Ever found yourself caught in the struggle between competition and collaboration? In this episode, we unravel the age-old tension between competing against and collaborating with one another. Drawing inspiration from ancient societies, we examine the powerful roles women played, and how these historical insights can guide us toward a more cooperative and supportive dynamic in today's fast-paced world.A mento once said to me, "There's plenty of room at the top, it's the bottom that's crowded" and her wisdom has inspired me to focus on building bridges rather than climbing ladders. In this episode, we explore how adopting a collaborative mindset can transform professional and social landscapes, opening doors to richer experiences and greater opportunities. Join the conversation as we champion mutual support and shared goals, aiming to foster a culture where women's success is not just an individual triumph but a collective victory.Let's connect! Ever felt the weight of striving for perfection only to be met with the echoing silence of procrastination? I definitely have, and in this intimate chat, I take you through the trials of rebranding our beloved podcast, where the harmony of music and message proved as elusive as ever. It was a dance with the devil of details, leading to an unplanned break from the airwaves. I share how the mantra "done is better than perfection" became my lifeline, a rallying cry to embrace our beautifully flawed efforts and to push through, reconnecting with this precious outlet and, more importantly, with you.As we stand at the threshold of new beginnings, let's talk about the 'lizard brain'—that primal force that governs our fears and often holds us back from leaping into the unknown. It's a beast that I, too, have wrestled with, and in this episode, I lay bare the struggle and the strategies to triumph over it. We'll explore why courage isn't the absence of fear, but the determination to move forward in spite of it. I wrap up with a heartfelt expression of gratitude and a shared toast to the new year, inviting you to find your own unique way to celebrate and to join me on this journey of growth, authenticity, and heartfelt podcasting. Cheers to new adventures and the beauty of imperfection!

In this episode we explore how adding more Yin energy to our very Yang lives, helps us feel more balanced, joyful, and fulfilled.Let's dive in...

How can we become who we want to be, when we're holding on to so much "stuff" from the past? In the wake of a life changing experience I started evaluating what was working in my life - and what wasn't. In the coming weeks we have some juicy episodes about sex coming your way - but before we dive into those conversations, I wanted to lay some groundwork and address the elephant in the room... I know it may sound silly, but after a night of dancing with some of the most beautiful, confident, untamed, and free-flowing females I've ever been in the company of, I realized how much I was playing it safe with my dancing, and how so many of us are playing it safe in life - make small movements, don't ruffle feathers, don't be too much, don't cause a scene, don't attract too much attention, don't be so dramatic, don't be so bold, don't get too cocky; be more adorable, less authentic. In 1963, Betty Friedan called it 'the problem with no name.' The droll existence suffered by the the 'housewife' of that era yielded a discontentment they couldn't put into words. Though the roles and expectations of women have made some progress since then, the problem still exists. It looks a little different, but in today's modern era women still suffer from an emptiness, a lack of fulfillment, a lack of joy - that they simply can't explain. This problem, though it comes dressed in different descriptions than it did 50 years ago, still has no name... until now. Today I explore what I believe is missing in the lives of many women, and how they can feel more alive and fulfilled - without adding one more thing to their to-do list. Let's dive in... Today we dive into how we can see ourselves as an asset for our families and worthy of investing time and money in ourselves - in service of them. The kicker is, when we seriously consider making a commitment to invest in ourselves by going on a retreat, hiring a coach, taking a course, etc., we often hold ourselves back because we're afraid. We're afraid of failure, of disappointing people, or being judged…And the truth is, those things will likely happen.

This week's episode is all divine timing. It's so easy to compete with other people's paths, their pace, everything that's happening for them that doesn't seem to be happening for us. May we be them, may we raise them.In this episode I explore what it means to re-wild ourselves, and why it's important to future generations that we do. The next question being how do we keep our daughters wild? In this episode I touch on the roots of women's shame around body image, sexuality, and menstruation. I was recently asked, "what is Postpartum Coaching?" That question inspired today's episode. The truth is, how a woman processes her birth and moves through the threshold of motherhood during those first 4-6 weeks after having a baby has a SIGNIFICANT impact on her life. What and how she experiences that time will leave a lasting imprint on her body and mind. How do I know? I've been there... My experiences with birth and the postpartum period were all so different, and I learned SO MUCH. All of which I compile into my practice. In this episode I dive into how a woman can prepare herself to emerge from her postpartum period feeling strong, healthy, safe, and ready to take on the world. Whole, healthy, and balanced (mind, body, and spirit) mothers are the world's greatest hope. My hope is that this episode and the work I do will help more women feel this way as they build their foundation for motherhood. Enjoy!
