The MFR Coach’s Podcast w/Heather Hammell, Life + Business Coach for Myofascial Release Therapists
I am collecting 2–3 minute audio recordings of your favorite memory with John, or a “Johnism” that stayed with you. These recordings will be edited together into a single podcast episode dedicated to John, so his impact can be remembered, honored, and shared in the voices of the people he influenced most. This is open to any therapist who wishes to participate, regardless of how long you knew John, or how closely you worked with him. There is no right story. If something meaningful comes to mind, it belongs here. The deadline to upload your audio recording to the Google Drive folder is December 23rd. Please record and upload it as soon as you can, so it does not get lost in the busyness of the next few days. Thank you for helping create something that reflects the depth, humanity, and legacy of John's work. Here are the very specific instructions on how to create the audio clip and get it turned in:Step 1. Record an audio only Zoom file Open Zoom on your computer. Click New Meeting. Once the meeting opens, turn your camera off. Click Mute, then immediately Unmute so Zoom is ready to record your voice. At the bottom of the Zoom window, click Record. If prompted, choose Record on this computer. Share your memory. Aim for 2–3 minutes. When finished, click Stop Recording. End the meeting. Zoom will automatically save the recording to your computer. This may take a minute. Please wait until Zoom finishes processing. Step 2. Find your Zoom audio file After Zoom finishes processing, a folder will open automatically. Inside that folder you will see: One video file One audio file (this usually ends in .m4a) You only need the audio file. If the folder does not open automatically: Open Documents Open the Zoom folder Open the most recent meeting folder Look for the .m4a file Step 3. Rename your audio file Before uploading, please rename the file using this format: YourName_JohnBarnesMemory Example:HeatherH_JohnBarnesMemory.m4a This helps us keep everything organized. Step 4. Upload your audio file to Google Drive Click the Google Drive link provided in the post below. Once the folder opens, click New or Upload. Choose File upload. Select your renamed .m4a audio file. Wait until the upload finishes. That is it. No additional sharing steps are needed. A few important notes Please record in a quiet space if possible. Speak naturally. This does not need to be polished or perfect. Audio only please. Do not upload video files. If you make a mistake, you can re-record before you upload the file. Don't over think it or over complicate it! Thank you for sharing your memory and honoring John in this way.Google Folder is here:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/11epsUoiqKS70MsYq7IzaBd6gPtGV2ANF?usp=sharing

Ray McAdam, Lord Mayor of Dublin, discusses Dublin City Council's meeting last night on Herzog Park in Rathgar.
Dublin City Council has removed the proposal to change the name of Herzog Park in Rathgar from the Council agenda and did not take a vote on the planned change. Lord Mayor of Dublin Cllr Ray McAdam said the proposal should be removed because the report on the issue was not legally sound and should not be voted on. He explained all to Newstalk Breakfast.

Raycast is an unusual app with an unusual amount of access: it's a launcher and application platform that can directly interact with all the files and apps on your computer. Raycast didn't start as an AI-centric product, but Thomas Paul Mann, the company's co-founder and CEO, thinks AI is the key to making Raycast even better. For this episode, the first in our two-part miniseries about how developers are using and building AI, Mann explains how he plans to turn models loose on your files and apps, how he's thinking about the security risks and privacy issues associated with that plan, and what it takes to build AI products that actually, you know, work. Mann also talks through how he uses AI, both in and out of Raycast, and how he became a prompt-first computer user. Writing in the Sunday Independent this morning, Irish journalist based in Tel Aviv, Paul Kearns, outlined that discussions of antisemitism in Ireland too often encounter two recurring responses - the first is minimisation, the second is a more subtle form of deflection. He joins Anton to discuss.
Ireland has been slow to name its airports after people. Streets and housing estates, yes, but as Ronan McGreevy points out, the State is more inclined to honour those who died for Ireland rather than those who lived for it.A Bill to rename Dublin Airport after former taoiseach Seán Lemass has been brought forward in the Dáil.It is not the first time the suggestion has been made; four years ago Taoiseach Micheál Martin proposed it, but talk of it fizzled out.For McGreevy, an Irish Times journalist and historian whose next book is on Lemass, the former taoiseach and leader of Fianna Fáil (1959-1966) is a clear choice. He tells In the News how Lemass was a great moderniser and as minister for industry and commerce when the airport opened in 1940, was a a supporter of facilitating air travel both in and out of the country. The proposed legislation was introduced on Tuesday by Fianna Fáil TD Malcolm Byrne, who said the airport “owes much to his policies and foresight”.So will the Seán Lemass Dublin International Airport Bill 2025 succeed? And why are we so reluctant to honour our former taoisigh? He points out that Cork's Jack Lynch Tunnel is the only piece of State infrastructure named after a former leader.Presented by Bernice Harrison. Produced by Suzanne Brennan and John Casey. Reporter, Joe Caulfield, speaks to people in Dublin Airport about the proposed name change to Sean Lemass Dublin International Airport.

