The NC State baseball season came to a shocking close less than one month ago, but the program is already looking forward to the 2023 season. One of the main reasons for that is the potential return of Sam Highfill, the Wolfpack's expected ace who missed more than half the 2022 season due to a back injury. NC State football got a huge boost in the trenches on Thursday evening with the NCAA granting a medical waiver for offensive lineman Chandler Zavala. Not only was it huge for Zavala personally, but it was also a massive addition for the Wolfpack at a position of need after losing Ikem Ekwonu this offseason. The NC State women's basketball program notched its third straight ACC Tournament title in dominant fashion over Miami on Sunday afternoon. Wes Moore's squad won the three games by a combined 58 points to clinch a fourth ACC title in the last three years and solidify itself as a No. 1 seed heading into the NCAA Tournament. The men's program, meanwhile, lost a fourth straight game in ACC play, falling to Florida State to clinch dead last heading into Brooklyn. Miles and Cory take a look back on both, while also looking ahead to the next couple weeks for both as March rages on.
