement.
I think one of the more harder episodes for me to record because at the end of the day; I always experience this month as an outsider, but I do help a lot of people pre-Ramadan and during when it comes down to their diabetes or eating disorders. What is a good thing to do? Are you going to join? Are you going to skip this year for your mental health? Does your environment acknowledge that an eating disorder is an health issue? And what outcome can It have if you do fast and have an eating disorder?
People with an eating disorder have a tendency to over eat on protein, but why do they do that ? And what can you do to get out of it ? And how do you deal with the sweetners ?

I think smart-goals don't work with people that have an Eating disorder + certain nervous system. I wonder if you think the same ?At the end of the day, everybody's different and everybody have different needs . However, I wanted to share my perspective on this. I don't want you to see this as the only truth. But one of the options that could possibly help one of the people that are listening to this. Always seek out help by a professional psychologist or psychiatrist. I am a dietitian that is an Experian expert on eating disorders. And have over five years experience of helping out people with eating disorders, but that doesn't mean that I know everything.
Your survival guide for AFTER the holidays

Or maybe you are susceptible for some good ads. All of these problems are talked about in this podcast, adding tips to this that are instantly to use in your day-to-day life. In this episode @Lifeoflin is helping you with meeting a new version of you. This during your hardship and after. I coincidentally saw Lin's Tiktok profile and was instantly drawn to her content. Easy explained reflection techniques in Dutch. What is perfect for people with an eating disorder that need to understand themselvesmore. however, even if you do not have an eating disorder, her content is very valuable. With her short videos almost every day on TikTok you have a moment to self reflect and heal wounds in you that you may have unknowingly. I would definitely recommend her ! Go check her profile (@Lifeoflin on TikTok)