Send us a textWhat if your most embarrassing chapter is the very place God writes His clearest headline of grace? We take a fresh look at Psalm 34 through David's flight to Gath—terror, pretence, and all—and discover how seeking God turns fear into radiance and detours into divine appointments. This isn't a tidy tale of instant miracles; it's a grounded guide for real people who feel misunderstood, conflicted, or stuck in a wilderness season. We unpack why “I will bless the Lord at all times” is not spiritual bravado but trained courage. From “this poor man cried” to “taste and see,” the psalm gives us a roadmap for practical faith: look to God, gather your people, guard your words, pursue peace, and expect His attentiveness. We connect David's testimony to the early church's resilience, explore the power of corporate prayer and wise companions, and challenge the myth of the self-made life by lifting up the joy of daily relationship with God.One image lingers: not one bone broken. We trace this promise to Jesus, showing how the Righteous One secures our wholeness even when life fractures our plans. The result is a new way to read your past. Rename old chapters with headlines from heaven—formation instead of failure, purpose instead of detour—and step forward with a steady heart. If you're ready to swap shame for radiance and anxiety for trust, this conversation will help you see God's goodness in motion. If this resonated, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs courage today, and leave a review with the headline you'd give your current chapter. Your story might be the spark someone else needs.Good morning, good afternoon, wherever you are in the world - Welcome to Grapevine Ministries. Support the show
Welcome to the Plant Nebraska Podcast! (formerly known as Bloom Box: Growing Deeper) In this first official episode under our new name, hosts Hanna and Sarah are talking about plants they love—but whose common names make it hard to convince others to plant them. From “swamp milkweed” to “sneezeweed,” we're rethinking names that don't do justice to beautiful, beneficial native plants. In a shocking move, the mayor of Duck Lake announced he is open to selling the town's naming rights for a minimum bid of $10-million dollars. The historic Métis community in central Saskatchewan is dwindling and it needs money to pay for road repairs and new water and sewer lines. Can the town do this? Will any companies make a bid? And what will this mean for people who live there?
Five-Star Clinic: Lessons from High-End Restaurants In this episode, Doc Danny Matta unpacks what elite restaurants do differently—then maps those exact moves to cash-based PT. From the reservation experience to ambiance, “the menu,” service, and checkout, learn how details create premium value, command higher rates, and generate more referrals. Quick Ask Help us reach our mission of adding $1B in cash-based services to physical therapy: share this episode with a clinician friend or post it to your Instagram stories and tag @dannymattaPT so he can reshare! Episode Summary Reservation experience → Pre-visit touch: Don't rely on generic confirmations. Call/text with directions, parking, “what to expect,” and a 1–2 day pre-visit email from the actual provider. Ambiance → Your space: Design matters. Lighting, smell, layout, materials, music, branding—create an intentional feel your ideal patient loves (and wants to refer into). Menu → Productized services: Name and package outcomes (e.g., “Pain-Free Performance Plan,” “Athlete Optimization”). Present options with a clean pricing sheet and a confident recommendation. Service → Clinical excellence + standards: Providers are your brand. Hold the standard on punctuality, communication, dress, outcomes, and EQ. Coach up or move on. Checkout → Frictionless finish + surprise & delight: Card on file, painless renewals, small “day-one” gifts (e.g., mobility tools), and handwritten thank-you notes. Premium perception: Details separate you from commodity clinics, justify higher prices, improve hiring/retention, and grow word-of-mouth. Lessons & Takeaways Details are the brand: Senses and systems create perceived value before treatment starts. Curate the offer: Productize services and tie them to outcomes—not visit counts. Own the recommendation: Be definitive with prognosis and plan; don't talk patients out of yes. Invest in the room: Space design is a growth investment, not a cost center. Mindset & Motivation The standard is the standard: High-performing teams protect the bar—and A-players expect it. Experience > price: When the experience is elite, price sensitivity drops. Steal like an operator: Study elite brands (restaurants, retail, studios) and adapt their best ideas. Pro Tips for Owners Pre-visit provider email: 2 days before, introduce yourself, set expectations, share a clinic video. Design the senses: Lighting plan, signature scent, music policy, brand palette, signage. Pricing sheet = menu: Clean layout, outcome-named plans, clear primary recommendation. Frictionless billing: Card on