Shout out to Jessica for helping me discover this podcast! Since then, it has become a staple on my playlists, providing me with laughs and informative content.
One of the best aspects of The Internet Today podcast is the refreshing millennial perspective it offers on current events. Ricky and Elliot manage to find humor in almost every situation, poking fun at how absurd the world has become in the current era. It's a great escape from the doom scrolling of mainstream news and offers a lighthearted take on the chaos and news we have to absorb. They provide a fresh and entertaining way to stay informed without telling you what to think or how to feel.
The transition from watching their show on YouTube to listening to it as a podcast has been a game-changer for me. It allows me to get my fix for their show without getting sucked into the endless procrastination loop of YouTube. Now I can stay updated on current events while doing chores around the house or commuting, making it much more efficient and enjoyable.
However, one downside of The Internet Today podcast is that I do miss their interviews from their Machinima days. While they still offer great commentary on various topics, having occasional interviews added another layer of depth to the show. Additionally, some listeners may miss the background music that used to accompany the show's YouTube format as it brought a more relaxed vibe that is absent in the solely audio-based podcast version.

Ricky and Elliot's chemistry is phenomenal, with their jokes bouncing off each other perfectly.
