The group acts a drunk mess at the party, inviting the derision of Charlie's friend Will, who Noah overhears. Noah and Will develop angry romantic tension. Howie's shot at love is jeopardized when Charlie's ex shows up and kisses Charlie. Noah keeps trying to push and fix Howie, causing tension in their relationship. Howie asks Noah not to meddle, but Noah meddles anyway and convinces Charlie to leave his ex to make a big romantic gesture to Howie. Will apologizes for his derision to Howie, and the two kiss.
