The returning Jack Pitt-Brooke and James Maw join host Danny Kelly after yet another defeat for Spurs. This time, though, it was a bit different. Unlike recent months, Spurs played well in the first half rather than the second and went 2-0 up against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium. But four second-half goals saw Antonio Conte's side lose 4-2. Another poor performance from Hugo Lloris prompts the question: should he be dropped? And the panel discuss whether ENIC would actually sanction the sale of the club amid fan discontent. Produced by Mike Stavrou. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Arsenal will be top of the Premier League table at Christmas after they brushed aside Wolves 2-0, and Manchester City suffered a shock 2-1 home defeat to Brentford in the day's early kick-off. City boss Pep Guardiola admitted the better side won the game, whilst Thomas Frank was jubilant that Brentford's first away win of the season came at the Etihad Stadium. Elsewhere, the former Spurs midfielder Jamie O'Hara rants about the current side, that's despite them beating Leeds 4-3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and Spurs boss Antonio Conte admitted other sides are better placed than them at the moment due to the time they've had together. England fly-half Marcus Smith says their convincing win over Japan hopefully made up for their defeat to Argentina last week in the Autumn Nations Series, and the Red Roses captain Sarah Hunter believes Women's Sport will only continue to grow, but also said sport is cruel after a narrow 34-31 defeat to New Zealand in the World Cup final. England captain Jos Buttler has admitted he has allowed himself to dream of lifting the T20 World Cup trophy ahead of this morning's final against Pakistan in Melbourne. Hosted on Acast. The Champions League Semi-Finals are back with a bang! Tune in as the crew gets ready to hand out their Champions League picks for this week's games as the UCL Semi-Finals brings us many thrilling matches. Join us as the crew delivers their soccer predictions and free tips ahead of the UCL Semi-finals. A mouth-watering tie awaits when Manchester City hosts Spanish giants Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League on Tuesday night at Etihad Stadium. The 13-times European winners Real Madrid has nothing to lose, seeing off two heavy contenders PSG in the round of 16 and Chelsea in the quarter-finals, with an aging squad, who will now play against their old rival from his Barcelona days, Pep Guardiola. Despite not having a proper striker, Man City has been a dominating side credit to their midfield, who have been world-class and always found a way to break their opponent. Liverpool will welcome Villarreal at Anfield to play the first leg of the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night. The Reds have set their status so high this season that they are now in the quest for an unprecedented quadruple, having already won the Carabao Cup against Chelsea, and are now in the final of the FA Cup, where they will face similar opposition they faced in League Cup. Villarreal is in sublime form. They demonstrated quality football against Bayern Munich to proceed to the Champions League semi-final for the first time since 2006. Liverpool remain just one point behind Premier League leaders Manchester City following a 2-2 draw at The Etihad Stadium. You're listening to the Post Game Podcast with Patrick Smith after an absolute thriller of a match between the two greatest teams in the league, if not the world.City took an early lead through Kevin De Bruyne, but the ever reliable Diogo Jota maintained his unbelievable form this season, equalising for the Reds shortly after for his 21st of the season. It certainly wasn't a vintage first half from Jurgen Klopp's side to put it lightly, as the hosts grabbed a second through Gabriel Jesus and perhaps could've had an even healthier lead heading into the break.Liverpool burst out from the break in the second half and Sadio Mane scored the final goal of the evening to make the score level at 2-2 within a minute of kicking off.The result means the title is now technically out of Liverpool's hands, and they will need City to drop points in their remaining seven fixtures, if the title is to return to Merseyside. But as for today, we've got all the quality reaction you need to that Premier League Classic, with the Liverpool ECHO's Paul Gorst's Verdict, Jurgen Klopp's press conference, and the reaction from the Reds Supporters.