file, pay-in-full or monthly plan, one-tap renewals. Wow moment: Day-one useful gift (e.g., mobility balls) bundled into care—don't nickel & dime. Notable Quotes “In world-class restaurants the details are the experience. Your clinic is no different.” “Your pricing sheet is your menu—curate it, name it, and recommend with confidence.” “Patients buy outcomes and experience, not minutes on a table.” Action Items Write a pre-visit SOP: admin call + provider intro email + directions/parking. Audit your space for lighting, scent, music, and signage—fix one item this week. Rename and package your top 2–3 offers into outcome-based plans. Implement card on file and simplify renewals. Buy day-one gifts for all new plans of care and add handwritten thank-you cards. Smart Agency Masterclass with Jason Swenk: Podcast for Digital Marketing Agencies
Would you like access to our advanced agency training for FREE? https://www.agencymastery360.com/training 00:00 The "Poppi" acquisition and winning by being different 00:30 Brands need agencies to help them “stand out” 01:30 Agency's role: From vendor to transformation partner 02:00 Transformative client results through positioning 02:50 Five tactics for agencies to help clients win differently 04:10 The "Hell Yes" framework for brand building Pepsi just dropped $2 billion to acquire Poppi. Let that sink in. A gut-health soda brand that didn't even exist a decade ago is now a multibillion-dollar player — without some bloated VC war chest or Super Bowl ads. Why? Because they didn't just sell a drink. They sold vitality without boredom. Just like Liquid Death isn't selling water. They're selling rebellion in a can. This matters to you because your agency clients are still playing the safe game. Bland branding. Forgettable messaging. Funnel tweaks and ad spend tricks. But the world doesn't reward better. It rewards different. And that's where you come in. Your Agency's Real Role You're not here to push pixels or track conversions. You're here to make your clients matter. To help them stop blending in and start building brands that get followed, shared, and loved. In this episode we'll break down exactly how to do that—with a proven playbook called the “HELL YES” Framework. But first, let's look at what these breakout brands got right. The Big Brand Lessons (You Should Be Using) Help Clients Define What They Believe in (And What They're Against). Poppi didn't sell soda. They sold gut health. Liquid Death didn't sell water. They sold identity. Brands that break out don't try to be better. They choose to be louder about what they stand for. Build a Brand that Lives Beyond The Product. Help them create their presence in culture. What's the founders point of view? What's the audience they want to turn into a community. From reels & TikTok make sure that message is out there. Package. Reframe offer as outcomes, not service. Teach them to Create Demand. Help them post scroll-stopping content that really builds trust from someone that'll want to learn more. Help Them Become Known for Something. Your clients will need a signature method that is repeatable and has a catchy name. That's how they'll own a category. The HELL YES Framework (How to Build Brands That Get Followed) Here's the full breakdown from Jason's playbook: H – Hook with a Belief Choose a bold POV. Rally people around something real. Don't try to please everyone—draw a line. E – Elevate the Outcome Sell transformation, not tasks. Rename and reframe. “The Visibility Engine” beats “SEO setup” every time. L – Lead with Culture Get them living where the culture lives—Reels, TikTok, Shorts. Turn content into a vibe. L – Lock in Their Framework Give their offer a name. A method. A repeatable process. That's how they own a category. Y – Yield to Simplicity Kill the fluff. Be painfully clear. One offer. One CTA. No jargon. E – Engineer the Experience Make onboarding and delivery unforgettable. Brand the process. Delight people. S – Share the Wins Loud Don't just toss out metrics—tell the story. Make the transformation the headline. Real Talk: You're Sitting on the Solution You've already got the skills. The strategy. The services. What your agency really needs is a sharper positioning and a clearer method — just like Zach and Jack did. Whether you're stuck pitching work that doesn't excite you anymore or just tired of clients treating you like a vendor, the shift starts here. And if you're ready to build a brand that people don't just buy from, but believe in… Let's stop chasing better. Start building bolder. Because when your agency leads movements, not just marketing—you become unforgettable. Agency Mastermind Still feel like you're winging it? You're not alone. Most agency owners hit a plateau because they're stuck in the business, buried in decisions, and disconnected from people who get it. The agencies killing it and scaling faster found out they needed to be in the right room. Go to https://www.agencymastery360.com/agency-mastery and get access to a community of agency owners sharing their data, deals, strategies, and mindset shifts.
