Sooooo I took my parents to therapy, which was one of the most liberating therapy sessions I have ever had. I didn't realize how much I was holding on to when it came to my parents, but I am glad that I was able to get some things off my chest and also hear my parent's perspectives on things as well.I urge you, if you are in therapy, to include your parents in a session or two and if you aren't, consider it.
