We're on YouTube - Join us there. In this episode of Top Self, Shanenn explores one of the most confusing and isolating experiences for anyone who struggles with jealousy: watching a secure person stay completely calm in a situation that would send you into a spiral. Starting with a vivid poolside story that will feel painfully relatable, Shanenn breaks down why secure people aren't blind to what's happening around them—they just don't assign the same meaning to it. She explains how your brain builds stories based on its existing “library” of past experiences, fears, and beliefs about yourself, and why that library is the real difference between jealousy and security.Plus, she introduces a powerful new tool—the Meaning Audit—three simple questions you can use to interrupt the spiral and start thinking like the secure person you're becoming.Golden Episode Nuggets:
Have you ever stared at a wardrobe full of clothes and still thought… I have nothing to wear? You're not alone. In Episode 81 of It's a Mindset, I'm joined by Emma Edwards — financial behaviour specialist, founder of The Broke Generation and author of The Wardrobe Project — to unpack the powerful psychology behind our spending habits, self-image and relationship with consumption. Emma undertook a radical experiment: one full year without buying any clothes. No new pieces, no second-hand finds, not even rentals. What followed was a deeply honest journey that challenged the cultural “hamster wheel” of fashion consumption and revealed just how closely our spending can be tied to identity, insecurity and emotional needs. This conversation goes far beyond budgeting. It's about awareness, behaviour and the quiet patterns driving many of our financial decisions. Emma really encouraged me to reflect on my own consumption — especially when it comes to clothing — and what might be sitting underneath those choices. It was such a powerful reminder that money habits are rarely just about money. Emma is the founder of Broke Media and host of The Broke Generation Podcast, reaching tens of thousands of listeners each month. As a Certified Financial Behavior Specialist®, she is known for helping people feel good about money by focusing on the psychology behind our financial choices — not just the numbers. Are your peptides not working… or are your foundations actually shaky?Peptides don't override physiology; they amplify it. And that's the reason why shaky foundations can also hold back your results. In this episode, we're doing a loving but honest audit of why peptides stall in midlife women. I break down the seven (7) most common mistakes I see from poor sourcing and dosing errors to undereating, mineral depletion, gut dysfunction, stress, sleep issues, and training like it's 2004. We also talk about why functional labs matter, why more isn't better, and how to stop stacking protocols randomly and start being strategic with your body. After 40 years in the industry, I know it doesn't have to be that way. In this episode of The Richard Robbins Show, I share the concept of Future Focus, the mindset principle I teach at Richard Robbins International that has helped thousands of real estate professionals transform their results and their lives. Through two personal stories (flying a fighter jet in South Africa and racing a NASCAR), I break down why the most successful people share one trait: they focus on where they want to go, not where they've been. And how those patterns can follow you into career transition—showing up as overthinking, fear of visibility, people-pleasing in interviews, and a brutal inner critic. Then we shift into action: how AI is changing the job search, why networking matters more than ever, and one simple AI prompt to decode job descriptions in plain English so you can apply with clarity (not panic). If you've been telling yourself “I left… why don't I feel better?” — this episode is a must-listen. HOW TO FIND CHASEInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/changing_chaseThe Chasing Health Podcast: DESCRIPTIONIn this episode of the Fit40 Podcast, I sit down with Chase Smith to break down what it really takes to lose a significant amount of weight and keep it off for good. Chase shares his raw journey of losing over 100 pounds, navigating years of failed diets, and finally finding an approach that worked with his life instead of against it. We talk about why extreme dieting fails, how mindset and strength training change everything after 40, and what busy adults can learn from his experience to stop the yo-yo cycle and build results that last. If you're tired of starting over and want a smarter, more sustainable path forward, this conversation will hit home.FIT40 LINKS✅ Feeling low on energy and out of shape but short on time?
