The key to romanticizing life is to see the beauty in your own life, instead of trying to make your life aesthetically perfect or comparing it to someone elses' seemingly perfect life. “But if you knew you might not be able to see it again tomorrow, everything would suddenly become special and precious, wouldn't it?” ― Haruki Murakami --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/malama-life/support

Just want to say THANK YOU to you guys for being a part of this journey. It wouldn't be possible without you and your support. OK, this is a big subject to tackle, but I wanted to put my spin on this topic. The topic of living in a modern society where everything is outsourced, mass-produced, and tech-driven. Where we have to scan QR codes to look at the menu and we have "avatars" that represent us in the digital world...etc. I'm all for progress in the right direction, but I also don't think we should forget about timeless values. Coming back from a long vacation always puts everything into perspective. Do you guys feel this way too? --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/malama-life/support

“You are imperfect, you are wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.” - Brené Brown
I have gotten rid of almost everything I own in the past year. Not to exaggerate, but it truly changed my life for the better. Today, I thought I would share with you the things I got rid of to live my best life. Physical things and the mindset I left behind with them. “The most common ego identifications have to do with possessions, the work you do, social status and recognition, knowledge and education, physical appearance, special abilities, relationships, personal and family history, belief systems, and often also political, nationalistic, racial, religious, and other collective identifications. None of these is you.” -Eckhart Tolle
I think it's natural to want to take things to the extreme to see big changes in our lives. I hope you enjoy the video :) By the way, happy holidays to every single one of you! I hope you were able to spend quality time with your loved ones. I am grateful for everything that happened in 2022 and excited to see what 2023 will bring. Take care and stay warm guys ❤️ big hugs
