Episode 169 The Canteen Run has been going strong for 11 years, and I knew very little about it. We scratch the surface on the services they provide. They really take care of a vast number of people that are forgotten in our community. If you thought about volunteering more in 2017, this would be a great start. They work around your schedule. Stop by the Savoy United Methodist Church on Duncan and Old Church Road on January 28th for Italian Night. This is a big fundraiser for their efforts.

Episode 168 I get a chance to talk to more members in the Junior League of CU, and even get to meet the upcoming President. We discuss a couple of their upcoming events including their Trivia Night and Leadership Boot Camp.