Have you ever felt like you're doing all the right things but nothing is really changing? In this episode, we talk about how easy it is to focus on the latest trend — a new workout, a new diet, or a new “fix” — and miss the bigger picture of what actually needs to change. None of these things are bad, but when we use them to avoid the real work, we stay stuck. After you listen, I'd love to hear from you. Send me a message on Facebook or email me and tell me what you thought you needed to do before this episode — and what you realized you actually need to focus on now. Reflection questions: What do I want my life and health to look like one year from now? Does what I'm doing right now actually support that? What got in my way last week? Be specific. Where do I tend to go off the rails — weekends, stress, social events, boredom? Am I looking for a shortcut instead of a habit? What feels uncomfortable that I keep avoiding? If I stopped chasing new plans, what's one boring thing I know would help? Mentioned in this episode:
If you're scared to start peptides because you don't want to be on them forever, listen in.In today's conversation, I'm answering one of the most common and quietly loaded questions women ask me about peptide therapy: Do I have to stay on this forever? We're unpacking where that fear really comes from, why it makes total sense, and how peptides are actually meant to be used in the body. I'll walk you through the difference between support and dependency, what it looks like when peptides are working with your physiology (not replacing it), and why “forever” is usually the wrong framework altogether. We'll also talk about timing, plateaus, and how to know when it's time to continue, pause, or step back. Send us a textAre you a teacher who feels constantly stressed, exhausted, or overwhelmed—but can't quite explain why it feels so heavy? In this episode of Teachers in Transition, Vanessa Jackson uses a familiar question—“On a scale of 1 to 10, how bad is your pain?”—to explore how teachers slowly normalize burnout, emotional overload, and chronic stress without realizing how much it's costing them. Drawing from her own post-surgical experience and decades in education, Vanessa explains why constant strain distorts perception, why “familiar” doesn't mean “fine,” and how teachers often minimize both their pain and their professional value. This episode gives language to what teachers are experiencing to help them think clearly, reclaim energy, and make informed decisions about what comes next. In this episode, we discuss:Why chronic stress and burnout are hard to quantify—especially for teachersHow constant emotional and cognitive load shifts your internal “pain scale”The Energy Tax Check: a simple question to identify what's draining you now and laterWhy teachers unconsciously subtract from their own experience and accomplishmentsHow to “add the two points back” when describing your work on a resume or in interviewsWhat it really means to seek a role with sustainable workload and room for growth Whether you're actively job searching, quietly exploring career options outside the classroom, or simply trying to survive another semester, this episode will help you stop second-guessing yourself and start trusting your internal data again.Because living with something every day doesn't make it small; it makes it familiar. And familiarity is not the same thing as fit.
DESCRIPTIONA bad weigh-in can feel like all your progress disappeared overnight, but most of the time it has nothing to do with fat gain. In this episode, I break down what's actually happening when the scale jumps, including water retention, glycogen, gut content, hormones, inflammation, stress, and inconsistent habits. We also talk about why weekly weigh-ins can be misleading, how daily weigh-ins should be used as data instead of judgment, and exactly what to do if your weight is trending up versus just having one off day. If the scale messes with your head or makes you want to quit, this episode will help you stay consistent and focused on long-term results.FIT40 LINKS✅ Feeling low on energy and out of shape but short on time?

If you're a woman over 40 who feels stuck in the cycle of starting over with weight loss, workouts, or healthy habits, this episode is for you. In this episode, we talk about what real consistency actually looks like (hint: it's not perfection), why all-or-nothing thinking keeps you stuck, and how habits built with grace lead to lasting weight loss, more energy, and confidence. You'll learn how to stop restarting, build habits that stick, and finally move forward without pressure or burnout. Mentioned in this episode:
In this solo episode of the Smart Real Estate Coach Podcast, I'm kicking off a fresh 12-month cycle by talking about something way more powerful than New Year's resolutions: rebuilding your thinking, your routines, and your environment so you can actually hit your real estate goals with certainty. Whether you're hearing this in January, March, or October, this is your invitation to "boom, reset" and design the next 12 months on purpose. I share recent wins from our Wicked Smart® community—6-figure 3 Paydays® deals closed in December—and then walk you through how to stop letting the past dictate your future, why not hitting goals has nothing to do with who you are (and everything to do with who you think you're not), and how to use creative financing and terms deals to create money now, money over time, and wealth long term in any market. We dig into mindset, exposure, association, routines, plans vs. goals, and I give you a series of simple but uncomfortable questions that can change the way you show up for your business, your family, and your future.
